Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 4:8-11 is about the activity in the throne of heaven as follows:
- The activity of purification.
Revelation 4:8
4:8 Thefour living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!"
- The activity of worship.
Revelation 4:10
4:10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:
Those two activities cannot be separated.
We learn the first point, namely the activity of purification.
In Revelation 4:8, it is said "holy" three times. It refers to the purification of body, soul, and spirit.
1 Corinthians 5:115:11 But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral (1), or covetous (2), or an idolater (3), or a reviler (4), or a drunkard (5), or an extortioner (6)--not even to eat with such a person. There are six sins that bind the body, soul, and spiritas follows:
- The sins that bind the body are fornication or the sin of sexuality and getting drunk or the sin of eating drinking.
- The sins that bind the soul are covetousness, extortion, and reviling.
- The sin that bind the spirit is idolatry or something that hinders us to love God.
If our body, soul, and spirit are purified from the six sins, we will receive three thingsas follows:
- Our body, soul, and spirit are attached in the Trinity of Godthrough the sheepfold or the Holy Place. It refers to the perseverance in three main services as follows:
- The Golden Candlestickor the perseverance in General Service. It is the fellowship with Holy Spirit God and the gift.
- The Table of Showbreador the perseverance in Bible Study Service and Holy Communion. It is the fellowship with Son of God in the Word and the sacrifice of Christ.
- The Golden Altar of Incenseor the perseverance in Worship Prayer Service. It is the fellowship with Father God in love.
We are shepherded well and right like a branch that abides in the true vine.
John 15:1
15:1 "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.
The result is that God cares us in the midst of difficulties in the world until the days of Antichrist. God makes effort so we feel the joy of heaven and defends us, so we will not fall and get lost until we become His possession forever.
- We are equipped with the ministry and gift of Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 4:11-12
4:11 And He Himself gave some to beapostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
It is the same as receiving the beautiful robe of Jesus. Jesus is willing to be stripped until He dies on the cross to give His beautiful robe for us.
1 Timothy 4:14
4:14 Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership.
We receive the robe of Jesus through the teaching Word and the laying on of the hands of the shepherd.
Exodus 29:1a, 9
29:1 "And this is what you shall do to them to hallow them for ministering to Me as priests: ...
29:9 And you shall gird them with sashes, Aaron and his sons, and put the hats on them. The priesthood shall be theirs for a perpetual statute. So you shall consecrate Aaron and his sons.
We are lifted up to become priest and king forever without any retirement. We are employed in the ministry of the building of the perfect body of Christ.
The result is that God makes everything perfect and beautiful.
Nevertheless, the beautiful robe must be dipped in blood like Joseph's. It means that we must suffer in the flesh together with Jesus. We sacrifice time, effort, money, et cetera in order to minister God in faithfulness and fervency. Do not be negligent in ministry.
Revelation 7:13-14
7:13 Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, "Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?"
7:14 And I said to him, "Sir, you know." So he said to me, "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
It continues until we get the white robe or the garment of Bride to greet the second coming of Jesus.
- We may ascend into the hill of the worship.
Psalm 24:3-5
24:3 Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord?Or who may stand in His holy place?
24:4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully.
24:5 He shall receive blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
We worship, trust, entrust, and surrender our life fully to God.
The result is that we experience the rain of blessing of God physically and spiritually.
Psalm 43:4-5
43:4 Then I will go to the altar of God,to God my exceeding joy;And on the harp I will praise You,O God, my God.
43:5 Why are you cast down, O my soul?And why are you disquieted within me?Hope in God;
For I shall yet praise Him,the help of my countenance and my God.
The spiritual blessing refers to salvation and joy so we can always give thanks. We also get the blessing of peace and calmness. Everything becomes easy and light.
Psalm 24:6
24:6 This isJacob, the generation of those who seek Him,who seek Your face. Selah
We can see God's face. It means that we experience the life renewal. It starts from being honest or saying yes if yes, no if no, so our face can be cheerful. It also refers to the honesty about teaching or the persona of God.
Proverbs 15:8
15:8 The sacrifice of the wicked isan abomination to the Lord, but the prayer of the upright isHis delight.
We become the house of prayer. The prayer is answered by God. The physical miracle happens and the impossible thing becomes possible. When Jesus comes a second time, we are changed to become as glorious as He is. We see God face to face on the glorious clouds until we enter the throne of heaven forever.
Revelation 22:3-4
22:3 And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.
22:4 They shall see His face, and His name shall beon their foreheads.
God blesses us.
