Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 1:1-3 is the title or preface of the book of Revelation.
Revelation 1:3
1:3 Blessedishe who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the timeisnear.
The book of Revelation contains joy. There are seven joys in Revelation that refer to the perfect joy, the Heavenly or eternal one that cannot be affected by anything.
The gate or the beginning of the perfect joy is to read, hear, and obey the true teaching WordThe process is as follows:
- Hearing the true teaching Word solemnly until understanding it.
- Believing to the Word and It becomes faith in heart.
- Practicing and obeying the Word until the flesh does not sound anymore.
The result is we have two things as follow:
- Works of faith.
James 2:17, 26, 19
2:17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
2:19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!
Faith without the works is dead. It is same as the faith of Satan that does not save.
James 2:21
2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar?
The example of works of faith is when Abraham offers Isaac on the altar on mount Moriah. Abraham represents the Israel.
The faith that is practiced makes the works of faith. The result of the works of faith is as follows:
- The perfect faith.
James 2:22
2:22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?
- The resurrection power rises the one that has died or the impossible becomes possible.
Hebrews 11:17-19
11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begottenson,
11:18 of whom it was said,“In Isaac your seed shall be called,”
11:19 concluding that Godwasable to raisehimup, even from the dead, from which he also received him in a figurative sense.
- The creation power creates something that does not exist yet to care us.
Romans 4:17
4:17 (as it is written,“I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;
- The temple of God is built by Solomon on Mount Moriah, the place where Abraham sacrifices Isaac. It means we are employed in the revival of Holy Spirit in the last rain or the building of the perfect body of Christ.
The example of works of faith from the Gentiles is Rahab.
James 2:25
2:25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sentthemout another way?
Rahab is one of the Gentiles who are unclean but she hides the messengers willingly and sends them out from Jericho.
Joshua 2:18
2:18 unless, whenwe come into the land, you bind this line of scarlet cord in the window through which you let us down, and unless you bring your father, your mother, your brothers, and all your father’s household to your own home.
The result of works of faith is the line of scarlet cord. It refers to the power of Jesus’ blood or His sacrifice.
Joshua 2:19
2:19 So it shall bethatwhoever goes outside the doors of your house into the street, his bloodshall beon his own head, and wewill beguiltless. And whoever is with you in the house, his bloodshall beon our head if a hand is laid on him.
The function of Jesus’ blood is as follows:
- Saving the whole family of Gentiles. It gives joy in the midst of destruction of the world.
Ephesians 2:13-16
2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
2:14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,
2:15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is,the law of commandmentscontained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new manfromthe two, thusmaking peace,
2:16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.
- It reconciles and unites the Israel and Gentiles to become one perfect body.
The proof that we have the line of scarlet cord or the blood of Jesus is peace in our heart. There is no fight, envy, revenge, bitterness, disappointment, and desperation.
- Having the perfect love of God or two tablets of stone.
Abraham is able to present Isaac in whom he awaits for the promise of God for twenty five years, his only son, for he loves God more than anything. This is the first tablet of the two tablets of stone.
Rahab hides the messengers and risks her life for she loves others like herself. This is the second tablet of the two tablets of stone.
Thus, if we obey the Word, we will have two tablets of stones or the perfect love of God.
The function of the perfect love of God is as follows:
- Destroying the golden calf that is the hardness of heart.
The hard heart makes us worship the idol. It means we prioritize and love something more than God, so we become unfaithful in ministry.
The hard heart also means getting something but sacrificing God or the true teaching Word.
If the hardness of heart is destroyed, we are able to prioritize God more than anything. We become faithful in ministry and sacrifice anything for God.
The hardness of heart makes us fall in sin up to the peak of sin which is the sin of eating-drinking (smoking, getting drunk, drug abuse) and marrying-being given in marriage (sexual sin and its kinds).
If the hard heart is destroyed, we are able to live in righteousness.
- Making us wise man or the shining star.
Mark 12:30-34
12:30 And you shall love theLordyour God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’Thisisthe first commandment.
12:31 And the second, likeit, isthis: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’There is no other commandment greater than these.”
12:32 So the scribe said to Him, “Wellsaid,Teacher. You have spoken the truth, for there is one God, and there is no other but He.
12:33 And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.”
12:34 Now when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, He said to him,“You are not far from the kingdom of God.” But after that no one dared question Him.
Star means the life that is being employed by God as the testimony of life to win the souls through the Good News and Bride Tidings.
Star also means the successful people, having beautiful and joyful future even in crisis condition.
Ecclesiastes 10:10
10:10 If the ax is dull, and one does not sharpen the edge, then he must use more strength;but wisdom brings success.
We are experiencing the heavenly bliss or ‘not far from the kingdom of God.’
- There are no more questions(Mark 12:34b).
It means no more tears; all problems are solved by God even for the impossible one. Everything is done. We are sanctified little by little until Jesus comes a second and we are changed to be as glory as He is. We enter the marriage supper of the Lamb. It is the peak of heavenly bliss that we are together forever with Him.
God blesses us.
