Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 21:9-27 until Revelation 22:1-5 is about the New Jerusalem.
Revelation 21:9-1121:9. Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came to me and talked with me, saying, "Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb's wife."
21:10. And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
21:11. having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. The New Jerusalem means as follows:
- [verse 9] The bride, the Lamb's wife, namely the heavenly bride or the perfect church of God.
- [verse 10] The great city on a great and high mountain.
- [verse 11] The city that has the glory of God.
2 Peter 1:16-181:16. For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnessesof His majesty.
1:17. For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."
1:18. And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.Peter, James, and John were the witness when Jesus received the glory of God on the mount of prayer.
So, we can receive the glory of God or the New Jerusalem through the true worship.
There are only three gospels that write about Jesus who is glorified on the mount of prayer, namely Matthew 17:1-13, Mark 9:2-13, and Luke 9:28-32. The gospel of Matthew refers to Jesus as the King, Mark refers to Jesus as the Servant, and Luke refers to Jesus as the Man. That is why it must present Jesus in the glory of God on the mount of prayer.
The gospel of John refers to Jesus in the glory as the Son of God, so it does not need to present Jesus in the glory on the mount of prayer.
Matthew 17:1-217:1. Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves;
17:2. and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.2 Corinthians 3:18 3:18. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. The true worship which is encouraged by the true teaching Word in the anointing of Holy Spirit [Luke 9:28] will change us from glory to the greater glory until we become as glorious as Jesus.
There are the two opposing revivals on the last days as follows:
- The revival of Holy Spirit in the last rain or the building of the body of Christ that culminates to the prayer at the feet of the mountain. It is failed because of working without faith or obedience.
Matthew 17:14-21
17:14. And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying,
17:15. "Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water.
17:16. "So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him."
17:17. Then Jesus answered and said, "O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me."
17:18. And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.
17:19. Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, "Why could we not cast it out?"
17:20. So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
17:21. "However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting."
It is the same as working according to own will and not in line with the true teaching Word, so the revival is turned into the building of Babylon or the false church. It is signified with the epilepsy.
The epilepsy means as follows:
- The depravity, namely one is controlled by sins up to the peak.
- The disunity or destruction in marriage and children.
- Labors, heavy burdens, and curse.
- The impossible problem.
- His life is played by the fire of the lust of the flesh and the water of the worldly happiness and company, so he dies spiritually. He is not fervent in the spiritual thing. It continues up to the second death in the hell.
- [Matthew 17:10-13] The revival of Holy Spirit in the last rain or the building of the body of Christ that culminates to the prayer on the mountain.
The three disciples who are taken on a high mountain are as follows:
- James who writes the book of James. It refers to faith, namely those who have faith.
- Peter who writes the book of Peter. It refers to hope or holiness, namely those who have hope.
- John who writes the book of John. It refers to love, namely those who have love.
1 Corinthians 13:12-13
13:12. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
13:13. And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
So, the worship--being added by fasting prayer and all night prayer--is the process to tear the flesh with all of its lusts, so our faith, hope, and love increase. We experience the renewal of life from the fleshly men to the spiritual ones like Jesus, namely totally trusting and obeying God. It is the same as stretching out the hand of faith to God, so He stretches out His merciful hand to do the miracle.
As a result, the thing that has already been dead will be brought back to life by God. We experience God's power to take care of us in the midst of the difficulties of the world.
All labors and heavy burdens become peace, so all things become easy and light. We can live in righteousness. Our marriage becomes true, holy, and one. All of impossible problems are finished by God.
God blesses us.
