Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 6:5-6
6:5 When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come and see." So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand.
6:6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, "A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine."
The opening of the third seal is the third punishment from Holy Spirit God to the world. It is the revival of the black horse to bring famine physically and spiritually, especially of the Word of God.The famine physically and spiritually attacks from age to age, generation to generation, up to the last days when Jesus will come soon at the second time on the glorious clouds.
The famine physically and spiritually attacks three agesas follows:
- The age of Father God. It is from Adam to Abraham or approximately two thousand years. It is represented by Abraham.
- The age of Son of God. It is from Abraham to the first coming of Jesus or approximately two thousand years. It is represented by Isaac.
- The age of Holy Spirit God. It is from the first to the second coming of Jesus on the glorious clouds. It is represented by Jacob.
Genesis 42:1-2,5
42:1 When Jacob saw that there was grain in Egypt, Jacob said to his sons, "Why do you look at one another?"
42:2 And he said, "Indeed I have heard that there is grain in Egypt; go down to that place and buy for us there, that we may live and not die."
42:5 And the sons of Israel went to buy grain among those who journeyed, for the famine was in the land of Canaan.Genesis 37:3
37:3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age. Also he made him a tunic of many colors.
Joseph was born at Jacob's old age. It refers to the work of Holy Spirit at the last rain or the revival of the building of the perfect body of Christ.
Famine happens to hinder the building of the perfect body of Christ.
The ways out are as follows:
- Joseph had dream two timesas follows:
- All sheaves bowed down to Joseph's.
Genesis 37:5-7
37:5 Now Joseph had a dream, and he told it to his brothers; and they hated him even more.
37:6 So he said to them, "Please hear this dream which I have dreamed:
37:7 There we were, binding sheaves in the field. Then behold, my sheaf arose and also stood upright; and indeed your sheaves stood all around and bowed down to my sheaf."
It means that all the Word of God must peak on the Bride Tidings. Joseph is described as the bride and the sheaf of Joseph refers to the Bride Tidings. Every ministry or spiritual activity must being led by the Bride Tidings, or else there will be famine.
- The Bride Tidings will increase our spirituality until we become the bride of heaven.
Genesis 37:9
37:9 Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said, "Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me."
Revelation 12:1
12:1 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.
- The brothers of Joseph bought the grain two times.
It means that we must receive the Bride Tidings two times for the things as follows:
- The first time to resolve the famine, but it runs out soon and we experience the famine again.
- The second time to enter the unity of the body of Christ. Benjamin joined, so the twelve sons of Jacob became one in Egypt. After that, there was no more famine physically and spiritually.
The process of unification of the body of Christ is as follows:
- 'Spoke roughly'refers to the process of purification by the Bride Tidings or the true teaching Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword.
Genesis 42:7
42:7 Joseph saw his brothers and recognized them, but he acted as a stranger to them and spoke roughlyto them. Then he said to them, "Where do you come from?" And they said, "From the land of Canaan to buy food."
Without holiness, there is no unification, but imperfection in the body of Christ.
Without holiness, we will go to Babylon.
2 Timothy 4:2
4:2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.
The process of purification is as follows:
- The true teaching Word shows the hidden sins, so we realize, regret, and confess them to God and others. After we are forgiven, we do not sin anymore.
Joseph wept and forgave his brothers.
Genesis 42:21,24a
42:21 Then they said to one another, "We are truly guilty concerning our brother, for we saw the anguish of his soul when he pleaded with us, and we would not hear; therefore this distress has come upon us."
42:24 And he turned himself away from them and wept...
- The true teaching Word rebukes us, so we repent, stop sinning, and return to God. It means that we die to sin.
- The true teaching Word exhorts us, so we can live in righteousness and holiness. We do not deviate and stray into sin.
- The process of redemption.
Genesis 43:8-9,11
43:8 Then Judah said to Israel his father, "Send the lad with me, and we will arise and go, that we may live and not die, both we and you and also our little ones.
43:9 "I myself will be surety for him; from my hand you shall require him. If I do not bring him back to you and set him before you, then let me bear the blame forever.
43:11 And their father Israel said to them, "If it must be so, then do this: Take some of the best fruits of the land in your vessels and carry down a present for the man -- a little balm and a little honey, spices and myrrh, pistachio nuts and almonds.
Judah became the assurance. It refers to Jesus from the tribe of Judah who willingly dies on the cross as the atonement offering for reconciliation in marriage, sheepfold, inter-shepherding, until Israel and Gentiles become one perfect body of Christ.
Ephesians 2:13-16
2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
2:14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,
2:15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace,
2:16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.
The process of reconciliation is that we confess and forgive sin one another. The blood of Jesus will erase all of our sins and our hearts feel peaceful. Everything becomes easy and light.
- The unity of the perfect body of Christ.
Genesis 45:4,15
45:4 And Joseph said to his brothers, "Please come near to me." So they came near. Then he said: "I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold into Egypt.
45:15 Moreover he kissed all his brothers and wept over them, and after that his brothers talked with him.
The unity of the body of Christ means placing Jesus as the Head. It starts from the unity in the marriage up to the perfect body of Christ. It is the same as placing Jesus as the Head or the Bridegroom of Heaven.
The resultsare as follows:
- Jesus as the Bridegroom of Heaven nourishes and cherishes us, just as a hen shadows the broods.
Ephesians 5:28-30
5:28 So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself.
5:29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishesit, just as the Lord does the church.
5:30 For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones.
Jesus gives meal, protects carefully, and cares with love.
- Jesus cleanses us two times with water and the Word until we are without blemish when He comes a second time.
Ephesians 5:25-27
5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,
5:26 that He might sanctify and cleanseher with the washing of water by the word,
5:27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.
God blesses us.
