Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation7:97:9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throneand before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, "Agreat multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues," refers to the perfect bride of heaven who is worthy to greet the second coming of the Lord on the glorious clouds until they stand before the throne of heaven.
The conditions to stand before the throne of heaven are as follows:
- Wearing the white robe.
- Holding the palm branch.
We learn the second point, namely holding the palm branch.
It is connected with the last journey of Jesus to Jerusalem by riding a young donkey.
John12:12-1512:12 The next day a great multitude that had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, 12:13 took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out: "Hosanna! 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!' The King of Israel!" 12:14 Then Jesus, when He had found a young donkey, sat on it; as it is written: 12:15 "Fear not, daughter of Zion; Behold, your King is coming, Sitting on a donkey's colt.""A donkey"refers to the Gentiles.
"Jerusalem"refers to the kingdom of heaven.
"Young"refers to the life that always has renewal.
Thus, the ones who are employed in the building of the perfect body of Christ or the journey to the kingdom of heaven are the Gentiles that have always been renewed.
The ministry of the building of the perfect body of Christ starts from the marriage to shepherding, inter-shepherding, until the unity of the perfect body of Christ, namely the Israel and the Gentiles become one body of Christ.
The steps of a donkey in the building of the perfect body of Christare as follows:
- The step of purification. We must be holy to be employed by God.
- The step of totally surrendering. We must surrender to be employed by God.
The process of totally surrendering to Godis as follows:
- Casting all the care upon God.
Psalm55:22
55:22Cast your burden on the LORD, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.
1 Peter5:7-8
5:7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
"Casting all your care upon Him"is written two times. It means that we must cast the physical and spiritual burden to God.
The spiritual burden refers to the anxiety about ministry.
The physical burden refers to the anxiety in work, illness, marriage or mate, and future.
The anxiety means being afraid of something that has not happened yet.
The anxiety makes unrighteousness. If one worries about something, he will choose the short way which is not according to the word of God, sin, fall, and never rise anymore. He cannot be helped anymore.
The righteous have no worry because God never permits them to be moved. He accompanies them. If we live right, we shall never be moved nor fall.
The cause of anxiety is hearing the voice of lion or Satan who roars, namely gossips, terrible threat, and false teaching.
That is why we must watch that we do not hear the roaring of the lion or Satan so that we do not worry. We are not moved, but strong and of good courage.
The anxiety is the symptom of not being shepherded. Thus, we must be firmly shepherded or persevere in the three main services and obey the word of shepherding.
The shepherding word is the true teaching one that is entrusted by God to a shepherd to be preached regularly and continually as the spiritual food for congregation for spiritual growth and extra strength.
The forms of the shepherding wordare as follows:
- The prophetic word.
Amos 3:7-8
3:7 Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.
3:8 A lion has roared! Who will not fear? The Lord GOD has spoken! Who can but prophesy?
The prophetic word or the revelation of the word is the word that reveals all things that have not happened yet, but it will happen for sure, so we can prepare ourselves.
The prophetic word is the roaring of the lion of Judah that competes the one of the lion of Satan, so we can feel calm. We are neither worried nor shaken, but we strong and of good courage.
- The purification word.
The purification word or the sword of the word is the word that reveals all sins up to the hidden ones among the congregation.
If the sin is hidden, the presence of God as the High Priest is also hidden. It means that there is no ministry of the High Priest. The result is that there is no anointment of Holy Spirit; we never feel satisfaction or peace, but become spiritually dry, until we fall in sin.
If the sin is hidden, it will become cancer that attacks the weak part of body or one who is weak in spiritualityas follows:
- Mouth cancer.
2 Timothy2:16-18
2:16 But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness.
2:17 And their message will spread like cancer. Hymenaeus and Philetus are of this sort,
2:18 who have strayed concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection is already past; and they overthrow the faith of some.
The mouth cancer in spiritual meaning refers to the idle and useless word, lie, gossips, blasphemy (blaming the true teaching and correcting the false one), and the false teaching. Let us be careful to the false teaching. The example of the false teaching is refusing the cross and prioritizing the physical resurrection. The spiritual cancer causes one who is spiritually weak to die spiritually.
- Womb cancer.
Womb cancer in spiritual meaning is not experiencing the life renewal, but keeping the old life that is full of decay. It makes self-truth or the truth that comes from blaming others and God for covering the sin. It is the truth that is not according to the word of God. It only results in disunity.
Hosea 5:13-14
5:13 "When Ephraim saw his sickness, And Judah saw his wound, Then Ephraim went to Assyria And sent to King Jareb; Yet he cannot cure you, Nor heal you of your wound.
5:14 For I will be like a lion to Ephraim, And like a young lion to the house of Judah. I, even I, will tear them and go away; I will take them away, and no one shall rescue.
The cancer of sin must be purified by the roaring of the lion of Judah or the shepherding word that is preached repetitively, so we can live in holiness.
If we are holy, God will care us. We do not need to worry anymore because we surrender all things to God.
If we are not holy, we will not live in God's care, but in anxiety.
1 Peter5:7
5:7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
Psalm23:1
23:1 <<A Psalm of David.>> The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
"I shall not want"refers to the caring of God up to the abundance.
If we are holy, God will care us physically and spiritually up to the abundance. We always give thanks to God. The more we are holy, the more we are happy and cared until we give thanks to God. When we need something, God will provide until the abundant life in heaven.
- Surrendering the entire life to God.
Psalm37:5-7
37:5 Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.
37:6 He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday.
37:7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.
The facts found in it are as follows:
- "It is more blessed to give than to receive"refers to returning the smallest of God's, namely the tithe. Then, we can surrender our whole life to Him.
The tithemeans the confession that everything we have comes from God or because of Him only. It is our life guarantee.
The special offeringmeans giving for the work of God and others who are in need.
Acts20 : 35
20:35 "I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"
- Being in rest and quietness.
Being in rest refers to keeping silent and correcting our life. If there is sin, we must confess and repent. Then, we will be saved. If there is no sin, we must keep silent and do not defend ourselves. Then, God will fight for us.
Isaiah30:14-15
30:14 And He shall break it like the breaking of the potter's vessel, Which is broken in pieces; He shall not spare. So there shall not be found among its fragments A shard to take fire from the hearth, Or to take water from the cistern."
30:15 For thus says the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel: "In returning and restyou shall be saved; In quietnessand confidence shall be your strength." But you would not,
Quietness refers to controlling our life. We do not put hope on others or anything in this world, but we trust and hope to God.We must be quiet, so we can pray, surrender, and cry out to God. We stretch out our hands to God and He gives victory in due time.
1 Peter4:7
4:7 But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.
Psalm37:5
37:5 Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.
"He shall bring it to pass"refers to the thing as follows
- God calms the storm.
We feel peace. If we do not have peace, everything will decrease. The peaceful heart is the base for receiving the blessing of God. If heart feels peace, everything will become easy and light. We can be faithful and fervent in ministry until the end line or entering the New Jerusalem.
- God gives the miracle.
Job37:14
37:14 "Listen to this, O Job; Stand still and consider the wondrous works of God.
Everything will be solved by God. The impossible things become possible. The failure becomes successful and beautiful. The thing that has been destroyed becomes the vessel of glory. We are employed in the building of the body of Christ to glorify God.
Jeremiah18:4
18:4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make.
When Jesus comes a second time, we are changed to become as glorious as He is. We are worthy to greet His coming on the glorious clouds until we stand together before the throne of heaven.
God blesses us.
