Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 6:12-17
6:12 I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood.
6:13 And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind.
6:14 Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place.
6:15 And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains,
6:16 and said to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!
6:17 "For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?
The opening of the sixth seal is the same as the sixth judgment of Holy Spirit God, namely the great physical earthquake, especially the spiritual one which causes these things:
- The darkness [Revelation 6: 12-13].
- The shaking [Revelation 6: 14].
- The fear [Revelation 6: 15-17].
ad. 3. The fear.
The great spiritual earthquake refers to the influence of the world with all of its activities, impossibility, distress, joy, uncleanness, evil, and so on that cause the stress or fear up to the peak, namely being afraid of looking Jesus when He comes a second time in the glory as the King of kings and the heavenly Bridegroom on the glorious clouds. It means being left behind when Jesus comes a second time. One experiences doomsday up to perdition in the hell.
Malachi 3:1-43:1. "Behold, I send My messenger, And he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to His temple, Even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. Behold, He is coming," Says the LORD of hosts.3:2. "But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner's fire And like launderer's soap. 3:3. He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to the LORD An offering in righteousness. 3:4. "Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem Will be pleasant to the LORD, As in the days of old, As in former years. One who can endure the day of Jesus' coming on the glorious clouds is the servant or the son of God who experiences the working of the launderer's soap and refiner's fire.
THE LAUNDERER'S SOAPIt is used for washing. It refers to the repeated true teaching word, namely the shepherding one.
The launderer's soap cleanses the spot of our daily life, especially on the robe of service.
Matthew 25:26,3025:26. "But his lord answered and said to him, 'You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. 25:30. 'And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.' The servant who gets the trust is the one of God.
The talents refer to God's gift/trust.
The spot of wickedness and laziness happens because of shrinking God's talent or trust.
Laziness is started from being unfaithful up to leaving the ministry.
If one is lazy, he is surely wicked.
Wickedness means hating the other servant of God. It means judging others who are used by God or the righteous men.
The wickedness also means stinginess and greediness or the love of money.
Stinginess means that one cannot give to the work of God and others in need.
Greediness means that one robs others' and God's.
In wickedness and laziness, one becomes unprofitable servant of God, even he destroys the building of the body of Christ or the work of God.
Consequently, he lives in curse atmosphere such as sorrow, tears, labor, and heavy burden until he enters the outer darkness to be destroyed in the hell forever.
Matthew 25:2125:21. "His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'The result of being washed by the launderer's soap or being purified by the repeated true teaching word is becoming good and faithfull servant.
The results are as follows:
- We will rule over many things, namely the building of the body of Christ. It is started from good conscience, so we have good word and deed.
We serve from marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding up to the perfect body of Christ.
- Experiencing the heavenly bliss that cannot be influenced by anything in the world. We are happy anywhere, in any condition, and anytime.
When we were born, every intent of the thoughts of our heart was only evil. We must be reborn spiritually in the water baptism, so we receive a good conscience.
Water baptism is the renewal of heart from the heart that tends to do evil to the good conscience.
Becoming good and faithful is the key to receive God's trust and the heavenly bliss is increased up to the peak, namely we enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God on the glorious clouds. We see Jesus face to face without fear.
A REFINER'S FIRE1 Peter 4:12-134:12. Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;
4:13. but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ's sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.The refiner's fire means the fiery trial or the sprinkling of blood, namely suffering in the flesh for Jesus that is useful to purify us from the rusts of sin. It means that we are purified up to the heart which is the same as the purification of leprosy, namely uncleanness in heart and mind, and self-truth.
The example of leprosy or having self-truth is Job.
Job 1:1-31:1. There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil.
1:2. And seven sons and three daughters were born to him.
1:3. Also, his possessions were seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen, five hundred female donkeys, and a very large household, so that this man was the greatest of all the people of the East. Job was upright and blessed in physical life and marriage.
Job 32:1-232:1. So these three men ceased answering Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.
32:2. Then the wrath of Elihu, the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram, was aroused against Job; his wrath was aroused because he justified himself rather than God.But, Job kept the rust of sin, namely self-truth.
The facts found in the self-truth are as follows:
- Blaming others even God or the true teaching word or justifying the false one.
- Stumbling in word, namely lying, gossiping, slandering, and blaspheming.
Job 42:5-6
42:5. "I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, But now my eye sees You.
42:6. Therefore I abhor myself, And repent in dust and ashes."
Consequently, one cannot endure the day of Jesus'coming on the glorious clouds.
God allows us to experience the sprinkling of blood, so we can be purified and appear as pure silver and gold.
Proverbs 10:2010:20. The tongue of the righteous is choice silver; The heart of the wicked is worth little. The choice silver refers to the true tongue or pulling out false word. We confess our sin to God and others, confess that we are just dust, and cry out to God.
The pure gold refers to the tested faith, namely believing and obeying God.
As a result, Job experienced double recovery both physically (the impossible thing becomes possible) and spiritually (we can live in righteousness and holiness). The household and ministry are also recovered. We become the vessel of glory that is used by God in the building of the body of Christ. We are purified and changed up to perfection. We do not stumble in word. We are not afraid of greeting Jesus when He comes a second time until we enter the New Jerusalem.
God blesses us.
