Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 12:312:3 And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads.
This is the clear appearance of Satan which is completed by the six activities as follows:
- [Revelation 12:4a] His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to earth (it is explained in Bible Study Service in Malang, November 24, 2020 until Prayer Service in Malang, December 03, 2020).
- [Revelation 12:4b] His mouth devours her Child (it is explained in General Service in Malang, December 06, 2020 until General Service in Malang, January 03, 2021).
- [Revelation 12:7] Fighting (it is explained in Bible Study Service in Malang, January 05, 2021).
- [Revelation 12:13] To hunt or persecute quickly.
- [Revelation 12:15] To cause her to be carried away by the flood.
- [Revelation 12:17] To make war or persecute the rest of her offspring.
We learn the third point, namely fighting.
Revelation 12:712:7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels foughtwith the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought,
Satan fought or rebelled in heaven.
There are wars and rebels in household and shepherding. Let us be watchful.
There are three steps in waras follows:
- Before war. It is keeping the peaceful heart (it is explained in Bible Study Service in Malang, January 5th2021 until Prayer Service in Malang, January 07, 2021).
- War(it is explained in General Service in Malang, January 10, 2021).
- After war.
We learn the second point, namely war.
Revelation 12:1112:11 "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
"they overcame him" refers to the servants of God who defeat Satan through the things as follows:
- The power of Holy Spirit(it is explained in General Service in Malang, January 10, 2021).
- The blood of Jesus(it is explained in Bible Study Service in Malang, January 12, 2021 until Prayer Service in Malang, January 14, 2021).
- The testimony.(it is explained in General Service in Malang, January 17, 2021).
We learn the third point, namely the testimony.
1 Peter 2:9-102:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 2:10 who once were not a peoplebut are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.
"who once were not a people"refers to the Gentiles who are called and chosen by God to become a royal priesthood through His mercy that is as precious as the sacrifice of Christ on the cross. Actually, it is for the Israel only who can become a royal priesthood.
The main duty of royal priesthood is "proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light"or testifying.
What must be testified? (it is explained in Bible Study Service in Malang, January 19, 2021).
- From darkness to light.
- Becoming the light of the world.
- Firm heart up to the glory.
We learn about the testimony of a Samaritan woman.
John 4:6-10,154:6 Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied from His journey, sat thus by the well. It was about the sixth hour. 4:7 A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, "Give Me a drink." 4:8 For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food. 4:9 Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, "How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?" For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans. 4:10 Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water."
4:15 The woman said to Him, "Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw."
This is about the condition of the Gentiles without Jesus or the Holy Spirit as follows:
- Thirst or spiritual dryness. One never experiences the satisfaction of heaven. Thus, he is always in weariness and heavy burden, toil, and tears.
As a result, he will look for satisfactions in the world until he falls in fornication through spectacle that is not good, sinning, up to the destruction in marriage and children.
- The bitterness of heart ("For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans"). It is envy, hatred, and revenge. This condition makes one cannot enter the building of the perfect body of Christ but he will enter the body of Babylon or the bride of Satan that will be destroyed forever.
It is not a coincidence that Jesus passed through that way because He wanted to help.
The way Jesus helps the Gentiles who are in suffering and going to perdition is as follows:
- Verse 7
Jesus greets: "Give Me a drink."
This is the saying of Jesus on the cross: "I thirst!"
Now, it means that Jesus willingly sacrifices anything until He dies on the cross to help the Gentiles who will perish.
Before He died, He had said: "I thirst!"
John 19:28-30
19:28 After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, "I thirst!"
19:29 Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth.
19:30 So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.
It was the time when Jesus received the sour wine mingled with gall.
After that, He said: "It is finished!", and He died on the cross.
Jesus received the sour wine mingled with gall. It means that He takes all sins, curses, and punishment up to perdition.
He is willing to sacrifice everything until He dies on the cross to save the sinner and give the living water of Holy Spirit (the sweet wine) --'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water."
This is the result of the gospel word.
- "Go, call your husband, and come here."
At that time, the Samaritan woman had no husband because she had had five husbands.
John 4:16-18
4:16 Jesus said to her, "Go, call your husband, and come here."
4:17 The woman answered and said, "I have no husband." Jesus said to her, "You have well said, 'I have no husband,'
4:18 "for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; in that you spoke truly."
This is the hard and sharp word of God that is sharper than any two-edge sword. It is the true teaching word that points the right and wrong marriage.
Thus, the Gentiles must receive the Good News and the Bride Tidings, so they will not suffer and perish.
The respond of the Gentiles who receive the Good News and the Bride Tidings must be as follows:
- "I have no husband."
It means that we do not love our life until we are willing to die.
If the people had known that this Samaritan woman had sinned, she would have been stoned to death, but she was not afraid.
John 4:17
4:17 The woman answered and said, "I have no husband." Jesus said to her, "You have well said, 'I have no husband,'
Do not love our life until we are willing to die! It means that we confess the sin truthfully to God and others, whatever the risk. Thus, we are forgiven by the blood of Jesus. We stop sinning and we repent (it refers to the Altar of Burnt Offerings).
If we repent, we will live in righteousness.
It means giving the sour wine mingled with gall for Jesus until He says "It is finished!".
He will give the new wine (Holy Spirit) for us.
As a result, we experience the joy of heaven.
- Being willing to receive the work of the true teaching word for doing the things as follows:
- Purifying our heart from bitterness as well as the will of evil and uncleanness.
The will of evil is the love of money that makes us become greedy and stingy. It means worshiping the idol.
- Purifying the marriage, so the broken marriage will become right, holy, and one. It continues to the one perfect marriage.
The true marriage according to the true teaching word means being blessed by God, parents, and government.
- Purifying the deeds, so there are right, holy, and good deeds. We do not harm others until we repay the evil with kindness.
- Purifying the saying, so there are right, holy, and good words ("You have well said, 'I have no husband,').
This is the place of Holy Spirit (the new wine), so we can testify.
John 4:39-42
4:39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, "He told me all that I ever did."
4:40 So when the Samaritans had come to Him, they urged Him to stay with them; and He stayed there two days.
4:41 And many more believed because of His own word.
4:42 Then they said to the woman, "Now we believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard Him and we know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world."
Testifying refers to flowing the living water to the dry lives, so they can be satisfied and saved. It means flowing the sweet wine to ones who have the sour wine mingled with gall, so they can be saved.
"Now we believe, not because of what you said"
Following Jesus, our testimony must increase to the personal experience together with Him. It is not from others' saying. It is the testimony that cannot be denied and we will not deny God.
After that, the mouth worships God in true worship.
John 4:23-24,13-14
4:23 "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
4:24 "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."
4:13 Jesus answered and said to her, "Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again,
4:14 "but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life."
Holy Spirit will not only flow to others, but He will flow to the mouth of God. It means satisfying God. That is the worship prayer.
Testifying and worshiping are the words of Bride. It means flowing the wine to others and Jesus.
Song of Solomon 7:9
7:9 And the roof of your mouth like the best wine. THE SHULAMITE The wine goes down smoothly for my beloved, Moving gently the lips of sleepers.
"Moving gently the lips of sleepers"refers to flowing to Jesus who slept at the stern of a ship in the middle of great tempest.
What is our condition nowadays? It is maybe like a ship in the midst of great tempest.
Let us receive the Good News trough confessing the sin and repenting, and receiving The Bride Tidings until we can testify and worship.
If the wine of testimony and our worship move gently to the lips of Jesus, He will wake up and this very minute the winds and the sea are in a great calm.
The result is as follows:
- Holy Spirit makes our life become easy and light in the midst of waves.
- All the impossible problems are finished.
- The ruin is restored, the broken things are fixed, the drowning is lifted up, the life that falls in sin will be lifted up to be justified, and the failure will become success and beauty.
- We are purified and changed until we become perfect as Jesus is. We are worthy to greet His second coming and enter the New Jerusalem forever.
God blesses us.
