Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 21:1-8 can be divided as follows:
- [verse 1] A new heaven and a new earth.
- [verse 2-3] The new man.
- [verse 4-8] The new atmosphere.
Revelation 21:4 21:4. "And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."The new atmosphere is that there is no more death.
1 Samuel 20:3 20:3. Then David took an oath again, and said, "Your father certainly knows that I have found favor in your eyes, and he has said, 'Do not let Jonathan know this, lest he be grieved.' But truly, as the LORD lives and as your soul lives, there is but a step between me and death."In fact, there is but a step or a pulse between us and death, namely the physical death, spiritual death--living in the sin, following the false teaching, and not being fervent in the spiritual things--up to the second death in the hell.
1 Corinthians 15:25-2615:25. For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet.
15:26. The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. The safe place that is free from death in under Jesus' feet.
Let us bring our steps of life or our every pulse to Jesus' feet.
John 11:31-3211:31. Then the Jews who were with her in the house, and comforting her, when they saw that Mary rose up quickly and went out, followed her, saying, "She is going to the tomb to weep there."
11:32. Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, "Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died."The fact of being at Jesus' feet is like Mary who fell down at Jesus' feet to worship Him when she faced the death--Lazarus had died for four days. She worshiped God until Lazarus was raised. There was no more death.
All of our problems in the ocean of the world are blown by Satan with the power of death to make the faith fall, so we drown up to perdition.
So, the safe place from the death or the atmosphere without death is when we are worshipping God.
The requirements of the true worship are as follows:
- Being encouraged by the truth and spirit, namely the true teaching Word in the anointing of Holy Spirit that purifies us.
John 4:23-24
4:23. "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
4:24. "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."
If we hear the true teaching Word in the anointing of Holy Spirit, we will worship God in the true prayer. On the contrary, hearing the false teaching, one will fall into the false prayer.
- Being lifted up in holiness.
Psalm 29:2
29:2. Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
If we hear and obey the Word, we will experience the purification, starting from the heart.
John 17:17
17:17. "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.
The heart is purified from envy, hatred without a cause, anger, enmity, evil, and uncleanness.
The hand is purified from the sinful deed to the holy one.
The words are purified.
As a result, we live in holiness, so we can worship God in the true prayer.
- It is a reflection of the worship in Heaven.
Revelation 19:1,3-4
19:1. After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, "Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God!
19:3. Again they said, "Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!"
19:4. And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, "Amen! Alleluia!"
The worship in Heaven is saying: 'Alleluia'.
Revelation 19:6
19:6. And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
The worship in the earth up to the clouds is saying: 'Alleluia'.
The results of falling down at Jesus' feet or the true prayer are as follows:
- The man refers to a husband or shepherd who has power.
1Timothy 2:8
2:8. I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting;
If a man worships God, there will be the power of Jesus as the Lion of Judah to protect and take care of his marriage and congregation.
We are taken care of physically up to abundance in the midst of the increasing difficulties in the world. We are taken care of until we can give thanks and become the blessing for others.
Spiritually, we are protected from the death, the Antichrist, sin--we keep living in holiness--, and the false teaching--we keep holding fast and obeying to the true teaching Word.
We experience peace, so all things become easy and light.
- The worship of a wife with submission or silence.
1 Timothy 2:9-14
2:9. in like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing,
2:10. but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works.
2:11. Let a woman learn in silencewith all submission.
2:12. And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence.
2:13. For Adam was formed first, then Eve.
2:14. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression.
It means obeying her husband just as she obeys God. The woman does not teach and have authority over man, but just does the good thing.
As a result, God will give honey in the marriage. It refers to the heavenly sweetness or bliss, so there is no more death or tears.
Judges 14:12,18
14:12. Then Samson said to them, "Let me pose a riddle to you. If you can correctly solve and explain it to me within the seven days of the feast, then I will give you thirty linen garments and thirty changes of clothing.
14:18. So the men of the city said to him on the seventh day before the sun went down: "What is sweeter than honey? And what is stronger than a lion?" And he said to them: "If you had not plowed with my heifer, You would not have solved my riddle!"
The riddle of Samson can be answered. The marriage is not difficult like the riddle. We receive the robe of the bride to enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God. We are set free from God's punishment, doomsday, and the hell.
- Mary--the young-- faced Lazarus who had died for four days.
John 11:31-35
11:31. Then the Jews who were with her in the house, and comforting her, when they saw that Mary rose up quickly and went out, followed her, saying, "She is going to the tomb to weep there."
11:32. Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, "Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died."
11:33. Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled.
11:34. And He said, "Where have you laid him?" They said to Him, "Lord, come and see."
11:35. Jesus wept.
It means facing the decay of sin, economic, working, study, and future including impossibility and tears.
We fall down at Jesus' feet to worship Him with a broken heart. We confess that we are just the mortar, namely we are unworthy and incapable. We totally trust and commit ourselves to God. We stretch out our hand of faith. We just depend on God's mercy.
As a result, Jesus stretches out His merciful hand, so the miracle happens. Lazarus was raised. All of the impossible problems are finished by God's power. The decay is changed into fragrance. Failure becomes success and beauty up to perfection.
God blesses us.
