Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 1:9-20 is about vision of John in Patmos Island.

Revelation 1:9
1:9 I, John, bothyour brother and companion in the tribulation and kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was on the island that is called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

John experiences suffering in flesh because of the Word of God (the Table of Showbread) and the testimony of Jesus Christ (the Golden Candlestick)that encourages to the true fellowship with God and fellows.

Suffering because of sin will scatter the true fellowship and lead to the false one which is the fellowship of Babylon, the Bride of Satan that will perish forever.

There are there important things in true fellowshipas follow:

  1. Fellowship in tribulation = the way of cross or the death experience.
  2. Fellowship in kingdom = the way of rise.
  3. Fellowship in waiting Jesus’ second coming = the way of glory.

We still learn the second one.
The fellowship in kingdom is the fellowship of priests and kings that have right to enter the kingdom of Heaven.

Priestis one who is holy and has ministry from God, standing between congregation and God to take part in the ministry of reconciliation.
Priestis also one who serves God according to the ministry from God. He is the servant of God.

Mark 1:6
1:6 Now John was clothed with camel’s hair and with a leather belt around his waist, and he ate locusts and wild honey.

The appearance of priest in overall is simple (it comes from simple heart), not showing the physical things.

The special appearance is as follows:

  1. Camel’s hairrefers to the anointing of Holy Spirit that is able to restrain the damage of wilderness.
  2. Using the leather belt.

Isaiah 11:5
11:5 Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, and faithfulness the belt of His waist.

The beltrefers to righteousness and faithfulness.
The leatherrefers to the Lamb of God that was slain or the sacrifice of Christ.
It means we serve God with righteousness and faithfulness that come from the sacrifice of Christ.
The righteousness from Christ’s sacrifice is we ministering God according to the true teaching Word though anything that we must sacrifice.
The faithfulness is ministering in the anointing of Holy Spirit fervently and faithfully.

Romans 12:11

12:11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;

The results are as follows:

  1. We minister God until satisfying His heart.
    Luke 17:7-8
17:7 And which of you, having a servant plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, ‘Come at once and sit down to eat’?
17:8 But will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare something for my supper, and gird yourself and serve me till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink’?

What we eat and drink, even our life and death are God’s business. We feel the satisfaction and joy of heaven.

  2. We are being employed in the revival of Holy Spirit at the last rain or the building of the perfect body of Christ.
    Revelation 19:11
19:11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on himwascalled Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.

We are free from the building of Babylon, the bride of Satan, the peak of wickedness and uncleanness that lead to perdition.

  3. The belt tidies and fixes our robe. It means as follows:

    • Jesus as High Priest is tidying our messy life.
    • Jesus as High Priest is fixing all our problems even the impossible ones.
    • Jesus as High Priest is making everything beautiful in due time.

      Ecclesiastes 3:11

3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.

In Spirit, we are changed from carnal men into spiritual ones starting from honesty. Until Jesus comes a second time, we will be changed to become as glorious as He is, the Bride of Heaven.

God blesses us.
