Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ
.Revelation chapter 2-3 refers to the seven sprinklings of blood in front of the Ark, the last purification that God has done for seven congregations at the last age so they can be perfected, flawless, and become the Bride of Heaven that is worthy to greet Jesus’ second coming.
We are learning the third congregation namely the church in Pergamos.
Revelation 2:172:17 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.”’The promise of God for the church in Pergamos who overcomes or is free from the false teaching are as follows:
- The hidden Manna.
- A white stone on which a new name is written.
We are learning the first one.
Manna is the bread of heaven, referring to the Word of God, whose secret is opened, a verse explains another verse in Bible.
Manna is angle food, referring the shepherd Word.
There are three functions of Manna in Exodus 16:16-36 as follows:
- Manna for daily need [Exodus 16:16-21].
- Manna for Sabbath [Exodus 16:22-31].
- Manna for being kept in golden pot [Exodus 16:32-36].
We are learning the first function.
Exodus 16:22-2316:22 And so it was, on the sixth day, thatthey gathered twice as much bread, two omers for each one. And all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.
16:23 Then he said to them, “This is whatthe Lordhas said: ‘Tomorrow isa Sabbath rest, a holy Sabbath to the Lord. Bake what you will bake today, and boil what you will boil; and lay up for yourselves all that remains, to be kept until morning.’”On the sixth day, Israel gathers twice as much bread (two omers), that is one omer for the sixth day and one omer for the seventh.
The sixth dayrefers to the last age.
The seventh dayrefers to a thousand years kingdom of peace (the Paradise that will come). Thus, at the last days Gentiles must put effort twice to gather the true teaching or shepherding Word for the purposes as follows:
- Increasing the holiness and life renewal to be perfect like Jesus so we are worthy to enter a thousand years kingdom of peace.
- Living in peace that increases to the peak which is entering a thousand years kingdom of peace.
The meanings of peace are as follows:
- There is no afraid or worry because we hope fully to God.
Luke 21:25-26
21:25 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring;
21:26 men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
The peace is useful to face the shake at the last days, crisis in every level, so we will not be shaken, frightened, worried, but we feel calm and peace.
At the last days many people will experience the shaking, fear, stress, until die physically and spiritually; it leads to the second death, perdition forever.
- There is no evil, uncleanness, bitterness, envy, and revenge.
All sins are finished by the blood of Jesus.
The work of sin is death. Keeping the sin means fear by death and there is no calmness.
- There is no separation, war, quarreling with God and others. We become one.
Isaiah 59:1-3
59:1 Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save;nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear.
59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God;and your sins have hidden Hisface from you,so that He will not hear.
59:3 For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity;your lips have spoken lies, your tongue has muttered perversity.
The sin in heart and mind as well as sinful thought, deed and saying make us separate with God and others. God is unable to hear and answer our prayer. He cannot receive our ministry, so we wither and die spiritually, until we get the second death that is perdition in hell forever.
Matthew 5:23-26
5:23 Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you,
5:24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
5:25 Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison.
5:26 Assuredly, I say to you, you will by no means get out of there till you have paid the last penny.
The men who sin and keep the sin will be against God and fellows.
How do we get the peace? We must reconcile with God and fellows. It means as follows:
- Confessing the sin to God and fellows honestly. If we are forgiven, do not sin anymore.
- Forgiving and forgetting other’s sin.
If we reconcile, confess, and forget the sin each other, Jesus’ blood will finish our sin and we receive the peace from Holy Spirit.
Matthew 5:255:25 Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison.
"Agree with your adversary quickly”means we experience the work of teaching Word that is sharper than any two edge of sword that points our sin. We must reconcile immediately or use the speed of two wings of great eagle to finish the sin and receive the peace.
Daniel 9:279:27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;but in the middle of the weekhe shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominationsshall be one who makes desolate, even until the consummation, which is determined,is poured out on the desolate.”If we delay to reconcile, Antichrist with the speed of wing of abominations will snatch. The results are hatred, revenge, until we do not want to reconcile anymore.
Revelation 6:3-46:3 When He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come and see.”
6:4 Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that peopleshould kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword.
If one refuses reconciliation, he will enter the revival of fiery red horse. He cannot reconcile anymore until he experiences the sword of punishment of God.
Proverbs 21:2721:27 The sacrifice of the wicked isan abomination;how much more whenhe brings it with wicked intent! The ministry of the wicked without the peace is an abomination in front of God. Thus, they never experience the presence of God and reconciliation of the High Priest.
The ministry with peace will result the presence of Jesus as the High Priest and we will experience the reconciliation from the High Priest. The results are as follows:
- God trusts the reconciliation towards us.
2 Corinthians 5:18
5:18 Now all things areof God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,
We are employed in the revival of white horse, the one of Holy Spirit at the last rain, or the building of the perfect body of Christ.
God will equip us with ministry and the gift of Holy Spirit [Ephesians 4:11-12], through the laying on of the hands of the eldership.
1 Timothy 4:14
4:14 Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership.
We must not be negligent, unfaithful, and not fervent in ministry or else we are cursed. Do not leave the service and ministry for the consequence is perdition.
We are trusted in ministry of reconciliation that is bringing the peace, coolness, the fragrance of Christ through Good News and Bride Tidings.
2 Corinthians 2:14
2:14 Now thanks beto God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.
- We are on the way of victory together with Jesus.
All problems are solved by God, even the impossible ones. There is a beautiful future. The failure becomes success. The tears will be wiped away and there is joy.
- We experience the purification of body, soul, and spirit.
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
5:23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
5:24 He who calls you isfaithful, who also will do it.
We will be cared directly by God. The more we are sanctified, the more actual the caring of God is.
Until Jesus comes a second time, we are changed to become as glorious as He is, being worthy to enter a thousand years kingdom of peace until the New Jerusalem.
God blesses us.
