Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 3:18-193:18. "I counselyou to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.3:19. "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.God rebukes, advises, and chastens the church of the Laodiceans (the church of the last days) to buy the heavenly treasure, so they may be rich spiritually. They are not spiritual lukewarm and vomited by God, but well pleasing before God.
So, God will please us too and give us heavenly bliss until eternal life.
There are
three kinds of the heavenly treasureas follows: gold (the faith), white garments (the ministry), and eye salve (the anointing of Holy Spirit).
Matthew 6:19-206:19. "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where mothand rustdestroy and where thievesbreak in and steal;6:20. "but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.Be alert! There are
three enemiesthat target the heavenly treasure as follows:
- The moth. It destroys white garments, namely wickedness and laziness.
- The rust. It destroys the metal.
- The thieves who steal the anointing oil.
We still learn the third one.
The thieves (antichrist) steal the anointing oil.
The practices are as follows:
- Blasphemingthe Holy Spirit [Matthew 12:31-32].
It means one does not want to confess his sin and actively minister in the revival of the building of the body of Christ (it has been explained in General Service in Malang, January 31, 2016).
- Grievingthe Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 4:30-32
4:30. And do not grieve the Holy Spiritof God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
4:31. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.
4:32. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ forgave you.
It means one keeps bitterness, wrath, et cetera, so he becomes the salt that loses its flavor.
He loses heart, becomes disappointed, desperate, and unfaithful in ministry up to leaves God.
His deed is decayed, wicked, and unclean.
His word is tasteless, namely speaking lie, slander, et cetera.
Matthew 5:13
5:13. "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.
Consequently, he will be thrown out like vomit and enter persecution of antichrist.
The right attitudeis not grieving the Holy Spirit. It means we have to discard bitterness, wrath, et cetera.
Ephesians 4:32
4:32. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ forgave you.
We are kind, confessing, and forgiving one another. The result is the blood of Jesus finishes our sins, so we experience peace. It is the same as becoming the salt or life who is anointed by Holy Spirit.
Mark 9:49-50
9:49. "For everyone will be seasoned with fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt.
9:50. "Salt is good, but if the salt loses its flavor, how will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace with one another."
The characteristic of the salt is strong and of good courage. It means we are not disappointed/desperate in anything, but faithful and fervent in ministry until the last line.
The deed is true and holy. The word is true and good. We can testify and become blessing for others.
The salt also refers to one who is used to glorify Godup to being the salt of the earth or the light of the world, we are perfect like Jesus.
The characters of the salt are as follows:
- One who wants to be sent to the place in need though it does not meet his desire. It is the same as being obedient.
- It is cheap but is needed. It means one becomes humble and feels nothing although he has something, and does not show up himself or something in this world.
- One who willingly dissolves to give good taste and become blessing for others.
He is not selfish, but willingly sacrifices for God and others.
The example of the salt is Jesus who becomes obedient to the point of death on the cross. We must obey God too until our flesh does not sound anymore. It is the same as stretching out our hand to God, worshipping, trusting and committing ourselves to Him.
The resultsare as follows:
- We experience the stretching hand of God with the creation power.
John 21:3, 7
21:3. Simon Peter said to them, "I am going fishing." They said to him, "We are going with you also." They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing.
21:7. Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, "It is the Lord!" Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it), and plunged into the sea.
Peter is the image of the manwho often depends on ability, cleverness,
experience, et ceteraup to disobeys the word.
Consequently, he fails and becomes naked.
John 21:5-6
21:5. Then Jesus said to them, "Children, have you any food?" They answered Him, "No."
21:6. And He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish.
If we obey the word, we will experience the creation power to take care of us miraculously in the middle of impossibilities.
- God stretches out His hand with the healing power.
Mark 5:25-28
5:25. Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years,
5:26. and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse.
5:27. When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment.
5:28. For she said, "If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well."
A certain womanhas a flow of blood for twelve years often hopes others, money, et cetera.
Consequently, her condition rather grows worse.
If we can stretch out our hand to God, He will stretch out His hand with the healing power to heal physical and spiritual disease.
The cleavage in the household and decay in marriage and children will be restored by God.
- God stretches out His hand with the lifting power.
1 Peter 5:5-6
5:5. Likewise you younger people, submit yourselvesto your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble."
5:6. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,
If the younger people obey God, they will be exalted in due time.
God stretches out His hand with the lifting power to make everything successful and beautiful in due time. We are used in the revival of the building of the body of Christ.
We are changed, starting from being honest. It is the same as the salt that cannot lose its flavor.
Until when God comes a second time, we are changed to become as glorious as Him. We are worthy to greet Jesus' coming on the glorious clouds.
God blesses us.
