Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 17:11-14
17:11. "And the beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition.
17:12. "The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast.
17:13. "These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.
17:14. "These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful."
The beast has seven heads. It refers to the seven kings.
The ten horns refer to the ten kings.
The beast itself refers to a king, namely the one of the darkness.
So, the total is eighteen. It refers to the Antichrist with the mark of triple six.
The three kinds of strength and power--the horn--of the Antichrist that become the enemies of God and us are as follows:
- The strength of the world and its influences, namely riches, position, happiness, suffering, et ceterathat make us become unfaithful.
James 4:4
4:4. Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
- The lust of the fleshthat makes us disobedient.
Romans 8:7-8
8:7. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.
8:8. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
- The sins up to the peak--the death--that make us unrighteous.
1 Corinthians 15:26
15:26. The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.
[verse 14] The purpose is making war with the Lamb and His army, namely those who are called, chosen, and faithful, and they will always surely overcome the Antichrist.
Being called means being justified and living in righteousness.
Being chosen is the same as being equipped with the ministry and Holy Spirit's gift.
Those who are defeated or hit by the horn of the Antichrist are those who are not called, chosen, and unfaithful, so they are far from God. They worship the Antichrist and become the same as him to be destroyed.
That is why we must become the servants of God who are shepherded earnestly, so we can become faithful, righteous, and obedient to God. We have the horn of God's strength and power to defeat the horn of the Antichrist.
The two kinds of the horn of God's strength and power are as follows:
- The horns of the Altar of Burnt Offering. It refers to the strength and power of God on the cross.
Exodus 27:2
27:2. "You shall make its horns on its four corners; its horns shall be of one piece with it. And you shall overlay it with bronze.
The horn consists of bone substance. It is hard like the bone.
2 Kings 13:21
13:21. So it was, as they were burying a man, that suddenly they spied a band of raiders; and they put the man in the tomb of Elisha; and when the man was let down and touched the bones of Elisha, he revivedand stood on his feet.
The bone refers to the power of resurrection.
Romans 4:25
4:25. who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.
Jesus dies on the cross to give us the power of remission of sins that we have confessed and the power to set us free from sins, so we can repent or die to sin.
Jesus is risen with the power to justify us, so we live in righteousness.
So, those who have the horn of the cross are those who repent and live in righteousness.
Luke 1:69
1:69. And has raised up a horn of salvation for us In the house of His servant David,
Psalm 18:2
18:2. The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
It is the same as the horn of salvation. It means that we are protected and taken care of from sins, so we live in righteousness. We are saved and blessed by God.
- The horns of the Golden Altar of Incense.
Exodus 30:2-3
30:2. "A cubit shall be its length and a cubit its width -- it shall be square -- and two cubits shall be its height. Its horns shall be of one piece with it.
30:3. "And you shall overlay its top, its sides all around, and its horns with pure gold; and you shall make for it a molding of gold all around.
The horn refers to the power of resurrection. The gold refers to Holy Spirit.
In the prayer, we experience the power of resurrection of Holy Spirit to do the things as follows:
- Surviving or defending ourselves.
Romans 8:33-35
8:33. Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies.
8:34. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
8:35. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
In heaven, Jesus also prays to makes intercession for us. The results are as follows:
- We do not fall into sins up to the peak.
- We are not punished but receive the remission of sins, and we are justified by God.
- We do not get disappointed and desperate as well as leave God. We do not fall from faith when we are in the tribulation, the impossible temptation, disease, et cetera. We keep trusting, hoping, and worshipping God.
Do not give up! But, we totally surrender to God and worship Him. God allows us to experience the tribulation, temptation, et ceterato prove our faith to Him. We keep on loving Him more than anything. We keep on worshipping Him.
- Attacking. We cannot use the power of the flesh or our own power to make war with the Antichrist. We will surely be defeated, because we are like the sheep for the slaughter.
Isaiah 30:15
30:15. For thus says the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel: "In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength." But you would not,
Making war with the power of Holy Spirit is being silent and calm.
Being silent means that we do the introspection in our life. Finding sin, we must confess and repent.
1 Peter 4:7
4:7. But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.
Being calm means that we are always in the sheepfold. We are shepherded well and correctly. We control ourselves, so we do not hope others but God. We can totally pray, trust, and commit ourselves to God.
Holy Spirit with the unlimited power will fight for us and defeat all of our enemies.
Titus 3:5
3:5. not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
Holy Spirit changes us from the fleshly men to the spiritual ones. We do not follow the lust of the flesh, but we keep on being in the will of God and living in righteousness.
Romans 12:11
12:11. not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;
Holy Spirit makes us minister to God faithfully and fervently until the finish line.
Mark 4:35-39
4:35. On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, "Let us cross over to the other side."
4:36. Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him.
4:37. And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling.
4:38. But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, "Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?"
4:39. Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace, be still!" And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.
Holy Spirit is able to calm all wind and waves in the ocean of the world. It means finishing all of impossible problems. We experience peace, so all things become easy and light. We are used in the revival of Holy Spirit in the last rain or the building of the perfect body of Christ.
God blesses us.
