Revelation3:1-6 tells about the church in Sardis.
Revelation3:1
3:1 "And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, ‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: "I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.
Jesus appears as One who has the thingsas follows:
We are learning the first point, Jesus appears as One who has the seven stars.
The starin special meaning is the shepherd. In general meaning it means the congregation, the priests and the servants of God.
Thus, Jesus appears as the Great Shepherd who has the seven congregations or the leader and owner of congregations.
Acts20:28
20:28 "Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.
Jesus appears as the Great Shepherd because He purchased the congregation with His own blood.
Thus, the shepherd must persevere in shepherding, which is giving the food for congregation and raising the intercession prayer. If he does not persevere, he owes the blood that cannot be paid by anything.
The sheep also mustpersevere in shepherding, that is eating the Word solemnly. If the sheep eat the Word, they will be active in ministry. If they are not, they will be lukewarm until fall and perish forever. If the congregation does not persevere, they also owe the blood that cannot be paid by anything.
The duty of Jesus as the Great Shepherdor the leader and owner of congregationis as follows:

Psalm23:1-2
23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
23:2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.
God leads us to the still waters so we can live in calmness, rest, and the peace in anointing of Holy Spirit. If we live in calmness and peace, the resultsare as follows:- Everything becomes easy and light.
- The calmness and peace for facing the shake on earth, sea, and air so we will not be stressful nor afraid in the world, but we always give thanks to God.
Luke21:25-26
21:25 "And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; 21:26 "men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken.
- Everything becomes easy and light.
- The Great Shepherd leads us to the right way so we live according the righteousness of the Word of God.
Psalm23:3
23:3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.
Psalm5:12
5:12 For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.
The resultof living in righteousness is God will surround us with His blessing and mercy. We live in ambience of heaven eventhough we live in this world.
If we live in peace in anointing of Holy Spirit and in accordance withthe righteousness of the Word of God, we will get the two wings of great eagle.
Revelation12:14
12:14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.
The two wings of great eagle will fly us to wilderness that is far from the eye of Antichrist. We will be cared and protected directly by God for three and half years. The world will be ruled by Antichrist and those who want to live must worship him. - The Great Shepherd leads us to the living fountains of waters where there is no more tear.
Revelation7:17
7:17 "for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."
We are led to New Jerusalem, the last shepherding. It means we must experience the life renewal from carnal man to spiritual one like Jesus. It starts from heart renewal.
Ezekiel 11:19
11:19 "Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh,
The heart that is hard and evil will be changed to become the good conscience, the obedient or innocent heart.
1 Peter3:20-21
3:20 who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
3:21 There is also an antitype which now saves us––baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
Matthew3:16
3:16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.
The good conscience is the obedient or innocent heart that can be gotten from the water baptism.
Genesis1:2
1:2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
The obedientand innocent heart is like the surface of water or the zero point. It refers to the humbleness of heart that is the ability to confess the sin to God and others. Then our life will become the place of Holy Spirit.
John6:63
6:63 "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
The flesh without Holy Spirit is useless. If there is Holy Spirit , our life will have meaning. We really need Holy Spirit.
Romans12:11
12:11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;
The function of Holy Spirit is encouragingus to be faithful and fervent in ministryuntil the end line, which is until we die or the second coming of Jesus.
Titus 3:5
3:5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
Holy Spirit also renews us from carnal man to spiritual one like Jesus. This is the spiritual miracle, the biggest one. The tongue is changed so we can worship God with broken heart, we feel unable, unworthy, we feel nothing but only surrender fully to God. Until we can worship with other tongues.
Zechariah4:6-7
4:6 So he answered and said to me: "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the LORD of hosts.
4:7 ‘Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of "Grace, grace to it!"‘"
The physical miracle also happens. The big mountain or the problems will be made flat. The impossible problems become possible. When the mountain is destroyed there is guarante of succes and beautiful future.
When Jesus comes at second time, the mouth will not fail in saying but only cry out ‘Alleluia.’
Revelation19:6-7,9
19:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
19:7 "Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready."
19:9 Then he said to me, "Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’"And he said to me, "These are the true sayings of God."
We enter the spiritual miracle, the perfect one, that is the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. We continue to Paradise, One Thousand Years Kingdom of Peace. Then we enter the New Jerusalem, the last shepherding fold.
Revelation22:3-4
22:3 And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.
22:4 They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads.
We belong to God forever.
God blesses us.
