Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 14 is about the seven sprinklings of blood in front of the Ark of Covenant to experience the last sanctification up to perfection.
Revelation 14 can be divided into three parts as follows:
- Verse 1-5 = the church's following Jesus as the Lamb of God (it is explained from General Service in Malang, August 15, 2021to Prayer Service in Malang, October 14, 2021).
- Verse 6-13 = the notice about the judgment (it is explained from General Service in Malang, October 17, 2021to General Service in Malang, December 05, 2021).
- Verse 14-20 = the reaping on the earth (it is explained in Bible Study in Malang, December 07, 2021).
ad. 3.
There are two kinds of reaping on the earth as follows:
- Verse 14-16 = the reaping of the wheat (it is explained in Bible Study Service in Malang, December 07, 2021).
It refers to the result of the sprinkling of blood or the last sanctification that is brought into the barn of kingdom of Heaven.
- Verse 17-20 = the reaping of the vine of the earth.
It refers to the consequence of the life who rejects the sprinkling of blood, so he must be thrown into the great winepress of the wrath of God. Thus, blood came out of the winepress up to the horses' bridles.
ad 2.
Revelation 14:17-2014:17. Then another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
14:18. And another angel came out from the altar, who had power over fire, and he cried with a loud cry to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, "Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for her grapes are fully ripe."
14:19. So the angel thrust his sickleinto the earth and gathered the vine of the earth, and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
14:20. And the winepress was trampled outside the city, and blood came out of the winepress, up to the horses' bridles, for one thousand six hundred furlongs.
'
the sharp sickle' = there is an angel who swings the sharp sickle. It means that these days are the last day to work in the vineyard.
Revelation 22:1122:11. He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still."
In the end time, there are two groups of people who will be reaped as follows:
- One who is righteous and holy will increase in righteousness and holiness until being perfect like Jesus.
This is the group of ripe wheat to be reaped into the barn of kingdom of Heaven.
- One who is unjust and filthy will increase in wickedness and uncleanness up to the perfection in it.
This is the group of sour vines to be reaped into the great winepress of the wrath of God until being destroyed forever.
Revelation 14:1814:18. And another angel came out from the altar, who had power over fire, and he cried with a loud cry to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, "Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for her grapes are fully ripe."
The sharp sickle in this verse refers to the punishment. But in verse 14, the sickle refers to the Word for sanctification.
So, the Word can be useful for sanctification, but it becomes punishment when you reject it.
'
another angel came out from the altar' refers to the Altar of Burnt Offerings = Jesus had to drink the sour wine to make propitiation for the sins of Abraham's descendants spiritually, so that they could repent and live in righteousness.
Hebrews 2:14-172:14. Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,
2:15. and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
2:16. For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham.
2:17. Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.
'
had power over fire' = Jesus had power over things as follows:
- The fire of punishment if one still produces the sour grapes.
- The fire of affliction to renew the sinful life to become perfect one like Jesus.
Thus, Jesus appears as the High Priest who makes propitiation for the sins of the people.
Therefore, we must experience the ministry of reconciliation by Jesus in order to produce good grapes as follows:
- We must make peace with God and others or come to the Altar of Burnt Offering or the cross.
2 Corinthians 5:18-21
5:18. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,
5:19. that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
5:20. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.
5:21. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
The facts found in it are as follows:
- To confess sin to God and not committing sin anymore.
- To confess sin and forgive others.
As a result, the blood of Jesus washes away all our sins, so there is no trace of sins anymore, and it is no longer counted. We can repent and live in righteousness, so we are saved and blessed by God with the blessing of Abraham, namely the blessing upon our children and grandchildren and we become a blessing to others.
- We are renewed.
2 Corinthians 5:17
5:17. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
The process is through the fire of affliction or the sprinkling of blood, namely the suffering of the flesh because of Jesus to burn the flesh with all its desires and character. So, it becomes fragrant smoke before God, namely being obedient until the flesh does not speak anymore.
1 Corinthians 7:19
7:19. Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping the commandments of Godis what matters.
'Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing' = Being Israelites or Gentiles is not important, but being obedient until the flesh does not speak anymore is what matters.
Be aware! The spirit of disobedience wanders to rule over us in the service and ministry to God when we are blessed or experience the sprinkling of blood.
The example in the Old Testament is Saul who was not obedient when he was blessed and when he was oppressed.
The example in the New Testament is Peter.
John 21:3,721:3. Simon Peter said to them, "I am going fishing."They said to him, "We are going with you also." They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing.
21:7. Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, "It is the Lord!" Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it), and plunged into the sea.
Peter was not obedient, so he turned back from a fisher of men to a fisherman.
When we face the sprinkling of blood, we must be careful for two things as follows:
- Losing faith, so we use logic in the service and ministry to God. This causes us stumble and become lost.
- Disobedience.
From a fisher of men to a fisherman means as follows:
- They only boast the physical matters in the ministry to God, thus losing its spiritual value. They no longer rely on the anointing of the Holy Spirit, so they become dry spiritually.
- They become unfaithful and even leave the service and ministry to God to seek the fleshly things.
- To serve and minister to God but it does not according to the true teaching Word. It is the same as evildoers.
The consequences are as follows:
- 'they caught nothing' = failing miserably = not yielding fruits = they do not change. This is a sour grape.
- 'he had removed it' = being naked to be thrown to hell forever. This is an evil and unclean life.
John 21:5-6,1121:5. Then Jesus said to them, "Children, have you any food?"They answered Him, "No."
21:6. nd He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish.
21:11. Simon Peter went up and dragged the net to land, full of large fish, one hundred and fifty-three; and although there were so many, the net was not broken.
The way of Jesus to help us is through preaching the true teaching Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword. It is able to sanctify us as follows:
- It starts with the sanctification of the heart.
'Children, have you any food?' = the sanctification of the heart, so that we can be honest in the teaching Word, in confessing sin, and in everything.
- 'Cast the net on the right side of the boat' = the sanctification of the mind, so we can be obedient until the flesh does not speak anymore. Our eyes are fixed only on Jesus as the High Priest, and He stretches out His faithful and merciful hands.
153 = 1+5+3 = 9 = The number of grace. We live in the hands of the High Priest.
If the heart and mind are holy, then the whole life is also holy.
The results are as follows:
- The power of creation from nothing to many fish.
It refers to the power of protection and preservation from God in the midst of the difficulties of the world until the time of the antichrist rulilng over the earth.
From no wine to sweet wine = the happiness in marriage.
- The power of sanctification to cover all our nakedness. We are brought into the shepherding pen or the Holy Place. Peter used to be shepherded and he was obedient to the point of being willing to die for God.
John 21:18-19
21:18. Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish."
21:19. This He spoke, signifying by what death he would glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He said to him, "Follow Me."
2 Corinthians 10:6
10:6. and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.
By being obedient and living in holiness, the help from God will be revealed.
Hebrews 2:17-18
2:17. Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.
2:18. For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.
The impossible one becomes possible.
Men first brought earrings, which means being obedient and living in holiness. Men become the head, so that they are used in the ministry of building the Tabernacle or the perfect body of Christ.
Exodus 35:21-22
35:21. Then everyone came whose heart was stirred, and everyone whose spirit was willing, and they brought the Lord's offering for the work of the tabernacle of meeting, for all its service, and for the holy garments.
35:22. They came, both menand women, as many as had a willing heart, and brought earringsand nose rings, rings and necklaces, all jewelry of gold, that is, every man who made an offering of gold to the Lord.
If women want to be the head, they are making a golden calf instead.
Exodus 32:2,4
32:2. And Aaron said to them, "Break off the golden earrings which are in the ears of your wives, your sons, and your daughters, and bring them to me."
32:4. And he received the gold from their hand, and he fashioned it with an engraving tool, and made a molded calf.
Exodus 35:22
35:22. They came, both men and women, as many as had a willing heart, and brought earrings and nose rings, rings and necklaces, all jewelry of gold, that is, every man who made an offeringof gold to the Lord.
The offering for the edifying of the perfect body of Christ is the same as the wave offering or like the baby in the arms of God's mercy or as John who leaned on Jesus' breast.
John 21:20,22
21:20. Then Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who also had leaned on His breast at the supper, and said, "Lord, who is the one who betrays You?"
21:22. Jesus said to him, "If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you? You follow Me."
If there is nothing we can do, we only cry until mercy comes down and miracles happen. Our life and death are in the hands of God.
When Jesus comes a second time, we will be renewed to be perfect like Him to be worthy in welcoming Him on the glorious clouds. We enter Paradise and the New Jerusalem forever.
God blesses us.
