Peace and grace in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew 28 refers to shekinah glory or the light of glory. There must be the light of glory behind the cross or death experience.
Matthew 28:1-10 is about the resurrection of Jesus. It means a renewal. Jesus is born in a body with flesh and blood but He rises in glorious body.
Matthew 28:1-2
28:1. Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.
28:2 And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it.
The light of glory shines the dark hard heart until it becomes meek, so there is renewal from carnal man to spiritual one as the angel or Jesus is.
What must be renewed?
- Countenance, referring to the renewal of five senses [Matthew 28:3].
- Clothing, referring to the renewal of deeds [Matthew 28:3].
- Feeling, until there is no fear [Matthew 28:4-5].
- Sight[Matthew 28:5-8].
Matthew 28:5-8
28:5 But the angel answered and said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.
28:6 "He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
28:7 "And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you."
28:8 So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word.
Our sight is renewed from physical sight to the spiritual one, namely the sight of cross to see or seek Jesus who is crucified.
- Service, ministry, and worship until they become true[Matthew 28:9-10].
Matthew 28:9-10
28:9 And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, "Rejoice!" So they came and held Him by the feet and worshipedHim.
28:10 Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell My brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see Me."
The sign of the true worship is as follows.
- Being encouraged by the Word of God in the anointing of Holy Spirit.
John 4:23-24
4:23 "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
4:24 "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."
The teaching Word in the anointing of Holy Spirit sanctifies our life until we can worship God.
The true worship is in holiness. The more we are sanctified, the more we increase in worship.
- It is for Jesus, the King of all kings, Heavenly Bridegroom, or the Head.
Revelation 19:1, 3-4, 6
19:1. After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, "Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God!
19:3 Again they said, "Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!"
19:4 And the twenty–four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, "Amen! Alleluia!"
19:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
The true worship must become a reflection of the worship in heaven, namely the worship with saying "alleluia".
- Experiencing the process of the tearing of flesh, so the physical fear can be turned to the fear of the Lord.
Matthew 28:9-10
28:9 And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, "Rejoice!" So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him.
28:10 Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell My brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see Me."
Isaiah 11:1-3
11:1. There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.
11:2 The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.
11:3 His delight is in the fear of the LORD, And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of His ears;
His delight is in the fear of the LORD means we breathe with the fear of the Lord. It is the peak of the anointing of Holy Spirit.
Satan is the ruler of the air. Meaning there are wicked and unclean spirits wherever there is the air. Such spirits want to make us fall through sins concerning eating-drinking, such as smoking, getting drunk, and drugs abuse, as well as sins concerning marrying-being given in marriage, namely sexual sin with all its kinds, remarriage, and false marriage.
Therefore, we must always live in the anointing of Holy Spirit and breathe with the fear of the Lord, so we do not fall in sin up to the peak.
The facts found in the fear of the Lord are as follows.
- Hating sin up to the lie. It means we live in righteousness.
Proverbs 8:13
8:13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate.
- Serving and ministering to God faithfully and sincerely (not for physical gain) as well as faithfully and righteously.
Joshua 24:14
24:14 "Now therefore, fear the LORD, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the LORD!
- Being obedient until our flesh does not speak anymore.
Ecclesiastes 12:13
12:13. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all.
For example, Jesus is obedient to the point of death on the cross. Be alert of strange voice causing disobedience.
Isaiah 11:1
11:1. There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.
The stem refers to something that is not precious, without any hope, and cannot be hoped. Furthermore, it is impossible to bear fruit but it is only burnt to perish. We can be renewed through the true worship, so we can have the fear of the Lord and be anointed by Holy Spirit. As a result, Holy Spirit will work to make the stem alive, so it can root, blossom, and bear fruit.
- Holy Spirit makes us root.
Spiritually, He makes us die to sin until we can live in righteousness and holiness.
Romans 8:13
8:13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
Physically, God commands the blessings to come to us, none may hinder.
Psalm 133:1-3
133:1. << A Song of Ascents. Of David. >>Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!
133:2 It is like the precious oil upon the head, Running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments.
133:3 It is like the dew of Hermon, Descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the LORD commanded the blessing––Life forevermore.
- Holy Spirit makes us blossom beautifully.
He gives us the gifts of Holy Spirit, namely the wonderful abilities to make us able to minister to God according to the ministry.
The ministry and the gifts of Holy Spirit are same as the tunic of many colors of Joseph. If we have it, we will have beautiful life before God although we are poor and powerless now.
On the contrary, there will be no beautiful life if there is no tunic of beautiful colors although one is rich and great.
God is beautifying our life through the ministry and the gifts of Holy Spirit until the most beautiful one we have in the clean and bright fine linen or the garment of Bride to welcome Jesus’ second coming.
- Holy Spirit makes us bear the fruit.
Galatians 5:22-23
5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
5:23 gentleness, self–control. Against such there is no law.
The love, joy, and peace are the image of Father God.
The longsuffering, kindness, goodness are the image of the Son of God.
The faithfulness, gentleness, self–control refer to the image of Holy Spirit God.
Holy Spirit is able to change our life until we have the image of the trinity of God. We become as glorious as God is to welcome Jesus’ second coming.
God blesses you.
