Matthew 26:47-56 is about 'Jesus' arrest' and it happened in Gethsemane.
In Gethsemane, Jesus experienced sufferings in the flesh without any sin until being arrested by a great multitude with Judas Iscariot as the leader.
At the last days, the Church will also experience sufferings in the flesh or sufferings in heart without any sin such as sufferings because of doing service and ministry to the Lord, sufferings because of righteousness, sufferings because of being slandered, et cetera. It refers to the time before the persecution done by antichrist happens until the time antichrist reigns over the world for three years and half.

We have to watch and prayso we can endure facing Gethsemane.
Gethsemane is not to destroy us but to make us become the witness of God to get His glory.

If we do not watch and pray, we will become false witness who denies Jesus even a traitor as Judas Iscariot.

Matthew 26:47-50
26:47 And while He was still speaking, behold, Judas, one of the twelve, with a great multitude with swords and clubs, came from the chief priests and elders of the people.
26:48 Now His betrayer had given them a sign, saying, "Whomever I kiss, He is the One; seize Him."
26:49 Immediately he went up to Jesus and said, "Greetings, Rabbi!" and kissed Him.
26:50 But Jesus said to him, "Friend, why have you come?" Then they came and laid hands on Jesus and took Him.

Judas Iscariot kissed Jesus to betray Him. It refers to hypocrisy or pretending and there is no seriousness, especially in receiving the true teaching Word.

Matthew 26:23,25
26:23He answered and said, "He who dipped his hand with Me in the dish will betray Me.
26:25 Then Judas, who was betraying Him, answered and said, "Rabbi, is it I?" He said to him, "You have said it."

Judas Iscariot always dodged from the true teaching Word.
Be alert, it can happen in the form of the hardness of heart, making a joke or being sleepy when hearing the Word of God.
The heart of such life is never touched by the true teaching Word, so s/he keeps hiding the flesh lusts, namely evil and unclean lusts.
Consequently, Judas Iscariot became same as antichrist, who will perish or enter perdition soon or later.

Judas came while Jesus was still speaking [Matthew 26:47].
It means one will become same as Judas if s/he has no seriousness but pretense in hearing the true teaching Word.

Worship prayer is a process to tear the flesh with all its lusts, which makes us hypocritical. As a result, we can be serious receiving the true teaching Word, meaning we hear it solemnly and practice it obediently until our flesh does not sound anymore.

The result will be real as follows:
  1. Genesis 22:12-14
22:12 And He said, "Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me."
22:13 Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son.
22:14 And Abraham called the name of the place, The-LORD-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, "In the Mount of The LORD it shall be provided."

Abraham was obedient until his flesh did not sound although he suffered in his heart without any sin. He struggled until he won and his feelings did not sound anymore. He was willing to give his only son, Isaac, referring to something that is hoped, loved, or something we are proud of, et cetera. If such things make us disobedient, we have to throw them away.

Abraham is the representation of fathers.

If we are obedient, we will experience the glory of God as JEHOVAH JIREH, meaning the Lord provides all things we need, he creates all things.

It is not only for worldly thing but Jehovah Jireh also provides or prepares us to become perfect Heavenly Bride who is spotless and worthy of welcoming Jesus' second coming.

    Revelation 19:7
19:7 "Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready."

  2. 1 Kings 17:11-13,15-16
17:11 And as she was going to get it, he called to her and said, "Please bring me a morsel of bread in your hand."
17:12 So she said, "As the LORD your God lives, I do not have bread, only a handful of flour in a bin, and a little oil in a jar; and see, I am gathering a couple of sticks that I may go in and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it, and die."
17:13 And Elijah said to her, "Do not fear; go and do as you have said, but make me a small cake from it first, and bring it to me; and afterward make some for yourself and your son.
17:15 So she went away and did according to the word of Elijah; and she and he and her household ate for many days.
17:16 The bin of flour was not used up, nor did the jar of oil run dry, according to the word of the LORD which He spoke by Elijah.

The widow in Zarephath was obedient until her flesh did not sound, so she sacrificed herself and her child. Our obedience must be increased.

The widow in Zarephath is the representation of mothers who are often egoistic.

The result of the obedience of the widow in Zarephath is the power of God's preservation for three years and half in the time of antichrist reigning over the world. It equals to the two wings of a great eagle.

  3. 1 Peter 5:5-6
5:5 Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble."
5:6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,

Young people must be obedient until the flesh does not sound. It is especially about the prestige of youth that must be sacrificed until the flesh does not sound.

As a result, there is exalting power by the mighty hand of God as follows:
    • To exalt us from failures, so we are successful in His time.
    • To exalt us from sins, so we are healed.
    • To make everything beautiful in His time.
    • To sanctify and renew us until we are perfect in His time, and we will be lifted up on glorious clouds to be glorified with Him.

Tonight God does not see our goodness or weakness but He sees our seriousness to obey the true teaching Word. We only lift up our hands to Him and He will stretch His hand to us.
God blesses you.
