To coincide with fasting prayer session IIIMatthew 26:14-16
26:14. Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests
26:15. and said, "What are you willing to give me if I deliver Him to you?" And they counted out to him thirty pieces of silver.
26:16. So from that time he sought opportunity to betray Him.
Exodus 21:3221:32. "If the ox gores a male or female servant, he shall give to their master thirty shekels of silver, and the ox shall be stoned. The chief priests as the leader of the temple of God gave thirty pieces of silver, which means the chief priests assumed Jesus as ox who likes to gore, against or hurt them. Therefore, Jesus must die.
Luke 19:45-48
19:45. Then He went into the temple and began to drive out those who bought and sold in it,
19:46. saying to them, "It is written, 'My house is a house of prayer,' but you have made it a 'den of thieves.'"
19:47. And He was teaching daily in the temple. But the chief priests, the scribes, and the leaders of the people sought to destroy Him,
19:48. and were unable to do anything; for all the people were very attentive to hear Him.
The chief priests made temple of God become market and den of thieves= being controlled by spirit of buying and selling.
The practices of spirit of buying and sellingare as follows:
- Being stingy and greedy.
Being stingy means as follows:
- Being unable to give.
- Too much computation with God in everything (time, money, etc). For example Judas had too much computation until he was replaced by Matthias. Judas wasn't counted by God.
Being greedy means as follows:
- To make everything legal to get money. Including to serve spiritual working, but to get money.
- Robbing others' right especially God's, those are tithe and special offering.
- Trading in the sacrifice of Christ.
It means being up and down in sin/keeping sin/keeping living in sin until the peak of sin.
The peak of sin is sin of eating-drinking and marrying-giving in marriage.
- Having mark of 666.
Revelation 13:16-18
13:16. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads,
13:17. and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
13:18. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.
His body, spirit and soul are flesh. It means, one does not experience renewal of life although having a form of godliness.
II Timothy 3:1-5
3:1. But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
3:2. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3:3. unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,
3:4. traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
3:5. having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
Being marked of 666 is keeping 18 flesh characteristics. The peak of resistance is being disobedient. Judas could be antichrist although he had been shepherded by perfect Jesus. "Who are we?"
Luke 19:4719:47. And He was teaching daily in the temple. But the chief priests, the scribes, and the leaders of the people sought to destroy Him,Why did the chief priests make the temple of God as the den of thieves?Because the chief priests refused the true teaching Word/without the true teaching Word. The temple of God which should be the house of prayer has changed to the market and the den of thieves.
THE MARKET. People always want to find the cheapest things at the market.
It meansas follows:
- Making everything cheap/allowing everything even if it is not in line with the true teaching Word.
- Having no responsibility.
THE DEN OF THIEVES.
It means a place for wicked and unclean spirit.
The market and the den of thieves made God lament or grieved. The more one serves God, the more God is grieved and it attracts the punishment of God to come to him/her and to the Church. Do not have the term "just serve!"
Jesus is the servant of God in the annointing of Holy Spirit that He always firms about two thingsas follows:- To firm to hold fast to the true teaching Word and He does not want to compromise with the chief priests/other teaching with all risks.
- To Firm to tell the true teaching Word which is righteous and sharper than any two-edged sword to sanctify the temple of God from the spirit of selling and buying. The temple of God has an original function, namely to become the house of prayer.
Thus, purification of the temple of God which like the den of thieves and the market= purification of heart which contains the spirit of selling and buying. If the heart is purified from the spirit of selling and buying, it will be filled by Holy Spirit to the fullness.
I Corinthians 6:19-20
6:19. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
6:20. For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.
If the heart is filled by Holy Spirit to the fullness, our heart will become
the house of God. We can serve and minister until we can praise, glorify and please God. If we please God, He will please us too.
Romans 8:26
8:26. Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Having Holy Spirit, we can become
thehouse of prayer. Without Holy Spirit, we can't pray, even degrade/malign people. Having Holy Spirit, we can worship God with broken heart. Broken heart means we just confess ourselves as mortar which is not worthy and unable, but only trust and and commit ourselves to God.
Examples of the broken-heartedareas follows:
- Hannah.
I Samuel 1:9-10
1:9. So Hannah arose after they had finished eating and drinking in Shiloh. Now Eli the priest was sitting on the seat by the doorpost of the tabernacle of the LORD.
1:10. And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to the LORD and wept in anguish.
Hannah had scowl, depression, stress and was unhappy because of problem about marriage and children. Hannah experienced impossibility because she was barren but Hannah became the house of prayer. God is able to restore marriage and children which have been broken, unhappy and gloomy to become happy marriage.
- Hezekiah.
Isaiah 38:1-5
38:1. In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, went to him and said to him, "Thus says the LORD: 'Set your house in order, for you shall die and not live.'"
38:2. Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the LORD,
38:3. and said, "Remember now, O LORD, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what is good in Your sight." And Hezekiah wept bitterly.
38:4. And the word of the LORD came to Isaiah, saying,
38:5. "Go and tell Hezekiah, 'Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father: "I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will add to your days fifteen years.
Hezekiah faced incurable disease. God is able to finish the problem even the impossible one.
- Mary.
John 11:32-35
11:32. Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, "Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died."
11:33. Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled.
11:34. And He said, "Where have you laid him?" They said to Him, "Lord, come and see
11:35. Jesus wept.
Mary faced Lazarus who had died and produced stench. Godisable to finish:
- Physical decay. We have beautiful and happy future.
- Moral decay, that is sin decay until the peak of sin. We experience the renewal of life to become right, holy and perfect life.
God blesses us.
