Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 8:128:12 Then the fourth angel sounded: And a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night. The matter of the fourth angel sounded refers to the fourth punishment from the Son of God to the world that refuses the sound of the trumpet or the hard teaching Word that is repeated. It is the same as rejecting sanctification.
The fourth trumpet is signified by a third of the sun, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars that were darkened.
John 11:1011:10 But if one walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him."Spiritually, it means living in darkness or not becoming the testifier of God, but a stumbling block. It is the same as easily stumbling or being offended, so, one sins, gets disappointed and hopeless, leaves God, or becomes the stumbling block to others until they sin and do not want to come to God.
Matthew 16:21-2316:21 From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.16:22 Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, "Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!"16:23 But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men."For example, Peter as a great servant of God or the rock could turn into the stumbling block because of using the fleshly thoughts or human logics. It means rejecting the cross and only concerning the things that are comfortable for the flesh. In such condition, one does not want to sacrifice for God and other, but does the opposite.
In order not to become the stumbling block, we must have the thought and feeling of Jesus, namely the thought of the cross. The facts found in it are as follows:
- Willingly sacrificing or suffering in the flesh to stop doing sin.
1 Peter 4:1-2
4:1 Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,
4:2 that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.
We stop doing sin and return to God for carrying out His will that is living in righteousness.
Proverbs 10:2-3
10:2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing, But righteousness delivers from death.
10:3 The Lord will not allow the righteous soul to famish, But He casts away the desire of the wicked.
The results are salvation, being blessed, and becoming a blessing for others. It starts from the marriage.
- To think and search the matter of Heaven more than any matter in the world.
Colossians 3:1-3
3:1 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.
3:2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
3:3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
Matthew 25:21
25:21 His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'
It means serving and ministering to God faithfully and well as well as faithfully and righteously.
1 Peter 3:20-21
3:20 who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
3:21 There is also an antitype which now saves us--baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
The good conscience is obtained from the true baptism.
One who has believed in Jesus and repented (or died from sin) must be buried in water together with Him for rising with Him and getting a new or the heavenly life, so he can only think the matter of Heaven. Through baptism, we have the good conscience, namely being obedient and willing to sacrifice. So, we can distinguish between the right and the wrong as well as the good and the evil. Thus, there are only good and right deeds or sayings andwe become the testifier. It starts from the marriage, the shepherding and so on.
The results are as follows :
- We are entrusted with the great matter or used in the ministry of building the perfect body of Christ.
- God makes everything good and happy right in His time, up to the peak of happiness in the marriage supper of the Lamb.
- Willingly suffering in the flesh without sin or because of Jesus or the sprinkling of blood.
1 Peter 4:12-14
4:12 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;
4:13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ's sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.
4:14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.
For example, we suffer in the flesh because of the ministry, worship prayer, fasting prayer, all night-long prayer, being falsely accused, being slandered or reviled, and so on.
So, the spirit of Glory or the Holy Spirit will dwell in our lives. The results are as follows:
- There is happiness in the midst of sufferings and we will always be thankful to God.
- We are entrusted to testify or preach the light of Gospel of the glory of Christ, the true teaching Word that is shaper than any two-edged sword, or the Bride Tidings in order to bring people who have believed in Jesus to be renewed until perfected.
- We are renewed from the carnal men to the glorious ones like Jesus.
1 Peter 4:15-16
4:15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a busybody in other people's matters.
4:16 Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter.
Envy or hatred is changed into loving each others. Evildoer can be good. A troublemaker can become a peacemaker. A thief can become a giver. It continues until we are happier to give than to receive until we can give all of our lives to God. We become the house of prayer and submit all things to God. We only shout and surrender to God, and there are the words of faith.
The examples are as follows:
- Abraham became the house of prayer and had the words of faith. So, the hands of God were able to create something from nothing, revive the dead, and make impossible things possible.
Genesis 22:5
22:5 And Abraham said to his young men, "Stay here with the donkey; the lad and I will go yonder and worship, and we will come back to you."
- A woman who had had the flow of blood for twelve years became the house of prayer. She had the words of faith by saying "If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well". As a result, the ruined marriage was restored, all diseases were healed, and the rotten matters became fragrant.
- Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego kept on worshiping God even though they had to be cast into the burning fiery furnace which as heated seven times more than it was usually heated.
- It continues until there are the words of faith to welcome Jesus, who comes a second time.
Revelation 22:20-21
22:20 He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming quickly." Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
22:21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
God blesses us.
