Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 19 and 20 in Tabernacle refers to the mercy seat with the seven sprinklings of blood.

Exodus 25:17-18, 20-21
25:17 "You shall make a mercy seat of pure gold; two and a half cubits shall be its length and a cubit and a half its width.
25:18 "And you shall make two cherubim of gold; of hammered work you shall make them at the two ends of the mercy seat.
25:20. "And
the cherubim shall stretch out their wings above, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and they shall face one another; the faces of the cherubim shall be toward the mercy seat.
25:21. "You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the Testimony that I will give you.

The cherubim shall stretch out their wings above, covering the mercy seat and the Ark of Covenant--the church of God--with their wings.

Thus, the mercy seat refers to God's protection for His church.

The direction of our worship is getting the curtain, namely the protection of the wings of God.

Why does the church of God need the protection of the wings of God?

  1. We are just like the brood no matter how great we are in the world. We are powerless even unable to find the food.
    Luke 13:34
13:34. "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing!

  2. We face the enemies.
    Luke 13:31-32
13:31. On that very day some Pharisees came, saying to Him, "Get out and depart from here, for Herod wants to kill You."
13:32. And He said to them, "Go, tell that
fox, 'Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.'

The external enemy is the fox or Satan with the sin and impossible problem.

    Acts 20:29
20:29. "For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.

The internal enemy is the fox or the fleshly man with all of the wildness of the flesh, namely lying, gossiping, slandering, blaspheming God or the true teaching Word, and agreeing the false teaching.

    Acts 20:30
20:30. "Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves.

  3. We face the night or the cold atmosphere.
It means that on the last days the lawlessness will abound and the love of many will grow cold. It starts from marriage, shepherding, working, et cetera.

Where do we receive the covering of the wings of God
?

Luke 13:34
13:34. "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing!

God offers His covering of the wings for His church through the true teaching Word which is preached by His servants.

But there are many people who harden their heart and reject God's covering because of the things as follows:

  • Feeling able, rich, and not needing God.
    Revelation 3:17
3:17. "Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing' --and do not know that you are wretched(1), miserable(2), poor(3), blind(4), and naked(5)--

Arrogance is against the five injuries of Jesus on the cross.

  • Feeling being used.
    Matthew 7:22-23
7:22. "Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'
7:23. "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'

  • Looking for other needs, so one becomes unfaithful in the ministry, even leaving it. He rejects the true teaching Word and does not worship God.

Consequently, his life is like Judas Iscariot.

Luke 13:35
13:35. "See! Your house is left to you desolate; and assuredly, I say to you, you shall not see Me until the time comes when you say, 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!'"

Acts 1:17-20
1:17. "for he was numbered with us and obtained a part in this ministry."
1:18. (Now this man purchased a field with the wages of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst open in the middle and all his entrails gushed out.
1:19. And it became known to all those dwelling in Jerusalem; so that field is called in their own language, Akel Dama, that is, Field of Blood.)
1:20. "For it is written in the book of Psalms: 'Let his dwelling place be desolate, And let no one live in it';and, 'Let another take his office.'

Judas Iscariot fell headlong. He burst open in the middle and all his entrails gushed out. It means totally being ashamed. His ministry was taken by others, so he did not have the place in the body of Christ but being destroyed.

Luke 22:39-42
22:39. Coming out, He went to the Mount of Olives, as He was accustomed, and His disciples also followed Him.
22:40. When He came to the place, He said to them, "Pray that you may not enter into temptation."
22:41. And
He was withdrawn from them about a stone's throw, and He knelt down and prayed,
22:42. saying, "Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done."

Jesus is withdrawn about a stone's throw to help His church who hardens his heart. It means as follows:

  1. Jesus willingly dies on the cross. It means that He is punished by God to bear and change His church, so we are not punished and destroyed. He also destroys the hardness of the heart of the church of God to become gentle.

  2. Becoming a hen who gathers her brood under her wings. Jesus is responsible to the point of death on the cross.

If the church of God receives and appreciates Christ's sacrifice, we will confess our hardness of heart such as rejecting the Word and committing sin, so we experience the remission of sin by Jesus' blood. We become gentle, so we can worship God with a broken heart. We just need the covering of the wings of God or God's merciful hands. We cry out to God. We surrender our whole life to God, and He will cover us with His love.

The results are as follows:

  1. God is able to protect and take care of us in the midst of the difficulties of the word and disaster until the time when the Antichrist reigns over the world for three and a half years.

  2. God gives us His love, so we are not cold spiritually, but we love Him more than anything. We minister to Him faithfully and fervently until He comes a second time. We also love others as we love ourselves; even we can love our enemy. We just do the good thing; even repay good for evil.

  3. God gives us the extra power.
    Isaiah 40:29-31
40:29. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.
40:30. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall,
40:31. But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

We experience the renewal of life from the fleshly men to the spiritual ones like Jesus, namely being strong and of good courage. It means that we do not get disappointed and desperate as well as leave God regardless of anything that happens.

The physical miracle also happens. The impossible problems are finished by God. He creates something that does not exist yet. The disease is cured. We experience peace, so all things become easy and light.

It continues until Jesus comes a second time that we are changed to become as perfect as He is, so we are worthy to greet His second coming on the glorious clouds. We enter the Paradise and the New Jerusalem, the last sheepfold

God blesses us.
