Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 5:5-10
5:5 But one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals."
5:6 And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
5:7 Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.
5:8 Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
5:9 And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll,and to open its seals;For You were slain,and have redeemed us to God by Your bloodout of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
5:10 And have made us kings and priests to our God;And we shall reign on the earth."
Who can open the scroll and loose its seven seals or the secret of the Word of God?
- [Verse 5] Jesus as the lion of the tribe of Judah or the Root of David that has prevailed.
- [Verse 6] Jesus as the Lamb of God that had been slain.
It means that Jesus must die on the cross to open the secret of the Word of God and redeem all of our sins up to the peak with His blood. Thus, the revelation of the Word of God encourages us to experience the redemption from sins up to the peak.
Why must we experience the redemption from sins up to the peak?Ephesians 2:1
2:1 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,
Because the sins up to the peak lead us to spiritual death. It is like a donkey whose neck must be broken after the birth. There is no connection with God or Head. There is no passion for spiritual things until we cannot serve and worship God. We are separated from God and destroyed forever.
Otherwise, the encouragement of the revelation of the Word that makes us free from sins up to the peak will make a good connection with God. We can minister and worship God. The neck of donkey will not be broken.
Revelation 5:7-8
5:7 Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.
5:8 Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
The true worship must be the reflection from the one on the throne of Heaven. It is signified by holding a golden bowl full of incense.
The color of the incense is white. It refers to the righteousness and holiness
. If we are holy, we can worship God.
Psalm 15:1-5
15:1 Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle?Who may dwell in Your holy hill?
15:2 He who walks uprightly,and works righteousness,and speaks the truth in his heart;
15:3 He who does not backbite with his tongue,nor does evil to his neighbor,nor does he take up a reproach against his friend;
15:4 In whose eyes a vile person is despised,but he honors those who fear the Lord;He who swears to his own hurt and does not change;
15:5 He who does not put out his money at usury,nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved.
The conditions to climb up the mountain of worshipare as follows:
- The deed is right and holy.
- The saying is right and holy.
- The character is the fear of God or hating sin.
- The heart is holy, namely there is no evil and unclean will, bitterness, envy, and revenge.
The evil will refers to the love of money that leads to stinginess and greediness. Being stingy means that one cannot give. Being greedy means stealing others' and God's by doing corruption, not paying the debt, et cetera.
The uncleanness will refers to the sin of eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage.
Psalm 96:9-10
96:9 Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness!Tremble before Him, all the earth.
96:10 Say among the nations, "The Lord reigns;The world also is firmly established,it shall not be moved;He shall judge the peoples righteously."
In holiness, we can climb up the mountain of worship. We fall down worshiping Jesus as King, the Bridegroom of Heaven with saying "Alleluia".
Zechariah 14:17-18
14:17 And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, on them there will be no rain.
14:18 If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the Lord strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.
If we, the Gentiles, worship Jesus with "Alleluia", the showers will come down from Heaven as follows:
- The showers of blessing from Heaven, so we can live in the garden of joy.
Ezekiel 34:26-30
34:26 I will make them and the places all around My hill a blessing; and I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing.
34:27 Then the trees of the field shall yield their fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase. They shall be safe in their land; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I have broken the bands of their yoke and delivered them from the hand of those who enslaved them.
34:28 And they shall no longer be a prey for the nations, nor shall beasts of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and no one shall make them afraid.
34:29 I will raise up for them a garden of renown, and they shall no longer be consumed with hunger in the land, nor bear the shame of the Gentiles anymore.
34:30 Thus they shall know that I, the Lord their God, am with them, and they, the house of Israel, are My people," says the Lord God.'
The results are as follows:
- The physical caring abundantly, so we can always give thank to God and become blessing for others.
The spiritual caring, namely we always live in righteousness and holiness and become testimony for others.
- The protection from God, so we dwell safely and peacefully. Everything becomes easy and light.
- The showers of Holy Spirit from Heaven.
Isaiah 44:3-4
44:3 For I will pour water on him who is thirsty,and floods on the dry ground;I will pour My Spirit on your descendants,and My blessing on your offspring;
44:4 They will spring up among the grasslike willows by the watercourses.'
The results are as follows:
- We are like the willows that are planted by the river of the living water. Even though we are small, but always strong and fresh. We minister in faithfulness and fervency to God until the end line, namely we die or until Jesus comes a second time. We cannot be pulled by the rivers of Babylon.
Psalm 137:1-2
137:1 By the rivers of Babylon,there we sat down, yea, we weptwhen we remembered Zion.
137:2 We hung our harpsupon the willows in the midst of it.
Without Holy Spirit, how great we are, we will be pulled by the influence of Babylon until we hang the harps.
Hanging the harp means as follows:
- The ministry becomes profession to earn the physical wage, so one cannot get the spiritual one.
- Stopping and leaving the ministry just like Judas Iscariot. If one stops ministering to God, he will fall in the sins of Babylon, namely the ones of eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage, until perish forever.
- The showers of Holy Spirit cleanse us. We experience the life renewal by the work of Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 5:1-2
5:1 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.
5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
Jesus is obedient to the point of death on the cross. We are obedient until the flesh does not sound anymore. It is a sweet-smelling aroma in front of God.
Isaiah 44:5
44:5 One will say, 'I am the Lord's';Another will call himself by the name of Jacob;Another will write with his hand, 'The Lord's,'and name himself by the name of Israel.
Jacob changes to Israel. Jacob means deceiver, but it is changed into honesty in front of God. Say "yes" if yes and saying "no" if no. Say "true" if true and "false" if false. It starts from being honest in the true teaching, and then there is hope to be honest in every way.
Being honest and obedient are the spiritual and the biggest miracle. If there is spiritual miracle, the physical one will happen. The impossible things become possible. It happens until we can greet His second coming on the glorious clouds with saying "Alleluia".
God blesses us.
