Mark 10:37-38,43,45
10:37 They said to Him, "Grant us that we may sit, one on Your right hand and the other on Your left, in Your glory."
10:38 But Jesus said to them, "You do not know what you ask. Are you able to drink the cup that I drink, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?"
10:43 Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant.
10:45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."
The wish of James and John is one day they may sit on the throne of God.
God shows two things as follows:
John 2:5-9
2:5 His mother said to the servants, "Whatever He says to you, do it."
2:6 Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece.
2:7 Jesus said to them, "Fill the waterpots with water."And they filled them up to the brim.
2:8 And He said to them, "Draw someout now, and take itto the master of the feast."And they took it.
2:9 When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom.
The characters of a servant are as follows:
God blesses us.

Mark 10:37-38,43,45

The wish of James and John is one day they may sit on the throne of God.
God shows two things as follows:
- The true Water Baptism.
The true water baptism is about the kingdom of heaven. It determines we will sit on the throne or not.
The condition of water baptism is being dead to sin and repentance.
The implementation of water baptism is like Jesus' being baptism or being dived.
The result of water baptism is the good conscience. It is the strong base to receive the blessing of God and to lift us up to the throne of heaven.
Exodus 30:19-20
30:19 for Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet in water from it.
30:20 When they go into the tabernacle of meeting, or when they come near the altar to minister, to burn an offering made by fire to the Lord, they shall wash with water, lest they die.
The true water baptism is the base for ministering God. For that reason, before we minister God, we must enter the true water baptism.
If one ministers God before entering the water baptism, he will be threatened by death. It means his ministry cannot please God but it makes sin. The more he ministers, the more he makes evil.
The ministry must be done with the good conscience. Without it, the ministry will make sin.
The ministry with good conscience will continue to the throne of God. - The true ministry.
Mark 10:44-45
10:44 And whoever of you desires to be first shall be slave of all.
10:45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."
The true pattern is the persona of Jesus.
To minister God in righteousness up to eternality, we need two things as follows:- The character of servant.
- The character of slave / dolos.
10:42 But Jesus called them to Himselfand said to them, "You know that those who are considered rulers over the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them.
There is a temporary ministry, namely the ministry of those who rule over as the lord.
1 Peter 5:2-3
5:2 Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly;
5:3 nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock;
The right ministry is in the shepherding system with the character of servant and slave. - The character of servant.

- Ministering in righteousness means serving according to the will of God or the Word.
The will of God is filling the waterpots with water. The implementation is filling the waterpots with water.
Matthew 7:21-23
7:21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
7:22 Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'
7:23 And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'
If the ministry is not according to the will of God, it becomes useless and will be refused by God.
1 Kings 13: 9, 7-8, 18, 26
13:9 For so it was commanded me by the word of the Lord, saying, 'You shall not eat bread, nor drink water, nor return by the same way you came.'"
13:7 Then the king said to the man of God, "Come home with me and refresh yourself, and I will give you a reward."
13:8 But the man of God said to the king, "If you were to give me half your house, I would not go in with you; nor would I eat bread nor drink water in this place.
13:18 He said to him, "I too ama prophet as you are,and an angel spoke to me by the word of the Lord, saying, 'Bring him back with you to your house, that he may eat bread and drink water.'" (He was lying to him.)
13:26 Now when the prophet who had brought him back from the way heard it,he said, "It isthe man of God who was disobedient to the word of the Lord. Therefore the Lordhas delivered him to the lion, which has torn him and killed him, according to the word of the Lordwhich He spoke to him."
Do not follow other's saying that is not according to God's command. - Ministering in faithfulness until the end line.
John 2:6-7

2:7 Jesus said to them, "Fill the waterpots with water."And they filled them up to the brim.
The will of God is filling the six waterpots with water. The implementation is filling the six waterpots with water.
It is about the priests. We must be faithful at least in two things as follows:- The faithfulness to one husband that is the faithfulness in one true teaching Word.
2 Corinthians 11:2-4
11:2 For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you asa chaste virgin to Christ.
11:3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
11:4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or ifyou receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted--you may well put up with it! - The faithfulness in the sanctuary of God.
Leviticus 21:12
21:12 nor shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God isupon him: I amthe Lord.
The sanctuary of God refers to the shepherding fold. There are three tools in it that refer to the perseverance in three kinds of main service, as follows:- Golden Candlestick, referring to the perseverance in doing General Service.
- Table of Showbread, referring to the perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with Holy Communion.
- Golden Altar of Incense, referring to the perseverance in doing Prayer Service.
- Golden Candlestick, referring to the perseverance in doing General Service.
The faithfulness must last until the end. Thus, we must hold fast the true teaching Word and persevere in three kinds of main service until the end line that is until we die or Jesus comes a second time.
To be faithful until the end, we must be faithful from now on in ministry from the beginning until the end.
Revelation 3:1-3
3:1 "And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, 'These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: "I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.
3:2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God.
3:3 Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.
The church in Sardis has the ministry but it is never done. The result is they are left and destroyed when Jesus comes a second time.
Acts 1:16-18
1:16 "Men andbrethren, this Scripture had to be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spoke before by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus;
1:17 for he was numbered with us and obtained a part in this ministry."
1:18 (Now this man purchased a field with the wages of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst open in the middle and all his entrails gushed out.
Judas serves but his ministry is never done. The result is perishing forever. - The faithfulness to one husband that is the faithfulness in one true teaching Word.
- Ministering in obedience whatever the risk may come.
John 2:8-9
2:8 And He said to them, "Draw someout now, and take itto the master of the feast."And they took it.
2:9 When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom.
The result is miracle, the sweet wine. The spiritual miracle is the renewal from water to wine. The more we are right, faithful, and obedient; our life will be renewed more and it be sweeter. The renewal starts from tongue. The tongue which tastes the sour wine as well as plain and bitter water refers to the saying that is not good, hatred, envy, and anger without reason. It is renewed to the sweet saying. It starts from marriage that is between husband and wife.
The one who has sweet saying is as follows:- Jesus as the Bridegroom of Heaven. If we want to be like Jesus, we must have the sweet saying.
Song of Solomon 5:16
5:16 His mouth ismost sweet,yes, he isaltogether lovely.This ismy beloved,and this ismy friend,Odaughters of Jerusalem! - The Bride of Heaven that is perfect.
Song of Solomon 7:9
7:9 And the roof of your mouth like the best wine. The winegoes downsmoothly for my beloved,moving gently the lips of sleepers.
Matthew 8:23-27
8:23 Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him.
8:24 And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep.
8:25 Then His disciples came to Himand awoke Him, saying, "Lord, save us! We are perishing!"
8:26 But He said to them, "Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?"Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.
8:27 So the men marveled, saying, "Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?"
The sweet saying goes down to the lips of sleepers. Thus, our aim is to say sweet things for Jesus.
Jesus sleeps means there is no activity. It signifies the tempest and waves that come suddenly (the problems).
The way out is there must be the sweet saying. We give thank to God, worship Him, and do not judge others. Jesus will wake and calm the wind and sea. If there is no sweet saying, we will sink. If we have the sweet saying, we can greet Jesus as the Bride of Heaven on glorious clouds when He comes a second time.
- Jesus as the Bridegroom of Heaven. If we want to be like Jesus, we must have the sweet saying.
God blesses us.
