To Coincide with Fasting Prayer Service Session IIIPeace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 11: 7-1011:7. When they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pitwill make war against them, overcome them, and kill them.
11:8. And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
11:9. Then those from the peoples, tribes, tongues, and nations will see their dead bodies three-and-a-half days, and not allow their dead bodies to be put into graves.
11:10. And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them, make merry, and send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.
The title is the Two Witnesses Killed.
The two witnesses were killed. It refers to the atmosphere of spiritual dryness and death that sweeps all over the world including the church of God because of rejecting the cross or the death experience with Jesus.
There is only death without the cross. But, there is life in the cross.
The two witnesses are the last two righteous people in the world. The matter of the two witnesses' being killed means that there is no more righteous person in this world.
Ezekiel 37:1-2,11-1237:1. The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones.
37:2. Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry.
37:11. Then He said to me, "Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say, 'Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!'
37:12. Therefore prophesy and say to them, 'Thus says the Lord God: "Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
The atmosphere of spiritual dryness and death was prophesied by Ezekiel as the dry bones which were scattered in the grave.
The scattered dry bones refer to the body of Christ that is separated or does not enter the unity of His body. Consequently, one will be left when Jesus comes a second time. He will not be resurrected if he dies, but will perish in hell forever.
How is the solution?
Ezekiel 37:3-637:3. And He said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" So I answered, "O Lord God, You know."
37:4. Again He said to me, "Prophesyto these bones, and say to them, 'O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!
37:5. Thus says the Lord God to these bones: "Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.
37:6. I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord."
The only solution to face the dry bones in the valley is through the Word of prophecy.
The prophetic Word is the true teaching Word or the Bride Tidings. This is needed to wake up the church of God who is sleeping.
Matthew 25:625:6. And at midnight a cry was heard: 'Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!
The Gospel Word is important to increase the quantity. Afterwards, it must be continued with the Bride Tidings so that we do not become the dry bones.
Without the Bride Tidings, no matter how great a person or the church of God is in the world, he will only be like the dry bones in the grave that lead to the destruction forever.
We must hear and obey the Bride Tidings. After that, we can enjoy the result.
Ezekiel 37:7-837:7. So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone.
37:8. Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.
The results of the work of the Bride Tidings or the Word of Prophecy are as follows:
- 'a rattling' = the sound of confessing sin, not judging people.
- The bones came together = the fellowship.
- The sinews and joints.
The joints = to move.
The sinews = to unify.
- 'the flesh came upon them' = to grow the new flesh or the renewal.
- 'the skin covered them over'.
ad. 5.
We have heard that there is the skin of reconciliation, the skin of the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and the skin of glory..
Tonight, we are learning about the skin that is the same as the sense of touch. It also refers to feelings.
We discuss the skin that is related to the worship prayer.
Matthew 6:16-176:16. "Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.
6:17. But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face,
Verse 16-17 is about the worship prayer. And then, verse 19-24 is about collecting treasures. If we are wrong in collecting treasures, we will lose the Heaven.
Collecting treasures refers to the skin, which means the desire of becoming rich or the love of money.
Verse 25-34 is about worries.
Matthew 6:25,346:25. "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
6:34. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
The skin refers to worrying or being afraid of something that has not happened yet.
This is the skin that should be struggled in prayer.
The signs of the true fasting prayer are as follows:
- "anoint your head"= the mind is anointed by the Holy Spirit.
- "wash your face"= the heart is sanctified by the Word of God.
So, the true fasting prayer means giving the widest opportunity to the Word of God in the anointing of the Holy Spirit or the true teaching Word to sanctify the heart and mind up to the whole life.
- Neither eating nor drinking like Moses and Jesus.
So, the fasting prayer is the process of tearing the flesh from the desire of becoming rich or worrying until it does not speak anymore or the veil is torn. We are renewed until we become as glorious as Jesus, and we do not need to enter the persecution of the antichrist.
Now we learn about the desire to be rich or worries as follows:
- The desire of becoming rich is the same as the love of money that leads the servant of God to become stingy and greedy.
Being stingy means not being able to give to others.
Being greedy means stealing other's, especially God's, namely the tithe and the special offerings.
Being stingy and greedy is the same as idolatry, and the consequence is being destroyed.
The true fasting prayer is the process of tearing the flesh that has the desire of becoming rich. So, we always want to give more until we feel that it is more blessed to give than to receive as follows:
- To return the tithe that belongs to God's.
- To give to the works of God.
- To give others who are in need.
- To give our lives fully to God. It is the same as experiencing peace.
- Worry.
What are we often worried about?
- The daily needs.
Matthew 6:31
6:31. "Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
- The future.
Matthew 6:34
6:34. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
- The marriage or relationship.
1 Corinthians 7:29-32
7:29. But this I say, brethren, the time is short, so that from now on even those who have wives should be as though they had none,
7:30. those who weep as though they did not weep, those who rejoice as though they did not rejoice, those who buy as though they did not possess,
7:31. and those who use this world as not misusing it. For the form of this world is passing away.
7:32. But I want you to be without care. He who is unmarried cares for the things of the Lord--how he may please the Lord.
- When we face sufferings or persecution because of Jesus or the truth.
Matthew 10:19-20
10:19. But when they deliver you up, do not worryabout how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak;
10:20. for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.
- Not entering the Heaven or the worry about salvation.
John 14:1-2
14:1. "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
14:2. In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
Matthew 6:32-33
6:32. For after all these things the Gentilesseek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
6:33. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
The consequences of being worried are as follows:
- Living in the characteristics of the Gentiles or not believing in God.
- Being unfaithful and unrighteous in the service and ministry to God, and in everything including to others.
- Being dead physically because of fears.
Luke 21:25-26
21:25. "And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring;
21:26. men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
Worry is the main physical killer. It also causes the spiritual death up to the perdition in the hell forever.
The true fasting prayer is the process of tearing the flesh that is always worried until we can surrender all the worries to God up to our lives fully to Him.
The fact found in it is to be shepherded well and correctly. It means to always be in the shepherding pen or the perseverance in the three main services to God.
1 Peter 5:7
5:7. casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
In the shepherding pen, we receive protection and care from God, like He preserved Goshen in the past. We are in peace ('He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.')
So, the true fasting prayer produces the feeling of peace or the new skin. There is no more desire to become rich but we want to give more. There is no more worry, but we believe in God.
The peaceful heart is the place of the Holy Spirit.
The functions of the Holy Spirit are as follows:
- The Holy Spirit makes all weariness and heavy burdens become easy and light.
When everything is easy and light, we will reach the end line. The matter of service and ministering to God is easy and light, we will reach the end line too. The matter of marriage is also like that.
We must keep everything up to the end line, namely being raised to the Heaven.
- The Holy Spirit is able to make the great mountain become a plain.
Zechariah 4:6-9
4:6. So he answered and said to me: "This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' Says the Lord of hosts.
4:7. 'Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone, with shouts of "Grace, grace to it!" '
4:8. Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
4:9. "The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this temple; His hands shall also finish it. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me to you.
The mountain of sins becomes a plain. It means to live in righteousness and holiness.
The mountain of problems that is getting bigger becomes a plain. It means that the impossible problem will be resolved.
When the mountain becomes a plain, the Holy Spirit gives the gifts and the ministry in order to use us in the edification of the perfect body of Christ. We have the beautiful robe and become the beautiful stone.
When the mountain becomes a plain, we can see ahead. It means that we receive a successful and beautiful future.
- The Holy Spirit is able to sanctify or burn the characteristics of dogs and pigs that smell bad to become fragrant before God.
Romans 15:16
15:16. that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
There are no more lies, but only truth.
The deeds are also fragrant, namely being obedient. We only do the right and good deeds up to repaying evil with kindness.
Being honest and faithful is the same as becoming fragrant. We can carry the fragrance of the Gospel and the Bride Tidings everywhere, starting in the family.
The rotten become fragrant, the destroyed one becomes good, and the impossible one becomes possible. It continues until we become as perfect as Jesus when He comes. We do not stumble in words, but we shout "Alleluia" in the glorious clouds until we enter the New Jerusalem.
God blesses us.
