Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 15:2-415:2 And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God.
15:3 They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: "Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints!
15:4 Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, For Your judgments have been manifested."The title: Prelude to the Bowl Judgments
Verse 2-4 = the two songs of victory on the sea of glass as follows:
- Verse 3 = admiration of the greatness and majesty of God for His works in our life.
- Verse 4 = the fear and honor for God who is worthy to be worshiped, and the truth of His judgment.
We learn about the water baptism.
Matthew 11:10-1511:10 "For this is he of whom it is written: 'Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, Who will prepare Your way before You.'
11:11 "Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.11:12 "And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.
11:13 "For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.
11:14 "And if you are willing to receive it, he is Elijah who is to come. 11:15 "He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
Who is John the Baptist?
- One who was beheaded or dead as a martyr.
Revelation 6:9-11
6:9 When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimonywhich they held.
6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?"
6:11 Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.
- The great man among men who has been sent by God to prepare the way for Jesus.
- The last prophet in the book of prophets and the law. After that, Jesus appears.
Mark 1:1-5,81:1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
1:2 As it is written in the Prophets: "Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, Who will prepare Your way before You."
1:3 "The voice of one crying in the wilderness: 'Prepare the way of the LORD; Make His paths straight.'"
1:4 John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching a baptism of repentancefor the remission of sins.
1:5 Then all the land of Judea, and those from Jerusalem, went out to himand were all baptized by him in the Jordan River, confessing their sins.
1:8 "I indeed baptized you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit."
"
went out to him"refers to believing.
John the prophet prepared the way for God. It refers to putting the four firm foundations for the church of Godas follows:
- The faith in Jesus as the only Savior.
- Repentance or one dies to sins.
- The true water baptism or one who has believed Jesus and repented or died to sin must be buried in water together with Jesus and arise from water with Him, so he gets the new life or heavenly life, namely living in the anointing of Holy Spirit.
1 Peter 3:20-21
3:20 who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
3:21 There is also an antitype which now saves us--baptism(not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good consciencetoward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
Living in the anointing of Holy Spirit refers to having the obedient heart. This is the straight way of salvation or living in righteousness.
Thus, the true water baptism saves the sinners.
- The Holy Spirit Baptism.
Be careful! A lot of church of God leaves the four firm foundations.
For example, one has faith because of seeing, not hearing.
As a result, the heart disobeys God and he becomes the serpent man. The heart is not straight but serpentine up to perdition.
Ephesians 5:25-275:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,
5:26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,
5:27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.
After one is drowned in the water baptism, he must be drowned in the water of the true teaching word especially in the bible study service.
Thus, the true water baptism sanctifies and perfects us. We become the bride of heaven who stands on the sea of glass mingled with fire to sing the victory song.
Matthew 11:15-1711:15 "He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
11:16 "But to what shall I liken this generation? It is like children sitting in the marketplacesand calling to their companions
11:17 "and saying: 'We played the flute for you, And you did not dance; We mourned to you, And you did not lament.'
"
marketplaces" refers to the world that we dwell for selling the old life and buying the new one through the water baptism.
If we still use the old life, the world market will become the place for the Antichrist for selling and buying.
Revelation 15:315:3 They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: "Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints!
There are two kinds of songs in the water baptism that are the same as the song on the sea of glassas follows:
- Playing flute. It refers tothe gospel word or the Good Newsthat tells about the first coming of Jesus in the world to die on the cross and save the sinners.
It is the song of the Lamb.
Jesus was slandered by the Israel, so there is opportunity for the Gentiles to receive the song of the Lamb, so they can be saved and live in righteousness.
Matthew 11: 19
11:19 "The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, 'Look, a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!' But wisdom is justified by her children."
- The song of mourningrefers to the song of Moses in atmosphere of the law.
The song of Moses should have made the Israel fear to God.
Revelation 15:4
15:4 Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, For Your judgments have been manifested."
But Israel was against God, and there is opportunity for the Gentiles to fear God.
Isaiah 11:1-3
11:1 There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.
11:2 The Spirit of the LORD(1)shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom(2)and understanding(3), The Spirit of counsel(4)and might(5), The Spirit of knowledge(6)and of the fear of the LORD(7).
11:3 His delight is in the fear of the LORD, And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of His ears;
Fearing God is the same as being filled by Holy Spirit with His seven manifestations.
The facts found within the fear to Godare as follows:
- Hating sins up to the lie. It means living in holiness.
Proverbs 8:13
8:13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate.
- Being faithful in ministry.
Joshua 24:14
24:14 " Now therefore, fear the LORD, serve Himin sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the LORD!
The functions of Holy Spirit for the Gentilesare as follows:
- Holy Spirit sanctifies the Gentiles until they become fragrant before God.
Romans 15:16
15:16 that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
The stench deed becomes the right and good one.
The stench saying becomes right and good one.
We are burnt by the Holy Spirit until we can repay the evil with kindness. Everything becomes good and the ruin is restored.
2 Corinthians 2:14
2:14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragranceof His knowledge in every place.
If we become fragrant, we will be in triumph in Christ. We win over the trinity of Satan, so we can live in holiness, the impossible problems are finished, the tears are wiped, and we bring the fragrance of Christ everywhere. We become the witness of God to bring the souls to Him.
- Holy Spirit gives the gifts, so we can be employed in the ministry of the building of the perfect body of Christ.
Ephesians 4:7,11-12
4:7 But to each one of us gracewas given according to the measure of Christ's gift.
4:11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
When Jesus comes a second time, we are changed to become perfect as He is to be worthy to greet His second coming on the glorious clouds. We are changed to be strong and of good courage. We never move back but always depend on Jesus. We sing the song of victory on the glorious clouds and the sea of glass mingled with fire, until we sit together with God on the throne of Heaven.
God blesses us.
