Matthew 26:62-64
26:62 And the high priest arose and said to Him, "Do You answer nothing? What is it these men testify against You?" 26:63 But Jesus kept silent. And the high priest answered and said to Him, "I put You under oath by the living God: Tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God!"
26:64 Jesus said to him, "It is as you said. Nevertheless, I say to you, hereafter you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven."
TRUE WITNESS and TESTIMONY.
Jesus gives us example that He is true witness who bears true testimony. He bore witness that He was Christ, the Son of Living God, and High Priest as well as King of all kings.
The Christ is One whom the house Israel hoped in.
Jesus confessed that He was Christ or He was King of all kings while the house of Israel only knew Him as the son of carpenter, so they considered Him as one who blasphemed God and deserved of death.
We, the followers of Christ or Christians, also HAVE TObear witness about the Christ or King of all kings whatever risk may come.
The practice is through being kings spiritually.
The sign of being kings spiritually is as follows.
- Revelation 20:4
20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
We have power to judge.
I Peter 4:17
4:17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?
Who must be judged?
We have to judge ourselves.
Judging the faults of other people, we are not spiritual kings!
Judging ourselves begins from these things.
- We dare confess our sins and faults, whatever risk or punishment we have to receive. For example, King David.
II Samuel 12:13
12:13 So David said to Nathan, "I have sinned against the LORD." And Nathan said to David, "The LORD also has put away your sin; you shall not die.
Actually, King David had a choice of not confessing His sin because only he, Bathsheba, and Prophet Nathan who knew it.
King David had to face the risk of being stoned because of his confession.
- We dare confess all our failures and destructions.
Do not like judging or blaming other people because of failure we get!
Judge other people at the time we face the failures will make these consequences:
- We face destruction more and more up to forever perdition.
- We will be judged by God to perish forever.
Matthew 7:1-2
7:1"Judge not, that you be not judged.
7:2 "For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.
Matthew 7:5
7:5 "Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
One who likes judging other people is a hypocrite!
WE CANNOT judge other people although he is false! Judgment is the right of God.
- I Samuel 16:1
16:1. Now the LORD said to Samuel, "How long will you mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill your horn with oil, and go; I am sending you to Jesse the Bethlehemite. For I have provided Myself a king among his sons.
Having the anointment oil of Holy Spirit or living in the anointment oil of Holy Spirit.
Leviticus 21:12
21:12 'nor shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the LORD.
Where can we get it?
We get it through our faithfulness and perseverance in shepherding.
Psalm 20:6
20:6 Now I know that the LORD saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven With the saving strength of His right hand.
The proof of living in the anointment oil of Holy Spirit is we always have victory over our three enemies as follows.
- Sin.
The proof is when we do not sin anymorealthough there is chance, advantage, or threat, et cetera.
- The world.
The proof is in our faithfulness doing our service and ministry to God whatever hindrance we have to face. Moreover, we have to face persecution when we want to serve God.
- Flesh.
The proof is we do not follow the flesh lusts.
Galatians 5:19-21
5:19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
5:20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
5:21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Not worshiping antichrist and not receiving his stamp.
We cannot see the stamp of antichrist physically. We can read in II Timothy 3:1-5that the eighteen characteristics are the proof of being stamped by antichrist.
We have to keep worshiping Jesus, the King of all kings.
Revelation 7:3
7:3 saying, "Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads."
The proof is real that we have the seal of God on our forehead and hand as follows.
- The seal of righteousness according to the faith.
Romans 4:11
4:11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had while still uncircumcised, that he might be the father of all those who believe, though they are uncircumcised, that righteousness might be imputed to them also,
The practice is we keep living in righteousness in all aspects of our life such as in our thought, saying, and deeds.
If we like to have prejudice of other people, we will not have the seal of God but the seal of antichrist.
If there are many our deeds which do not please God, we will not have the seal of God but the seal of antichrist.
- The seal of God’s Word.
We have to make all aspects of our life in line with the Word of God.
Revelation 7:4-5
7:4 And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty–four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed:
7:5 of the tribe of Judah twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand were sealed;
- The seal of holiness.
The result is as follows.
Revelation 4:9-11
4:9 Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever,
4:10 the twenty–four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:
4:11 "You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created."
- We have creation power of Jesus, the King of all kings.
He is able to create all things which have not existed yet, even He can create our beautiful future life.
- We experience the preservation power of Jesus, the King of all kings.
We are preserved physically as well as from disasters and diseases.
Luke 23:42-43
23:42 Then he said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom."
23:43 And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise."
- We have the power of sanctification until we are perfect to welcome Jesus’ second coming on glorious clouds.
God blesses you.
