(To Coincide with Fasting Prayer Service Session III)
Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 3:18-193:18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, thatthe shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.God rebukes, exhorts, and chastens the church of the Laodiceans (the church of the last days) to buy the treasure of heaven so they will not become lukewarm and being vomited by God but please Him.
There are three kinds of the treasure of heavenas follows:
- The gold refined in the fire.
- The white garment to clothe the nakedness.
- The eye salve to anoint the eyes.
We are learning the second point namely the white garment to clothe the nakedness.
2 Corinthians 5:18-195:18 Now all things areof God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,
5:19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
The white garment is the trust garment of God. It is the garment of the ministry of reconciliation. After we are reconciled by the blood of Jesus, we are trusted in ministry and appointed as the priest and king, the servant of God.
Exodus 12:21-2312:21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel and said to them, "Pick out and take lambs for yourselves according to your families, and kill the Passover lamb.
12:22 And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, dip itin the blood that isin the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that isin the basin. And none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning.
12:23 For the Lordwill pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lordwill pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you.The life that is trusted with the white garment (the garment of ministry) is like hyssopthat is used to strike the lintel and two doorposts of the house of Israel with the blood so they are saved.
The hyssop is the weakest moss. It refers to the servant of God that is chosen among the weakest.
1 Corinthians 1:25-281:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
1:26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.
1:27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;
1:28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are,Why does God choose the weakest to be the priests and kings (the servant of God)?
- One will not become arrogant. Arrogance is the same as falling and perdition.
If we do not have anything and God calls us, it means an opportunity to hope and surrender fully to Him. Then, we can be employed by God.
If we have something (cleverness, wealth, et cetera), we must struggle to think that such thing is only as trash, so we can hope fully to God.
- Negating the great things from the world so they admit the power of God.
Acts 4:13
4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.
- To make us work harder than other people by the love and grace of God.
1 Corinthians 15:9-10
15:9 For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which waswith me.
We can be useful for the ministry of the building of the body of Christ.
Acts 18:27
18:27 And when he desired to cross to Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him; and when he arrived, he greatly helped those who had believed through grace;
Exodus 12:2212:22 And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, dip itin the blood that isin the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that isin the basin. And none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning.
The hyssop must be in a bunch so it can be used by God. It means the servant of God must be in unity. It is true fellowship that is based on the true teaching Word. The hyssop joins in ministry of reconciliation two times as follows:
- In the Old Testament, the hyssop is dip in blood to strike the lintel and two doorposts.
It means we suffer willingly to free from sin or being reconciled. We also suffer willingly, do not grumble, nor stumble in ministry.
The more we are reconciled, the more we endure in tribulation and the more we are employed by God in the ministry of reconciliation. We are trusted to testify the Good News; we bring the sinner to believe in Jesus and they can be saved. We are also trusted to testify the Bride Tidings; we bring the saved people to be purified until perfect.
The resultsare as follows:
- The death cannot enter. It means we experience the caring and protection by God miraculously physically and spiritually.
- We experience the joy of heaven.
- In the New Testament, the hyssop brought the sour wine to Jesus' mouth until He said, ''It is finished!''.
John 19:28-30
19:28 After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, "I thirst!"
19:29 Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put iton hyssop, and put itto His mouth.
19:30 So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!"And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.
It means the servant of God brings the sins of congregation to Jesus through intercession prayer and ministry until all sins are forgiven by God. It is the ministry of reconciliation, giving the sour wine for Jesus who thirsts on the cross until He is satisfied. Then, God will give us the new wine or the power of Holy Spirit.
The functions of Holy Spiritare as follows:
- Purifying the Gentiles who are like dog and sow.
Romans 15:16
15:16 that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
Holy Spirit sanctifies from virus of sin that decays so we are burned to become the offering that produces fragrance.
Genesis 8:20-21
8:20 Then Noah built an altar to the Lord, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
8:21 And the Lordsmelled a soothing aroma. Then the Lordsaid in His heart, "I will never again curse the ground for man's sake, although the imagination of man's heart isevil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done.
We are released from the ambience of curse and we experience the ambience of heaven.
- Holy Spirit makes us strong and of good courage.
Romans 5:5
5:5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
We are not disappointed or desperate, and do not leave God when we face anything but we believe and hope Him. We hold fast and obey the true teaching Word. We are faithful and fervent in ministry until the end line. We testify and worship God.
John 16:33
16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
If we are strong and of good courage, we are in the strong hands of God that are able to defeat the world. We experience the peace and everything becomes light and easy. Everything becomes successful and beautiful in due time.
1 Kings 4:33
4:33 Also he spoke of trees, from the cedar tree of Lebanon even to the hyssop that springs out of the wall; he spoke also of animals, of birds, of creeping things, and of fish.
The weak hyssop is able to spring out of the wall. We are weak but live in the strong hands of God that are able to go through the impossibilities. We are cared and protected from Antichrist.
1 Chronicles 28:20
28:20 And David said to his son Solomon, "Be strong and of good courage, and do it;do not fear nor be dismayed, for the LordGod--my God--will bewith you. He will not leave you nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.
The hand of God is able to finish everything. His hands purify us until we become the perfect body of Christ.
God blesses us.
