Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 11:1
11:1 Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, "Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worshipthere.
The measuring rod is the rod of shepherd or the shepherding word. It is the true teaching word which is entrusted by God to a pastor to be preached to the congregation faithfully, regularly, continually, and repetitively as spiritual food for them to give the strength and growth. It is a command to arrange what we should and should not do. It is also for measuring or increasing our spirituality to reach the measurement of God that is the flesh does not speak anymore (the veil is ripped) and we reach the perfection.
There are two things that are measured by the shepherding word as follows:
- The temple of God.
- The altar and those who worship there (the Golden Altar of Incense)
We learn the first point, namely the temple of God.
The temple of God is our life.
Hebrews 3:6
3:6 but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.
The measure of the temple of God is that it must be led by Christ. It means as follows:
- We must be led by Jesus as the King of kings who defeats the enemies; even the death has been defeated.
Ephesians 1:22-23
1:22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,
1:23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
1 Corinthians 15:25-26
15:25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet.
15:26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.
It means that we must become the kings or the life that is victorious over the death or sins. We live in righteousness and hold fast the true teaching word.
- We must be led by Jesus as the High Priest or the Head of ministry.
Ephesians 4:15-16
4:15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head--Christ--
4:16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
It means that we must become the priests and kings or the weapon of righteousness. It refers to the servant of God that is employed in the building of the perfect body of Christ.
1 Peter 2:5
2:5 you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
The conditions are as follows:
- We must have the ministry and the gift of Holy Spirit. The ministry and the gift are our place in the body of Christ.
- We be faithful and responsible.
Thus, we minister to God according to the ministry and the gift of Holy Spirit that is entrusted by God with faithfulness and righteousness.
Isaiah 11:5
11:5 Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, And faithfulness the belt of His waist.
It is the same as ministering with wearing the belt. The belt is adornment, so our life becomes beautiful. The belt makes us tidy. It means that our life becomes tidy and beautiful. God is able to fulfill our need. He never fools us.
- We must be led by Jesus as the Husband or the Bridegroom of Heaven.
Ephesians 5:22-23
5:22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
5:23 For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.
It means that we must become the bride of heaven that is perfect like Jesus is.
The closest connection between the Body and the Head is in the neck or the worship prayer. Let us make the worship prayer our need or delight. Do not worship God because we need something.
The worship prayer is the process of ripping the flesh with its lust and will, so we can obey the will of God until our flesh does not speak anymore.
The key to face the shaken world until the days of Antichrist is the worship prayer. The worship prayer means obeying God's will until the flesh does not speak anymore. For example, we commit the fasting prayer, all night-long prayer, et cetera.
It is the same as stretching out our hands to God. Then, He will stretch out His lovingkindness hands to do the miracle. The results are as follows:
- The lovingkindness hands of God nourish, cherish, and hug us.
Ephesians 5:28-29
5:28 So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself.
5:29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.
The hands of God care for us who are small and powerless in the midst of difficulties in the world physically and spiritually. The hands of God warm us, so we will not become cold spiritually, but we are faithful and fervent in ministry (loving God) until we can love each other up to our enemy.
- The lovingkindness hands of God save us.
Ephesians 5:23
5:23 For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.
We can cross the storm of the world. Everything becomes calm, peaceful, easy, and light. All problems are finished in time; including the impossible ones. We are protected from Antichrist.
- The lovingkindness hands of God sanctify and change us to perfection.
Ephesians 5:25-27
5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,
5:26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,
5:27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.
The hands of God sanctify and cleanse us two times with water and the word. We become sincere and honest. It is the same as being the house of prayer. Then, the miracle happens. We are changed to become perfect as Jesus is.
God blesses us.
