Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 6:12-13
6:12 I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood.
6:13 And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind.
The sixth judgment of Holy Spirit God happens through the great earthquake physically and spiritually in the influence of the world with all of its impossibilities, sorrows, activities, amenities, uncleanness, evil, and so on that cause the spiritual darkness in the world as follows.
- 'the sun became black as sackcloth of hair'means that the love of God does not work anymore or there is no love of God anymore, but evil, uncleanness, iniquity, hatred up to the one without a cause.
- 'the moon became like blood'means that the redemption which is done by the blood of Jesus has been finished or there is no more redemption of sin. Men live in sins up to the peak, namely the sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage.
- 'the stars of heaven fell to the earth' means that Holy Spirit does not work anymore or God's servant becomes unfaithful; even he leaves the service to God.
The consequences of the spiritual darkness or the black sun, red moon, and fallen stars are as follows.
- Facing the storm in the sea of the world.
- Facing the stumbling-block.
ad. 2. Facing the stumbling-block.
John 11 : 1011:10"But if one walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him."
Facing the sin of stumbling-block means as follows.
- From inside one's life. It means that he easily stumbles, becomes disappointed and hopeless, as well as leaves God. He also easily gets proud or forgets God, commits sin up to the peak, namely the sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage, and becomes deceived by false teachings because there are no Word and Holy Spirit anymore. Finally, he perishes forever.
- Being the stumbling-block.
Matthew 18:6
18:6 "But whoever causes one of these little oneswho believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
Deceiving is the same as being stumbling-block.
The little ones refer to the people who have not been mature spiritually yet.
One who becomes the stumbling-block for others, especially the sons of God who have not been mature spiritually yet, by his saying or deeds will cause them to leave God and the true teaching Word.
Be watchful! Do not become the stumbling-block!
The millstone refers to the heavy rugged stone to grind the grain to be powder.
The consequence of being the stumbling-block is that the millstone is hung around the neck and he is drowned in the depth of the sea. It means weariness, heavy burden, sorrow in physical and spiritual life, not beautiful life, and being drowned. Being drowned means committing the sins of Babylon, namely the sins concerning eating drinking such as smoking, getting drunk, and drugs abuse, as well as the ones concerning marrying-being given in marriage such as sexuality sin with all of its kinds, mix marriage, and divorce-remarrying. Finally, he was drowned in the lake of fire and brimstone to perish forever.
A servant of God who becomes the stumbling-block will be dry. There is no revelation of the Word and the ministry decreases. Consequently, there is spiritual hunger or destruction which is continued by the physical ones.
Revelation 18 : 2118:21 Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstoneand threw it into the sea, saying, "Thus with violence the great city Babylonshall be thrown down, and shall not be found anymore.
The neck refers to worship prayer and submission.
The worship prayer means the process to tear the flesh with all of its lusts and wills, so we can obey God until the flesh does not speak like Jesus who was obedient to the point of death on the cross.
The lusts and wills of flesh only cause disobedience.
Proverbs 3 : 3-43:3Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart,
3:4 And so find favor and high esteem In the sight of God and man.
If we are obedient, our neck will be bound by the mercy of God, so we do not become the stumbling-block, but blessings for others. We can testify and become the light. As a result, we find high esteem in the sight of God and man. We become the apple of God's eye and get the blessings from Him. Our life always increases.
Psalm 17:7-817:7 Show Your marvelous lovingkindnessby Your right hand, O You who save those who trust in You From those who rise up against them.
17:8 Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings,
The functions of the mercy of God are as follows.
- The marvelous lovingkindness of God.
- To cover us. It means to preserve and protect us physically and spiritually with the two wings of a great eagle from now on in the midst of the difficulties in the world up to the age when the antichrist reigns over the world.
The spiritual preservation refers to serenity and peace. All things are easy and light. We are not influenced by anything in the world. We can surrender to God.
- To renew us from the fleshly man to the spiritual one until we can be as perfect as Jesus is.
Psalm 51:1-3,14-17
51:1. <<To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David
51:2 when Nathan the prophet went to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba.>> Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions.
51:2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin.
51:3 For I acknowledge my transgressions, And my sin is always before me.
51:14 Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, The God of my salvation, And my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.
51:15 O Lord, open my lips, And my mouth shall show forth Your praise.
51:16 For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering.
51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart--These, O God, You will not despise.
The beginning of renewal is being gentle in heart like King David who could receive the hard rebuke from Nathan the prophet and get the help. We can receive the hard rebuke of the Word as well as confess and forgive sin one another with a broken heart. As a result, the sin is finished and we become precious before God.
Sin is the heaviest burden in life because it is the debt of Jesus' blood. It can be finished by the marvelous lovingkindness of God, so all problems in the world even the impossible ones can be finished by Him.
- The everlasting lovingkindness of God.
- To make our ministry firm. We can be faithful and fervent in spirit in the midst of shakings in the world up to our descendants until the end line, namely our bodily death or Jesus' second coming and we can reach the throne of heaven forever.
Psalm 89:2-4
89:2 For I have said, "Mercy shall be built up forever; Your faithfulness You shall establish in the very heavens."
89:3 "I have made a covenant with My chosen, I have sworn to My servant David:
89:4 'Your seed I will establish forever, And build up your throne to all generations.'"Selah
Revelation 22: 3-5
22:3 And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lambshall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.
22:4 They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads.
22:5 There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.
The garment of ministry is the same as the tunic of many colors. The everlasting lovingkindness of God is able to make our life beautiful.
- To protect us from the judgment of God in the world up to the everlasting one in the hell.
Isaiah 54 : 5-10
54:5 For your Maker is your husband, The LORD of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth.
54:6 For the LORD has called you Like a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, Like a youthful wife when you were refused," Says your God.
54:7 "For a mere moment I have forsaken you, But with great mercies I will gather you.
54:8 With a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; But with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you," Says the LORD, your Redeemer.
54:9 "For this is like the waters of Noah to Me; For as I have sworn That the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth, So have I sworn That I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.
54:10 For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed," Says the LORD, who has mercy on you.
We are changed to be the heavenly bride who is ready to welcome Jesus' second coming on the glorious clouds.
God blesses you.
