From the recording of Prayer Service in MedanRevelation11:1-211:1. Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, "Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there.
11:2. But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months."
Revelation11:1-2 [KJV]
11:1. And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.11:2. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. The book of Revelation is about the end times. There are two things that are measured by the measuring rod, the rod of the shepherd, the shepherding word as follows:
- The temple of God. It refers to our service and ministry to God as well as our life.
- The altar and those who worship there. It refers to the Golden Altar of Incense or worshipping God until the flesh does not sound anymore.
Those are measured and improved through the shepherding word. It continues until it fulfills the measurement from God or until the flesh does not sound anymore up to the perfection.
If the temple of God and the altar fulfill the measurement, we will experience the covering of the mercy seat. So, we are truly safe until the antichrist cannot harm us or even see us.
If we do not fulfill the measurement, we will enter the persecution of antichrist for struggling to fulfill the measurement of God, namely being beheaded or the flesh does not sound anymore.
It is better for us to struggle right now to improve our spiritual measurement up to perfection.
1 Corinthians3:163:16. Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
The measurement of the temple of God or our lives is to become the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit, not others. So, we experience the cover of God's protection from now on to the era of the antichrist up to eternal life.
But, we must be careful because there are other spirits in this world. One of them was found when the Israelites were about to go out of Egypt (the world), facing the locusts.
Nowadays, the church of God is preparing to go out of the world and meet Him in the glorious clouds. We will also face the locusts.
Revelation9:79:7. The shape of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle. On their heads were crowns of something like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men.
The spirit of locust refers to the spirit of war.
While the measurement of the temple of God is to become the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit or holiness, but in reality we face the spirits of locust.
The origin of the spirit of war is disobedience, so men rebel and it continues up to the great war.
Revelation9:13-17,20-219:13. Then the sixth angel sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
9:14. saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, "Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates."
9:15. So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind.
9:16. Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them.
9:17. And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone.
9:20. But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk.
9:21. And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.
The number of the army is two hundred million and the number of the victims is a third of mankind.
So, this is World War III or the great war.
'They did not repent' refers to the evil people who did not die in war and they actually had the chances given by God to repent, but they did not want to repent. They remained hard-hearted and did not repent from murders or hatred, sorcery, sexual immorality, and thefts, especially stealing God's and others'. They will be destroyed when Jesus comes a second time.
This war has happened before in the form of the locusts.
Exodus10:5-610:5. And they shall cover the face of the earth, so that no one will be able to see the earth; and they shall eat the residue of what is left, which remains to you from the hail, and they shall eat every tree which grows up for you out of the field.
10:6. They shall fill your houses, the houses of all your servants, and the houses of all the Egyptians--which neither your fathers nor your fathers' fathers have seen, since the day that they were on the earth to this day.' " And he turned and went out from Pharaoh.
World War III will escalate up to the war which happens all over the world like the locusts cover the face of the earth. That is the war in marriage, the shepherding, and between churches. So, we must be careful.
Who is involved in this great war? Who is the trigger?
- The servant of God who is disobedient to the shepherding word or the voice of God because of hearing the strange voices, gossips, or the voice of the flesh which feels greater than the Word.
- The servant of God who does not experience peace because of keeping sins, bitterness, worries, et cetera.
Nowadays, we must maintain our hearts to be obedient and peaceful in everything that we face.
Starting from marriage, if we serve with disobedient and not peaceful hearts, it is not building the body of Christ but destroying it or practicing lawlessness. Such thing has grieved the heart of God, pastor, and parents since long ago.
If one is disobedient and not peaceful, there will be a great separation up to the separation of two people in bed. One is risen, and another is left behind.
We must do the introspection in our life a lot through the sharpness of the sword of the Word. If there is the spirit of locust or sins, it must be thrown away so that we are neither thrown away nor separated together with the locust.
Exodus10:610:6. They shall fill your houses, the houses of all your servants, and the houses of all the Egyptians--which neither your fathers nor your fathers' fathers have seen, since the day that they were on the earth to this day.' " And he turned and went out from Pharaoh.
'
to this day' means that tonight we must make a choice between the locust and Jesus / the Holy Spirit. Let us choose the Holy Spirit whatever the risks that we face.
The heart that is obedient and peaceful is the place where the persona of Jesus or the Holy Spirit will dwell. So, we can fulfill the measurement of the temple of God.
The results are as follows:
- To dwell together in unity means being in one heart and one voice.
Psalms133:1-3
133:1. A Song of Ascents. Of David.Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!
133:2. It is like the precious oil upon the head, Running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments.
133:3. It is like the dew of Hermon, Descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the Lord commanded the blessing-- Life forevermore.
'the dew of Hermon' refers to the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
If the husband, wife, brother, and sister have one voice, God will command the blessing. We are blessed with physical and spiritual things, blessings in the marriage, up to eternal life forever.
- We experience the spiritual miracle. The Holy Spirit renews our lives from the fleshly man to the spiritual one like Jesus, namely being strong and of good courage. It means that we are not disappointed and hopeless, and we do not leave God. But, we are faithful and fervent in spirit in the service and ministry to God. We are obedient and peaceful, and keep on worshipping Him.
Titus 3:5
3:5. not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
If there is the spiritual miracle, the physical one also happens.
Zechariah 4:6-7
4:6. So he answered and said to me: "This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' Says the Lord of hosts.
4:7. 'Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of "Grace, grace to it!"'
The great mountain became a plain. It means that the piled up sins are solved. The impossible problem will be resolved and the problem in marriage will too. The Holy Spirit is able to resolve everything, and give us a successful and beautiful future. It continues until Jesus returns that we are renewed to be as perfect as Him. We are worthy to welcome Him who comes a second time in the glorious clouds.
God blesses us.
