Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 16:8-9
16:8 Then the fourth angelpoured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire.
16:9 And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of Godwho has power over these plagues; and they did not repentand give Him glory.
The pouring of the fourth bowl of the wrath of God on the sun causes it to be the fire which scorches men in the world.
The sun that gives us warmth and life becomes the scorching fire. Nevertheless, they keep on not repenting, but blaspheme God until entering the scorching fire in the hell forever (verse 9).
There are five things which are condemned by the scorching fire as follows:
- Sins up to the peak like Sodom and Gomorrah.
- The priests or God's servants who serve to Him with strange fire.
- Ones who yield to intense craving. They always remembered Egypt and insulted manna.
- God's servants who leave the true service and ministry to Him.
- Ones who like oppressing others.
ad. 5.
Ones who like oppressing others.
2 Thessalonians 1:6-7
1:6 since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you,
1:7 and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels,
'
the burning flame of fire' = the fire of the glory for those who are lifted up on the glorious clouds, but the scorching one for those who are left in the world up to perdition in the hell forever. It is the same as glorifying those who are troubled and punishing those who trouble others.
2 Thessalonians 1:8-101:8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1:9 These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,
1:10 when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed.
Who likes oppressing?
- The servants of God who do not want to know or love Him. It means not loving others or having no love (verse 8).
- Ones who are disobedient to the Word or the Gospel of Jesus.
If one does not have love, he will not become obedient.
- The servant of God who has a form of godliness but he just looks for the physical interest, so he rejects the power of godliness.
2 Timothy 3:1-5
3:1. But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
3:2. For men will be lovers of themselves(1), lovers of money(2), boasters(3), proud(4), blasphemers(5), disobedient to parents(6), unthankful(7), unholy(8),
3:3. unloving(9), unforgiving(10), slanderers(11), without self-control(12), brutal(13), despisers of good(14),
3:4. traitors(15), headstrong(16), haughty(17), lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God(18: disobedience),
3:5. having a form of godlinessbut denying its power. And from such people turn away!
The power of godliness is the cross and the true teaching Word (the sword).
Consequently, one does not experience the purification and the renewal of life. He keeps becoming the flesh and blood man with its eighteen characteristics.
The facts of having no love are as follows:
- 'be lovers of themselves' means having no love or one does not love God and others.
- From 'lovers of money' to haughty' means not loving others.
- 'disobedient to parents' means being disobedient to the physical and spiritual parents. It means having no love.
- 'lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God' means not obeying or loving God.
Consequently, one will be marked with the triple six. He becomes the same as the Antichrist or the beast, namely oppressor, persecutor, and killer, so he is destroyed in the hell forever.
The oppressor can be in physical and spiritual things.
Be careful! Do not minister for the physical thing only! At last we will reject the cross and sword.
That is why we must experience God's love which is like the sun, so we can become obedient to the physical parents (the Court), the spiritual parent--the shepherd--(the Holy Place), and the heavenly parent--God--(the Most Holy Place). We do not become the oppressor. We are set free from the scorching fire, and we receive the one of the glory.
The process of receiving and having the love as the sun is as follows:
- Making peace. It means that we confess our sin with the broken heart to God and others. Do not sin after being forgiven! We also forgive others' sin and forget it.
Proverbs 28:13
28:13. He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confessesand forsakes them will have mercy.
As a result, the blood of Jesus washes our sins, and we must leave it. We will experience God's mercy. We become the servants of God who prosper or experience the spiritual satisfaction. We always give thanks to God. We do not need to look for the worldly satisfaction or bring it into the church.
1 Timothy 6:6
6:6. Now godliness with contentment is great gain.
The godliness with contentment will result in great gain, namely the two wings of a great eagle that evacuate us to the wilderness, far from the eyes of the Antichrist who reigns over the world for three and a half years.
If we do not want to make peace, we will not have God's love, so we experience the spiritual dryness. It is the great lost, and we will be torn by the Antichrist. We become the same as the Antichrist or the oppressor who will be destroyed by the scorching fire.
- The prayer, especially the fasting prayer. The fasting prayer hastens the process.
Matthew 17:1-2
17:1. Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves;
17:2. and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.
Mark 2:18,21-22
2:18. The disciples of John and of the Pharisees were fasting. Then they came and said to Him, "Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but Your disciples do not fast?"
2:21. "No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; or else the new piece pulls away from the old, and the tear is made worse.
2:22. "And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins."
The prayer means that we worship with the broken heart to see Jesus' face. Our mouth cries out to Him. Our hand is stretched out to Him, so we experience God's merciful hand.
The results are as follows:
- The renewal of life. Jesus' face and clothes are changed. In the fasting prayer, the wineskins and clothes are changed.
The face or wineskins refers to the heart. The hard heart is changed into obedience, so our faces beam.
The clothes are changed. It means loving God and others; even we can love those who make hostility toward us. We just do the good thing until we repay good for evil.
- The physical miracle happens.
Mark 9:23-24
9:23. Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes."
9:24. Immediately the father of the child cried outand said with tears, "Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!"
The father cries out, so the epilepsy is healed.
In the fasting prayer, all of impossible diseases are cured by God. The destruction in marriage and children is restored by God. The moral breakdown is changed into life in righteousness and holiness. The children become beautiful as well as please God and others. All things become beautiful in due time.
- 2 Chronicles 20:1-3,12
20:1. It happened after this that the people of Moab with the people of Ammon, and others with them besides the Ammonites, came to battle against Jehoshaphat.
20:2. Then some came and told Jehoshaphat, saying, "A great multitude is comingagainst you from beyond the sea, from Syria; and they are in Hazazon Tamar" (which is En Gedi).
20:3. And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fastthroughout all Judah.
20:12. "O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You."
The king of the Israelites wanted to fast. Thus, the matter of the Gentiles' not being willing to fast is an arrogance.
Jehoshaphat faced a great multitude. He had no power, and he did not know what he had to do. The only thing he could do was fasting.
Let us fast when we face a big thing. It is the power and way out of heaven.
The results are as follows:
- The impossible problems are finished by God's mercy.
2 Chronicles 20:24,21
20:24. So when Judah came to a place overlooking the wilderness, they looked toward the multitude; and there were their dead bodies, fallen on the earth. No one had escaped.
20:21. And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the LORD, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: "Praise the LORD, For His mercy endures forever."
We experience peace, so all things become easy and light.
- The carcass can become the great army.
It means that the sinner can become the priest and king who are used in the building of the perfect body of Christ.
We will be changed to become as perfect as Jesus when He comes a second time, so we are worthy to greet His second coming on the glorious clouds. We enter the One-Thousand-Year Kingdom of Peace (the upcoming Paradise) and the New Jerusalem forever.
Look at Jesus' face! Let us experience the renewal of life through the fasting prayer, so we obey and love God.
We bring our weaknesses to God.
God blesses us.
