Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 3:18-19
3:18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, thatthe shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
3:19
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

God rebukes, exhorts, and chastens us to buy the treasure of heaven, so we are not lukewarm and be vomited by God but He can eat us and we can please Him. There are three kinds of the treasure of heavenas follows:

  1. The gold refined in the fire.
  2. The white garment to clothe the nakedness.
  3. The eye salve to anoint the eyes.

We are learning the second point namely the white garment to clothe the nakedness.
The white garment is the trust garment of God or the garment of the ministry of reconciliation. It is also the garment of shepherding.

1 Peter 5:3
5:3 nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock

Only the lives that have the trust of God that can be shepherded.

John 10:11
10:11 "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.

Jesus gives His life for two thingsas follows:

  1. To be a Good Shepherd.
  2. We become the sheep that can be shepherded well and correctly.

How great the Gentiles are, they are only as dog and sow if they are outside the shepherding pen. For that reason, we must sacrifice willingly (our time, effort, money, mind, et cetera) to be shepherded well and correctly. Do not sacrifice the true teaching Word because it is the persona of Jesus as the Head.

The signs of being shepherded well and correctly are as follows:

  1. Experiencing the death or suffering in the flesh because of Jesus.
    1 Peter 5:1

5:1 The elders who are among you I exhort, I who am a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that will be revealed

Thus we experience the glory of God that is life renewal from carnal man to spiritual one like Jesus. The beginning of the death experience with Jesus is the water baptism. The true water baptism is one who has died to sin or repented must be buried together with Jesus in water and rise (come out) from water together with Him to receive the new life or the heavenly one. He lives in righteousness. If there is something wrong, he is not a sheep but dog and sow.

  2. Ministering God to please Him.
    1 Peter 5:2

5:2 Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly

We must minister to God willingly without being forced or forcing. Then, the ministry is signified with gratitude. There is satisfaction of heaven so we will endure all things until the end line. If we grumble in ministry, we will stumble and perish like Israel in the wilderness.

Ministering is not for physical advantages but committing our self and sacrificing everything willingly to God. Then we will get the great advantage in ministry, namely the two wings of a great eagle to cross the storm at the sea of the world.

    It means as follows:

    • Finishing the problems and giving peace so everything becomes easy and light.
    • Evacuating us to the wilderness to make us far from Antichrist who reigns for three and a half years.
    • Lifting us up to glorious clouds when Jesus comes a second time.

  3. To be example.
    1 Peter 5:3

5:3 nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock

Do not be a stumbling block. It starts from youth. Moreover the elders must be examples also.

    1 Timothy 4:12
4:12 Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word (1), in conduct (2), in love (3), in spirit, in faith (4), in purity (5).

Being an example starts from five main things that come from five wounds of Jesus on the cross. To be a pattern, we must be hammered like the process of making the Golden Candlestick, until it shines so the sinner in the darkness can believe in Jesus and be saved.

  4. Obeying the Word until the flesh does not sound anymore.
    1 Peter 5:5

5:5 Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."

It starts from the submission of the wife to the husband. The wife keeps silent, corrects her life, worships God a lot, and does not teach or have authority over men.

    1 Peter 5:6
5:6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,

Obeying is like stretching out our hands and surrendering fully to God. He will stretch out His strong hands to lift up and glorify us in due time. It means God makes everything successful and beautiful in time. God employs, sanctifies, and changes us to become a new man. It starts from the mouth that can say 'yes' if yes, and 'no' if no. The honest people will become the house of prayer. All prayers are answered by God. The impossible things become possible. He is able to finish everything.

    1 Peter 5:4
5:4 and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.

Until we do not stumble in word. When Jesus comes a second time, our mouth only cries out 'Alleluia', and we receive the crown of glory and sit together with Jesus on the throne of heaven.

God blesses us.
