To coincide with fasting prayer session IIIMatthew 26:17-1926:17. Now on the first day of the Feast of the Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying to Him, "Where do You want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?"
26:18. And He said, "Go into the city to a certain man, and say to him, 'The Teacher says, "My time is at hand; I will keep the Passover at your house with My disciples."'"
26:19. So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them; and they prepared the Passover.Matthew 26:17-19refers to
Passover Preparation.
Verse 17"Eat the Passover"= the feast of the unleavened bread.
It means our freedom from sins by repenting and being reborn (water baptism and baptism of spirit). Passover feast will increase and peak to marriage supper of the Lamb of God.
Marriage supper of the Lamb of God is our freedom from sin and world, that we can meet God on glorious clouds.
Verse 18'
a certain man' refers to anybody. So, anybody can eat the Passover.
It means, everybody gets chance to repent and be reborn until enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God. If we do not want to be released from sin, we will not experience the last freedom to enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God.
Itisjust we want or not!
Verse 19The disciples prepared the Passover. In the past, the disciples provided house, table, bread, etc. Now, our preparation is heart to receive Jesus as the Lamb of Passover that was slain.
Revelation 5:4-7
5:4. So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it.
5:5. But one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals."
5:6. And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
5:7. Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne
Preparing heart to receive Jesus as the Lamb of Passover that was slain means preparing heart to receive the revelation of the Word which is sharper than any two-edged sword.
Accepting the Word means listening, understanding, believing until practicing the Word. If we cannot accept the revelation of the true Word, it will conduce to weeping much until eternal perdition. This weeping is much more than being left by family, etc.
For many times, we cry for disease, being left by family, etc. That is normal crying, but cannot solve the problem.
These days, change our crying to become weeping to accept the revelation of the Word. This crying can solve our problem. Where there is the revelation of the Word, there is opening of ways in this world until the way to Heaven.
Hebrews 5:145:14. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
True teaching Word/solid food is useful to purify and renew our life from physical flesh to spiritual men= we are spiritually mature to reach perfection like Jesus.
Spiritual maturity is not seen from how long wefollow God, but is determined from purity and renewal of life.
The signs of spiritual maturity are:
- Hebrews 11:24
11:24. By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter,
Romans 8:7
8:7. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.
Being released from the lust of fleshthat we can be obedientto the Word with all the risks.
Hebrews 11:25
11:25. choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin,
Being released from sin, that we can live in righteousness.
Hebrews 11:26
11:26. esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward.
Being released form world and its influence, that we can be faithfuland burning in ministry.
People who are obedient, true and faithfulwill experience the power of resurrection of God for defeating enemy and barriers. Even Moses was allowed to die, but no one knows his grave to this day.
It means we are raised in the glorious body to gorgeous clouds.
- Hebrews 5:14
5:14. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Having exercised senses. One of them is tongue/mouth. Tongue/mouth is rudder of our life which determines the direction of our life's journey whether to Heaven or to hell. Good tongue/mouth is usedfor:
- Confessing sin.
- Praising God/testifying about the gospel of salvation and the gospel of the glory of Christ.
- Worshipping God.
There are 3 conditions to worship God, those are:
- Peter represented husband/man.
Matthew 14:30-32
14:30. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, "Lord, save me!"
14:31. And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?"
14:32. And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.
Peter was allowed to worship God when he began to sink. Sinking refers to being in doubt because of being driven and tossed by false teaching that destroys.
Sinking also refers to falling into sin that destroys and failures. If we worship God, God will lifts, restoresand makes us successful. God is not possible to deceive!
- Canaan woman represented mother/woman.
This woman faced disease, marriage and children that are destroyed and impossible problem (her daughter was severely demon-possessed).
Matthew 15:25, 27
15:25. Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, "Lord, help me!"
15:27. And she said, "Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters' table."
This woman called on the name of Jesus and justified the teaching Word.
As a result, there is peace in life and marriage.
- Young man.
II Timothy 2:21-22
2:21. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.
2:22. Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
Young people call on the Lord with pure heart to be released from youthful lusts. Youthful lusts are the peak of sin, those are sin of eating-drinking and marrying- being given in marriage. We are purified until pursue righteousness, faith, and love. The result is we are used in the ministry of the building of the perfect body of Christ. Until someday, when Jesus comes on second time, we become as glorious as God.
God blesses us.
