Matthew 26:69-75is about Peter denied Jesus.
Peter denied Jesus three times as follows.
Matthew 26:73-75
26:73 And a little later those who stood by came up and said to Peter, "Surely you also are one of them, for your speech betrays you."
26:74 Then he began to curse and swear, saying, "I do not know the Man!" Immediately a rooster crowed.
26:75 And Peter remembered the word of Jesus who had said to him, "Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times." So he went out and wept bitterly.
Cursing equals to keeping the ambience of curse or being in it. It is the ambience of thorns, namely suffering, sorrows, tears, anxiety, fear, distress, et cetera. It depends on our mouth. Mouth which curses many more will cause the ambience of curse and there is no peace in life.
Galatians 3:13-14
3:13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"),
3:14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Actually, Jesus has offered Himself on the cross in order to bear the curse of sin, to deliver us from the curse of sin even to bless us.
Peter denied Jesus with swearing and cursing means he denied the sacrifice of Christ or His cross.
Matthew 16:21-23
16:21. From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.
16:22 Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, "Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!"
16:23 But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men."
Consequently, one becomes stumbling-block and easily stumbles.
Matthew 18:6
18:6 "But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
The consequence of being stumbling-block is a millstone are hung around the neck and he is drowned in the depth of the sea.
Meaning being weary and heavy laden, one cannot worship God but he becomes in spiritual dryness and sins in the sins of Babylon, referring to the sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage, until being drowned in the sea of fire and brimstone.
Revelation 18:21
18:21 Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, "Thus with violence the great city Babylon shall be thrown down, and shall not be found anymore.
Actually, God sees our neck. He longs to adorn our neck with spiritual adornment or chains. It is through worship prayerbecause the neck refers to worship prayer.
Song of Solomon 1:10
1:10 Your cheeks are lovely with ornaments, Your neck with chains of gold.
Worship prayer is the process of tearing or crucifying the flesh with all its lusts, so our mouth can worship God, call the name of Jesus and glorify God. Fasting prayer is the process to hasten the process of tearing the flesh.
Worshipping and fasting, we are appreciating the sacrifice of Christ and exalting His cross. As a result, God will adorn our neck with two kinds of spiritual chains or adornment as follows.
Peter denied Jesus three times as follows.
- [Verse 69-70] Peter denied Jesus of Galilee. It equals to denial to the calling and election of God.
- [Verse 71-72] Peter denied Jesus of Nazareth. It equals to denial to the true teaching Word and shepherding. Peter became as a branch which does not dwell in the true Vine, there is no fruit but dryness and eternal perdition in fire.
- [Verse 73-75] Peter denied Jesus with swearing and cursing.

6:23 For the commandment is a lamp, And the law a light; Reproofs of instruction are the way of life,
6:24 To keep you from the evil woman, From the flattering tongue of a seductress.
We are burning our sins when we receive the rebuke of the Word. On the contrary, rejecting the Word equals to burning his own self.
The process of being adorned with the chains of the true teaching Word is through hearing it seriously, understanding and believing in it until we obey it.
The result will be real as follows.- Teaching Word becomes our lamp, so we do not stumble and lose our ways and we do not become stumbling-block.
- Teaching Word becomes the way of life from now in the world (it gives solution from all problems and beautiful future life) up to eternal life forever.
- Teaching Word sanctifies us from the sins of Babylon, namely sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage. Be alert! The sins of Babylon prey holy people.
- Teaching Word becomes our lamp, so we do not stumble and lose our ways and we do not become stumbling-block.
- The chains of God’s lovingkindness.
Proverbs 3:3
3:3 Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart,
Psalm 17:7-8
17:7 Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand, O You who save those who trust in You From those who rise up against them.
17:8 Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings,
His mercy or lovingkindness is marvelous to perform miracles for us.
The result is as follows.- God’s marvelous lovingkindness covers us as the two wings of a great eagle that cover the young.
Meaning God’s marvelous lovingkindness preserves us as the apple of His eye in the midst of difficulties and impossibilities in the world. His mercy protects us from disaster and the attack of Satan in many kinds, from antichrist who reigns over the world for three years and half even we are protected from the judgment of God as if we are the apple of His eye. - God’s marvelous lovingkindness performs miracle physically. Impossible problems can be made possible. All problems are settled by Him.
- God’s marvelous lovingkindness performs miracle spiritually. We are renewed from carnal man to spiritual one as Jesus is, from mortar pot to gold one. The life renewal begins from obedience.
The steps of our life are the steps of miracle, up to the last miracle when Jesus comes a second time that we are renewed to become as glorious as Jesus is.
