Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation chapter 19-20 refers to the second coming of Jesus for the two sides as follows:
- As for the church of God who is ready, Jesus comes as follows:
- Verse 6, namely as the King of kings.
- Verse 7, namely as the Heavenly Bridegroom.
- Verse 11-16, namely as the High Priest who is Faithful and True.
The church of God who gets ready and becomes as perfect as Jesus will be lifted up on the glorious clouds to enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God.
- As for the people who do not believe in Jesus, including the church of God who keeps sinning, Jesus will come as the righteous Judge (verse 17-20) to punish them with the three times seven punishments, doomsday, and the hell.
Mark 7:37 7:37. And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, "He has done all things well. He makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak."In the preparation time, Jesus is working with His love to make all things good. It means that Jesus works to fix the senses, especially the deaf and the mute up to perfection--'
it is very good'.
The meanings of the deaf and the mute are as follows:
- Physically.
The deaf means that one cannot hear others' words.
The mute means that one cannot speak well with others.
So, the deaf and the mute means that one has separation with others, so he suffers.
- Spiritually.
The deaf means that one does not want to hear and understand the Word. It is the same as ignoring God's calling.
The deaf means that one cannot speak or pray to God. His prayer is ignored by God. He calls God, but He ignores him.
Zechariah 7:12-14
7:12. "Yes, they made their hearts like flint, refusing to hear the law and the words which the LORD of hosts had sent by His Spirit through the former prophets. Thus great wrath came from the LORD of hosts.
7:13. "Therefore it happened, that just as He proclaimed and they would not hear, so they called out and I would not listen," says the LORD of hosts.
7:14. "But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations which they had not known. Thus the land became desolate after them, so that no one passed through or returned; for they made the pleasant land desolate."
So, the deaf and the mute means that one has separation with God.
The consequences are as follows:
- Being spiritually withered. He is never satisfied, so he is very miserable and controlled by the death up to perdition forever.
- The thing that is good can be destroyed or broken.
On the contrary, if we have good relationship with God, the thing that has been destroyed or broken will be good.
John 20:19 20:19. Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shutwhere the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, "Peace be with you."For example, the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled. It means having separation with God and others. They were in fear, anxiety, and distress. They were stressed and faced the dead end in the world up to heaven.
John 20:20 20:20. When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. The way out is that the ear must be opened to hear the Word of God, so the eyes are opened to see Jesus who has risen.
The process is as follows:
- Looking at Jesus' sidethat is pierced, out of which blood and water immediately come.
The blood sign means repentingor stopping sinning and returning to God--being dead to sin.
The water sign refers to the water baptismor new life, namely life in righteousness.
We become the instrument of righteousness.
- Looking at Jesus' hand. It means working or ministering like Jesus, namely we minister in holiness and love, so our ministry becomes eternal. We will never stop on the way.
- Looking at Jesus' face. It means worshipping God. We totally surrender to God, so we experience the renewal of life from the fleshly men to the spiritual ones like Jesus.
Ephesians 4:23-25
4:23. and be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
4:24. and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
4:25. Therefore, putting away lying, "Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor," for we are members of one another.
We become honest, namely we are honest about the true teaching, money, and marriage.
As a result, we experience peace, so all things become easy and light.
The peaceful heart is the strong base for the High Priest to work for us. The results are as follows:
- The merciful and faithful hands are able to help us in due time.
Hebrews 2:17-18
2:17. Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.
2:18. For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.
We must be patient in waiting the time of God. We have not been helped by God because He is working for our spirituality, so we are well pleasing before Him.
- God guarantees the successful and beautiful future--'a future and a hope'.
Jeremiah 29:11
29:11. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
- God is able to protect and take care of us in the midst of the difficulties of the world.
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
5:23. Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
5:24. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.
God is able to purify us up to being spotless or perfection like Jesus. We enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God, the upcoming Paradise, and the New Jerusalem.
God blesses us.
