Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Exodus 2:1-3
2:1 And a man of the house of Levi went and took as wife a daughter of Levi. 2:2 So the woman conceived and bore a son. And when she saw that he was a beautiful child, she hid him three months. 2:3 But when she could no longer hide him, she took an ark of bulrushes for him, daubed it with asphalt and pitch, put the child in it, and laid it in the reeds by the river's bank.
Moses was a beautiful child.
It means that we must experience the renewal of life, so we are saved, blessed, and employed by God. The process is signified by the blood, water, and spirit.
The sign of blood means believing in Jesus as the only savior and repentance.
The sign of water means the water baptism.
The sign of spirit means the Holy Spirit baptism.
Thus, we must experience the life renewal from water and spirit, so we receive the new life or live in righteousness. We are saved, blessed, and employed by God as the weapon of righteousness.
Even though Moses was born as a beautiful child, still he was pursued by Pharaoh to be killed. Likewise,
even though we are a new born baby already, saved, employed, and blessed by God, Satan still pursues us with the power of death. There are the impossible temptations, the sins up to the peak, the false teachings, hatred, persecution, until the massacre at the days of Antichrist who reigns on earth for three and a half years.
In the book of Exodus, God gives the way out from death as follows:
- [Exodus 2:2] Moses was hid for three months.
- [Exodus 2:3] Moses was thrown in the Nile river.
We learn the second point, namely Moses was thrown in the Nile river.
It refers to the death experience or the wisdom and power of God which are higher than logic or knowledge in the world.Hebrews 2:14-15
2:14 Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, 2:15 and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
1 Corinthians 1:23-241:23 but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, 1:24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
If those verses are combined, the meaning is that Jesus Christ who has died on the cross is the power of God and the wisdom of God to defeat the death. If the death is defeated, all our enemies are also defeated. He is the power and the wisdom of God to release us from the death, save, bless, and employ our life as the weapon of righteousness.
The true ministry must be signified by the cross or the death experience. We must enter the narrow door to be set free from the death. It means entering the door of the kingdom of heaven. The ministry without the cross will please flesh like entering the wide door, but it is controlled by the death towards perdition forever.
The facts found within the cross or the death experiences in our daily life areas follows:
- Willingly suffering in flesh to stop sinning and return to God and do the will of God or be obedient.
1 Peter 4:1-2
4:1 Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,
4:2 that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.
1 Peter 1:22
1:22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,
If we obey the will of God, we can live in holiness. We can love one another sincerely. We can love our enemies or repay good for evil.
Ephesians 4:11-12
4:11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
If we live in holiness and love each other, we will be equipped with the ministry and the gift of Holy Spirit or the beautiful robe. Thus, we are employed in the ministry of the building of the perfect body of Christ. It starts from marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding, until the perfect body of Christ is formed.
The result is that our life is arranged neatly and beautifully.
Being neat means that we cannot serve God carelessly. It starts from marriage. If our life is neat, it will be beautiful.
- Willingly suffering without any sins.
1 Peter 4:12-14
4:12 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;
4:13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ's sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.
4:14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.
The facts found within it are as follows:
- Willingly suffering because of the gospel or the true teaching word.
2 Timothy 2:9
2:9 for which I suffer trouble as an evildoer, even to the point of chains; but the word of God is not chained.
- Willingly suffering because of the ministry, including one hour prayer, the worship prayer, and all night-long prayer. It also means willingly suffering because of being insulted, slandered, et cetera.
2 Corinthians 6:4-5, 8
6:4 But in all things we commend ourselves as ministers of God: in much patience, in tribulations, in needs, in distresses,
6:5 in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in fastings;
6:8 by honor and dishonor, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true;
Why does God allow this thing to happen in our life? He allows that to make the Glory Spirit or Holy Spirit come in our life.
The functions of the Glory Spirit areas follows:
- The Glory Spirit changes us from carnal men to spiritual ones like Jesus. We become strong and of good courage. We do not get disappointed or desperate. We do not leave God whatever the risk may come, even the death. We hold fast to the true teaching word. We are faithful and fervent in ministry until the end line. We feel joyful in the midst of sufferings. We always give thanks to God. We have beaming face for we believe and hope to God only.
1 Chronicles 19:13
19:13 "Be of good courage, and let us be strong for our people and for the cities of our God. And may the LORD do what is good in His sight."
If we are strong and of good courage, God will do what is good in His sight. The broken things will be restored.
- The Glory Spirit is able to make the physical miracle from something that does not exist yet to care our life abundantly. Thus, we always give thanks to God.
Exodus 16:7-8
16:7 "And in the morning you shall see the glory of the LORD; for He hears your complaints against the LORD. But what are we, that you complain against us?"
16:8 Also Moses said, "This shall be seen when the LORD gives you meat to eat in the evening, and in the morning bread to the full; for the LORD hears your complaints which you make against Him. And what are we? Your complaints are not against us but against the LORD."
- The Glory Spirit is able to make impossible things become possible.
John 11:40,43-44
11:40 Jesus said to her, "Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?"
11:43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, "Lazarus, come forth!"
11:44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, "Loose him, and let him go."
The Glory Spirit is able to finish all our problems. It continues until Jesus comes a second time. We will be changed to become as perfect as Jesus is. We are lifted up to the glorious clouds together with Him forever.
God blesses us.
