(To Coincide with Fasting Prayer Service Session III)Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Exodus 11 is about the tenth plague.
It is the last plague for Egypt when the Israelites come out from Egypt. It refers to the last days when the church of God comes out from this world and the world is punished by God up to perdition.
Exodus 11:9-10
11:9 But the Lordsaid to Moses, “Pharaoh will not heed you, so that My wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.”
11:10 So Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh; and the Lordhardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he did not let the children of Israel go out of his land.
When Jesus nearly comes a second time or the church comes out from the world, the sin and suffering will raise. This happens for the miracle of God is more revealed in life, such as follows:
- The miracle of renewal of life by the power of sword of God’s Word. It is from carnal man to spiritual one like Jesus.
- The miracles of punishment of God for the life that have hard heart until all the firstborn of Egypt die.
2 Corinthians 4:3-4
4:3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
4:4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
All the firstborn of Egypt die means the man who has hard heart that cannot understand or refuses the true teaching Word. It means one dies spiritually and enters the perdition.
Revelation 19:17-18,21
19:17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, “Come and gather together for the supper of the great God,
19:18 that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great.”
19:21 And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.
Revelation 20:10
20:10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are.And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
They will enter the feast of slaughter by the sword of punishment of God. They will enter the lake of fire and brimstone together with devil, and they will be tormented day and night forever.
Exodus 11:10
11:10 So Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh; and the Lordhardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he did not let the children of Israel go out of his land.
Pharaoh represents Satan. A lot of children of God are being possessed by Satan and refusing the sword of true teaching Word. Why does this happen?
Because of one is not firm, but doubtful in receiving the true teaching Word. Pharaoh sometimes can accept the Word, but next time he refuses It. At the end, he definitely refuses the Word.
1 Corinthians 2:3-5
2:3 I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling.
2:4 And my speech and my preaching werenot with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
2:5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
The condition of listening the Word of God is one listens with the power of Holy Spirit. Shepherd also preaches the Word with the power of Holy Spirit, trembling and fear. If one listens the Word in anointing of Holy Spirit, the Word will become faith in heart. We cannot deny the Word.
Do not doubt in receiving the true teaching Word because when we doubt, we definitely will choose the wrong way.
Do not doubt in following and ministering God in true teaching Word, because when we doubt, we definitely will choose the wrong path.
Do not doubt when we face the difficulties and suffer, because when we doubt we will be in despair, disappointed, leave God, and make our own way out that is not according to the true teaching Word. That is the dead end and perdition.
When we are in distress, we must follow the three patterns, as follows:
- David who represents fathers.
1 Samuel 30:6
30:6 Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the Lordhis God.
When David is in distress, he strengthens himself in the Lord his God. Thus, God gives victory to him.
1 Samuel 30:17, 19
30:17 Then David attacked them from twilight until the evening of the next day. Not a man of them escaped, except four hundred young men who rode on camels and fled.
30:19 And nothing of theirs was lacking, either small or great, sons or daughters, spoil or anything which they had taken from them; David recovered all.
Everything that has been lost will be returned and the destroyed things will be good.
- A woman having a flow of blood for twelve years who represents mothers.
Mark 5:25-28
5:25 Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years,
5:26 and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse.
5:27 When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Himin the crowd and touched His garment.
5:28 For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.”
The woman believes and entrusts herself to God (“If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.”). Faith added with the mercy of God will result in miracle. The physical illness will be healed. The spiritual illnesses such as decay and sins will be released by God.
- Daniel who represents the youth.
Daniel 6:10
6:10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.
Daniel faces the false teaching (worshipping the king) and impossible thing (the den of lions). He believes and surrenders to God so the hand of God closes the mouth of lions.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego also face the impossible problem.
Daniel 3:16-18,24-25
3:16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.
3:17 If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver usfrom your hand, O king.
3:18 But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.”
3:24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose in haste andspoke, saying to his counselors, “Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?” They answered and said to the king, “True, O king.”
3:25 “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”
But they surrender and cry out to God. Thus God accompanies and helps them. We can see God’s glorious face, we are changed little by little until we become as perfect as He is.
2 Thessalonians 1:3-7
1:3 We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other,
1:4 so that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure,
1:5 which ismanifest evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer;
1:6 since it isa righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you,
1:7 and to giveyou who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels,
Whatever our condition is, do not doubt to the true teaching Word, do not doubt when we face suffering. But we trust and entrust ourselves to God. God’s hand will work in our life.
God blesses us.
