Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 11:6
11:6. These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain fallsin the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire.
These are the powers of the two testifiers as follows:
- The power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls. This is the power of Elijah that is explained in General Service in Malang, April 26, 2020 up to Prayer Service in Malang, April 30, 2020.
- The power over waters to turn them to blood. This is the power of Moses that is explained in General Service in Malang, May 3, 2020).
ad. 2. The power of MosesThe waters that turned into blood was the first plague from God to Pharaoh and Egypt.
Exodus 7:16-177:16. And you shall say to him, 'The Lord God of the Hebrews has sent me to you, saying, "Let My people go, that they may serve Me in the wilderness"; but indeed, until now you would not hear!
7:17. Thus says the Lord: "By this you shall know that I am the Lord. Behold, I will strike the waters which are in the river with the rod that is in my hand, and they shall be turned to blood.
The first plague happened because of two reasons as follows:
- Pharaoh was not obedient to the word of God and didn't want to worship God. It is the same as being against righteousness or not loving God.
- Pharaoh enslaved the Israelites. It is the same as hurting and torturing others or not loving others. Beware! Don't hurt others in marriage, fellow Servants of God, and fellow brothers in faith because there is a plague for doing it.
So, the first plague happened because Pharaoh and Egypt had no love. It is the same as rejecting the cross or not appreciating the cross.
As a result, Moses struck the waters with the rod, so it turned into blood.
The meanings of water's turning into blood are as follows:
- Living in or enjoying sins up to the peak.
- Living in suffering, pain, or tears up to the spiritual death and perdition.
Therefore, we must appreciate and raise the sacrifice of Christ in order to be freed from the first plague.
The facts of appreciating the sacrifice of Christ are as follows:
- Willingly suffering to stop doing sin and not to live according to the will of sin, so that we can obey the will of God. We are obedient to God whatever the risks are. It is the same as loving God.
1 Peter 4:1-2
4:1. Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,
4:2. that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God
- Willingly suffering in service and ministry to God. We are faithful and fervent in spirit in service and ministry to God. It is the same as loving God.
2 Corinthians 6:4-10
6:4. But in all things we commend ourselves as ministers of God: in much patience, in tribulations, in needs, in distresses,
6:5. in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in fastings;
6:6. by purity, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by sincere love,
6:7. by the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
6:8. by honor and dishonor, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true;
6:9. as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold we live; as chastened, and yet not killed;
6:10. as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
- Willingly suffering for doing good. It means not harming nor hurting others, and not repaying evil with evil, but with goodness. It is the same as loving others.
1 Peter 3:17
3:17. For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing goodthan for doing evil.
The rod of Moses refers to the cross.
In the past, not appreciating the cross, the rod would be struck downward to the waters.
Nowadays, if we appreciate the cross or love God and others, the rod will be lifted up to strike the rock, and the water will come out.
Exodus 17:3-717:3. And the people thirsted there for water, and the people complained against Moses, and said, "Why is it you have brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our livestock with thirst?"
17:4. So Moses cried out to the Lord, saying, "What shall I do with this people? They are almost ready to stone me!"
17:5. And the Lord said to Moses, "Go on before the people, and take with you some of the elders of Israel. Also take in your hand your rod with which you struck the river, and go.
17:6. Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock in Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink." And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.
17:7. So he called the name of the place Massah and Meribah, because of the contention of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the Lord, saying, "Is the Lord among us or not?"
The rock refers to Jesus.
'
you shall strike the rock' = Jesus was willing to suffer until He died on the cross to give us water or the Holy Spirit.
Therefore, if we raise the cross, God will give water or the Holy Spirit to us. If not, the waters will turn into blood. It depends on our choice.
The functions of the Holy Spirit are as follows:
- To give the satisfaction of Heaven to wipe all the thirst and dissatisfaction in the wilderness of the world.
The dissatisfaction brings us to the sins of eating-drinking and the sins of marrying-giving in marriage, such as mixed-marriage, divorce-remarrying, and marrying-giving in marriage.
Let us ask for the satisfaction from the Holy Spirit. It starts from the satisfaction in service and ministry to God and in marriage, so that we are satisfied in everything.
If we are satisfied, we will always give thanks to God. We don't blame at others, but confess and forgive each other. Why do we fight? Because there is no satisfaction.
We don't need or want to seek for the satisfaction in the world that leads us to sins up to the peak. We are peaceful in marriage and in the shepherding pen. That's the place where we can find everything, even to be the testifiers of God.
- The Holy Spirit is able to create miracles.
- The spiritual miracle is the renewal of life from the hardness of heart to be meek.
The hardness of heart is the same as being doubtful to God or the Word and the power of God--"Is the Lord among us or not?".
Exodus 17:7
17:7. So he called the name of the place Massah and Meribah, because of the contention of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the Lord, saying, "Is the Lord among us or not?"
When we are doubtful and worry, there must be dishonesty and not believing or hiding something until becoming the den of thieves.
The meek heart means being honest and believing God whatever the risks are. We become the house of prayer and we are able to worship God.
- The physical miracle happens, from nothing to something to preserve our lives, and the impossible thing becomes possible.
- When Jesus comes a second time, the Holy Spirit renews us to be perfect. We become the great house of prayers in the glorious clouds. We welcome Jesus who comes a second time to be with Him forever in the New Jerusalem.
God blesses us.
