Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 12:212:2 Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in painto give birth.
There are two conditions of the Church of God at the last age as follows:
- Verse 2 refers to the most powerless condition.
- Facing the dragon refers to facing the darkness, the shaking, and the crisis in all things.
Revelation 12:3
12:3 And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragonhaving seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads.
What should the Church of God do in this condition? "
cried out in labor and in pain"= The thing that we can do is only groaning and crying to God.
Lamentations 2:18-192:18 Their heart cried out to the Lord, "O wall of the daughter of Zion, Let tears run down like a river day and night; Give yourself no relief; Give your eyes no rest. 2:19 "Arise, cry out in the night, At the beginning of the watches; Pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord. Lift your hands toward Him For the life of your young children, Who faint from hungerat the head of every street."
"cry out in the night" refers to the last age and the all night-long prayer.
At the last age, the Church must groan and cry a lot to God (all night-long prayer), so we will not enter the physical and spiritual famine (dissatisfaction up to sinning to the peak of sin).
The physical and spiritual famine results in perdition forever.
Amos 8:11-128:11 "Behold, the days are coming," says the Lord GOD, "That I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine of bread, Nor a thirst for water, But of hearing the words of the LORD. 8:12 They shall wander from sea to sea, And from north to east; They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the LORD, But shall not find it.
At the last age, there will be spiritual famine of hearing the Word of God. The spiritual famine results in the physical one (the physical crisis in economy and marriage).
The facts found within the spiritual famine are as follows:
- "sell grain" refers to disrespect and insulting the Word of God especially the true teaching Word.
Amos 8:5
8:5 Saying: "When will the New Moon be past, That we may sell grain? And the Sabbath, That we may trade wheat? Making the ephah small and the shekel large, Falsifying the scales by deceit,
- "making the ephah small and the shekel large" refers to making the physical things more important than the Word of God.
Shekel is the measurement for money or the physical things.
Ephah is the measurement for the wheat or the spiritual things.
For example, there is no time for hearing the Word because one is busy with the physical things or he ignores the Word because of the physical things when the Word is being preached.
The fact found in making the ephah small and the shekel large is being against the Word to get the physical things.
This is the deceit or falsity in the house of God.
- Complaining when hearing the hard Word that takes a lot of time. It is because the Word points the sins while one is keeping the sins.
John 6:60-61,66
6:60 Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, "This is a hard saying; who can understand it?"
6:61 When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples complainedabout this, He said to them, "Does this offend you?
6:66 From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more.
As a result, he cannot enjoy the Word anymore.
If it is continued, he will leave the teaching Word. It means that he goes back and walks with Jesus no more, but he follows the voice of flesh, the strange voice (sin of tradition or the advice from strange person), and Satan, so he perishes forever.
- Falling and never rising again.
Amos 8:13-14
8:13 "In that day the fair virgins And strong young men Shall faint from thirst.
8:14 Those who swear by the sin of Samaria, Who say, 'As your god lives, O Dan!' And, 'As the way of Beersheba lives!' They shall fall and never rise again."
If there is the Word, the dead man can rise.
"fall" refers to falling in the sin of arrogance, lying, and the peak of sins.
"never rise again" refers to living in sins or die spiritually. One cannot repent like Satan, so he perishes forever.
For that reason, we must change our cry for physical things into the cry for getting and enjoying the revelation of the Word, whatever the things that we must sacrifice.
Revelation 5:45:4 So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it.
Enjoying the Word is the same as hearing and obeying the Word. Thus, we experience the purification in our heart, thought, deed, sight, character, and saying up to our whole life.
If we are holy, it will not be hard to worship God.
Matthew 5:85:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.
"shall see God"refers to speaking to God, raising our hands, and crying out to Him or worshiping God like a man who was blind from birth.
John 9:1,6-79:1 Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. 9:6 When He had said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. 9:7 And He said to him, "Go, wash in the pool of Siloam" (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing.
People who are living outside the Word are like the blind man from birth. The condition is in crisis, impossibility, and powerlessness.
But, there is still the opportunity to enjoy the Word (the blind man stayed still when Jesus anointed the clay with saliva on his eyes).
Verse 7 refers to the obedience whatever the risk may come, so he was helped. Otherwise, if one is holy but he insults the Word, he will fall.
The saliva from the mouth of Jesus refers to the Word that is revealed. It always points at our sins and insults us. This is what we must receive.
The blind man from birth was willing to hear, enjoy, and obey the true teaching Word. Thus, he experienced the purification and his eyes were open. He saw Jesus, spoke to Him, and raised his hands to Him.
John 9:37-389:37 And Jesus said to him, "You have both seen Him and it is He who is talking with you." 9:38 Then he said, "Lord, I believe!" And he worshiped Him.
The results are as follows:
- The spiritual miracle happens. It means the life renewal from carnal man to spiritual one like Jesus. It starts from being set free from sins.
John 9:39
9:39 And Jesus said, "For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind."
"not see may see" refers to not seeing other's fault but we always see ours, so we can do the introspection in our life.
When we find the sin, we confess it to God and others. After we are forgiven, do not commit the sin anymore. It means that we are set free from sin and we can live in righteousness.
If we stay in silence, God will work in due time.
- The physical miracle happens. It means being set free from physical crisis.
The blind man from birth can see. It means as follows:
- The help from God to erase the impossible things. All impossible problems are finished in due time.
- Creating something that does not exist yet refers to the power of caring and protection.
- The dark becomes light. It refers to the power for making everything successful, joyful, and beautiful in time. We feel peaceful and everything becomes easy and light.
When Jesus comes a second time, we are changed to become perfect as He is to greet His second coming on the glorious clouds. We are set free from sins. We see Him face to face to enter the New Jerusalem. We worship God day and night. We are never separated from Him anymore.
Let us enjoy the Word and do not be suspicious to His Word until we are purified! Let us see Jesus and give all of our sins. Let Him work until we see Him face to face.
God blesses us.
