Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 21:8
21:8 "But the cowardly(1), unbelieving(2), abominable(3), murderers(4), sexually immoral(5), sorcerers(6), idolaters(7), and all liars(8)shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."

The eight sins which drown men to the hell are as follows:
(1) the cowardly,(2) unbelieving--> are resisting against the truth.
(3) abominable, (4) murderers, (5) sexually immoral, (6) sorcerers, (7) idolaters--> are resisting against the holiness.
(8) liars--> is resisting against the perfection.

We are learning the sixth, namely the sorcerers.
Exodus 7:10-13
7:10 So Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and they did so, just as the LORD commanded. And Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a serpent.
7:11 But Pharaoh also called the wise men and the
sorcerers; so the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments.
7:12 For every man threw down his rod, and they became serpents. But Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.
7:13 And Pharaoh's heart grew hard, and he did not heed them, as the LORD had said.

When Israel would go out of Egypt, the sorcerers resisted against the rod of Aaron and Moses.

2 Timothy 3:6-9
3:6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts,
3:7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
3:8 Now as
Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith;
3:9 but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was.

Formerly, Jannes and Jambres resisted against Aaron and Moses. Likewise, on the last days when the Church will go out of the world for meeting Jesus on the glorious clouds, the sorcerers or false prophets come to teach the false teachings or gossips resisting against the cross of the Lord and the sword of the Word. It means serving to God, but rejecting the power of godliness. The service to God is only physically. It only pursues the entertainment and prosperity of the flesh, but the spirituality or heart is never touched by God.

2 Timothy 3:1-5
3:1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
3:2 For men will be lovers of themselves
(1), lovers of money(2), boasters(3), proud(4), blasphemers(5), disobedient to parents(6), unthankful(7), unholy(8),
3:3 unloving
(9), unforgiving(10), slanderers(11), without self-control(12), brutal(13), despisers of good(14),
3:4 traitors
(15), headstrong(16), haughty(17), lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God(18),
3:5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

The consequences are as follows:

  1. Not experiencing the renewal of life, but keeping the man of blood and flesh with the eighteen characteristics of the flesh up to the peak, namely disobedience. Consequently, one is stamped with triple six to become the same as the Antichrist.

  2. [verse 8] The corrupt minds refer to not having understanding or the heavenly wisdom, but foolishness.
    Ecclesiastes 10:2
10:2 A wise man's heart is at his right hand, But a fool's heart at his left.

    Matthew 25:33
25:33 "And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.

The heart is at the left like the goat. It means not being willing to be shepherded as well as used in the edification of Christ's body because of egoism.

    James 3:15-16
3:15 This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic.
    3:16 For where
envyand self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.

It also refers to the envy or using the wisdom of man until hindering or destroying the body of Christ.

  3. [verse 7-8] The faith cannot endure the test until falling from faith.
One willingly hears the teaching Word, but his life is never righteous because of not enduring in facing the temptation, false teachings, and gossips. It also means disobedience or resisting against the teaching Word and turning to the false teachings.

Consequently, he only commits sins up to the peak and his spirituality dies to go towards the second death or perishing forever in the hell.

1 Peter 4:12-14
4:12 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;
4:13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ's sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.
4:14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.

The solution is that we must prioritize the power of godliness in our service and ministry to God, namely the sword of the Word and the cross, although it is painful for our flesh. As a result, we get the shekinah glory or the Spirit of glory.

The functions of Holy Spirit are as follows:

  1. Holy Spirit is able to renew our life.
    Titus 3:5
3:5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

We can be obedient until the flesh does not speak anymore. We can be shepherded well and correctly until confessing "I shall not want."
Physically, Holy Spirit is able to preserve our life in the midst of the difficulties in the world abundantly until we can give thanks and become blessings for others.
Spiritually, Holy Spirit gives us peace in the midst of the shakings in the world. All things become easy and light. We get the heavenly joy in the midst of sufferings. It continues until we have no flaw anymore, but being as holy and perfect as Jesus is.

  2. Holy Spirit is able to give us the gifts that determine our ministry.
    Ephesians 4:7,11-12
4:7 But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ's gift.
4:11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry,
for the edifying of the body of Christ,

We are used in the ministry for the edification of the perfect body of Christ.

    Romans 12:11
    12:11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;

Holy Spirit makes us faithful and fervent in spirit in the service and ministry to God until the end line.

  3. Holy Spirit helps us to pray and worship God with the broken heart.
    Romans 8:26
8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

We feel not worthy, unable, and not precious.

    Mark 9:21-24
9:21 So He asked his father, "How long has this been happening to him?" And he said, "From childhood.
9:22 "And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us."
9:23 Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes."
9:24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, "Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!"

For example, a father faced the impossible problem of marriage and children.
Holy Spirit is able to finish all impossible problems as well as restore the marriage and children.

God blesses you.
