Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation9:1-12 is about the fifth angel that sounded, namely the fifth punishment from the Son of God for men on the earth.
Revelation9:19:1 Then the fifth angel sounded: And I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit.The sign of the fifth punishment from the Son of God is the star fallen from the heaven to the earth.
Isaiah14:1214:12 "How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! The fallen star refers to Lucifer or the angel who has fallen and become Satan.
An angel is the obedient spirit. If the angel falls, there will be no help, but he will directly become Satan.
Revelation9:2-59:2 And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit. 9:3 Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. 9:4 They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. 9:5 And they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man.The locusts and scorpions refer to the evil and uncleanness spirit.
Lucifer or Satan is followed by the evil and uncleanness spirit to torment men for five months. It will make men seek death but they will not find it.
Revelation9:69:6 In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them.Isaiah14:13-1514:13 For you have said in your heart: 'I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.' 14:15 Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit. Lucifer fell and became Satan because he wanted to be like God. It means resisting against the cross of Jesus or refusing the humbleness and obedience of Jesus on the cross.
Thus, Lucifer fell and became Satan because of proudness or refusing the cross and disobedience or resisting against the Word or the persona of God.
The proudness and disobedience are the characters of Satan. It happens in the church of God.
Matthew16:21-2316:21 From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day. 16:22 Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, "Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!" 16:23 But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men."For example, when Jesus told about the cross, Peter took Him aside. It means that Peter refused the cross. He became proud and disobedient. The fact found within the pride and disobedience is refusing to be shepherded.
After we believe in Jesus, get the salvation, repent, and enter the water and Holy Spirit Baptism, we must be shepherded in the three main services to God.
Or else, we will lose the holiness and anointing of Holy Spirit, so our spirit is dry up to being dead spiritually and denying God or becoming Satan.
Peter is a great servant of God but he could deny Him. We must be watchful.
Leviticus10:1-2,710:1 Then Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his censer and put fire in it, put incense on it, and offered profane fire before the LORD, which He had not commanded them. 10:2 So fire went out from the LORD and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.10:7 "You shall not go out from the door of the tabernacle of meeting, lest you die, for the anointing oil of the LORD is upon you." And they did according to the word of Moses. We must stay in holiness and anointing of Holy Spirit in ministering God. Thus, we must be shepherded in the three main services to God, so we are shaped to have the characters of Jesus, namely the humbleness and obedience.
There are two kinds of humblenessas follows:
- The lowliness of mind towards others.
Philippians2:3
2:3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.
Proverbs14:30
14:30 A sound heart is life to the body, But envy is rottenness to the bones.
If we minister God in humbleness, there are no envy and hatred.
Ministering to God in envy and hatred will destroy or rotten the body of Christ.
The facts found within ministering in humbleness are as follows:
- Considering the interest of others, so there is peace. Everything becomes easy and light.
- Looking out for the interests of others. We do not become egoistic.
Philippians2:4
2:4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.
Matthew25:44-46
25:44 "Then they also will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?'
25:45 "Then He will answer them, saying, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.'
25:46 "And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."
Looking out for the interests of others means giving to and visiting others who are in need, including testifying. The ministry starts from marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding, up to the perfect body of Christ.
Please remember, in every blessing that we get, there is the possession of God and others who are in need.
- We humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God.
1 Peter5:6
5:6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,
The strong hands of God are the ones of God's lovingkindness or mercy which is as strong as death. He is willing to die on the cross. But remember, His jealousy is as strong as the fire of hell. Thus, we must prioritize God.
The fact found within humbling ourselves under the strong hands of God is worship prayer that is encouraged by the true teaching Word. We confess that we are unworthy, sinful, powerless and we only depend fully on the lovingkindness of God. We surrender fully to God in facing everything.
As a result, God never deceives us. He stretches out His hands of lovingkindness which is as strong as death.
Deuteronomy7:7-8
7:7 "The LORD did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples;
7:8 "but because the LORD loves you, and because He would keep the oath which He swore to your fathers, the LORD has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
The lovingkindness hands of God are able to do the things as follows:
- Releasing us from the slavery of sins up to the peak, so we can live in righteousness.
- Releasing us from the influences of the world such as the business, happiness, and misery, so we can be faithful in ministry.
The right and faithful ministry is the one that satisfies God.
Luke17:7-8
The results of the ministry that satisfies Godare as follows:
- God will satisfy us. He cares for our life and makes our life beautiful and tidy.
- The hands of God are able to renew and change us from carnal man to spiritual one like Jesus that is being strong and of good courage. God will give the miraculous victory. The impossible things are finished in His time.
Zephaniah 3:15-17
3:15 The LORD has taken away your judgments, He has cast out your enemy. The King of Israel, the LORD, is in your midst; You shall see disaster no more.
3:16 In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: "Do not fear; Zion, let not your hands be weak.
3:17 The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."
- The lovingkindness hands of God are able to lift up and glorify us in time, so we can surrender fully to God. There is no anxiety. The failure becomes success and beauty.
1 Peter5:6-7
5:6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,
5:7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
God blesses us.
