Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 16:17
16:17 Then the seventh angelpoured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, "It is done!"
The seventh bowl is poured out into the sky, and a loud voice comes out of the throne, saying, "
It is done!" It means that God's punishments have been done and the world receives the great plague or doomsday happens.
1 Peter 4:7-84:7. But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.
4:8. And above all things have fervent love for one another, for "love will cover a multitude of sins."
The end of all things is at hand. That is why we must use the chance to worship, so we are always under the shadow of God.
The prayer is the offer of God that is preached through Peter the apostle. It is the way to truly have the serenity, so we can face the tempest of the world.
Let us worship until we experience serenity.
Philippians 4:6-74:6. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
4:7. and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
We worship God without anxiety or in peace that is beyond our mind because it is based on the stable faith through the preaching of the Word of God.
Matthew 8:23-278:23. Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him.
8:24. And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep.
8:25. Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, "Lord, save us! We are perishing!"
8:26. But He said to them, "Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?" Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.
8:27. So the men marveled, saying, "Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?"
'
He was asleep' is the example of serenity.
Our following God will also face a great tempest. God never promises that there is no tempest.
Why does God allow the tempest to happen? It is the test of our faith to Him, so we have the stable faith before Him.
A great tempest arises suddenly that cannot be predicted.
How can we face it? Jesus must always be in our boat of life. It means that we must minister to God faithfully and fervently. It is the fact that Jesus is in our boat of life. Do not be lukewarm!
The matter of our boat of life's drowning or not is not caused by the waves, but whether there is Jesus or not in our boat of life; whether we are faithful or not.
It Jesus does not exist, we will surely drown even though the tempest is small. But if Jesus exists, how great the tempest is, we will not drown.
Jesus is asleep in the midst of the tempest in the ocean of the world. It means as follows:
- Jesus dies on the cross, but He is risen and ascends to heaven to become the High Priest who sits at the right hand of the Father God.
Hebrews 2:14-18
2:14. Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,
2:15. and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
2:16. For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham.
2:17. Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priestin things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.
2:18. For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.
Jesus sits at the right hand of Father God to do the things as follows:
- Making propitiation for the sins of the people, because the sin is the heaviest burden of men from the world up to hell.
- Aiding us in His time.
If the sin has finished, the problem will be finished by God, too.
- Jesus gives the pattern of the serenity of faith in the tempest of the ocean of the world.
There is no more doubt.
- Jesus is testing us whether we trust, hope, and love Him more than anything or not.
If we trust and hope God, we will be able to worship Him in faith. We cry out Jesus' name.
Matthew 8:25
8:25. Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, "Lord, save us! We are perishing!"
Crying out Jesus' name is the same as stretching out the hand of faith to God. It is what God waits in the midst of our difficulties. And He will stretch out His merciful hand with the power of resurrection to us.
The results are as follows:
- God's power of resurrection is able to renew us from the fleshly men who doubt to God Himself and His power to become obedient.
Matthew 8:27
8:27. So the men marveled, saying, "Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?"
The waves and the sea can become obedient, moreover men can do it. It is God's justice. The important thing is our will, whether we obey God or not.
- God's power of resurrection is able to calm all wind and waves in the ocean of the world.
Matthew 8:26
8:26. But He said to them, "Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?" Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.
Being calm means making propitiation for our sins. His love covers our sins, so we experience peace. All things become easy and light. All of sins have been taken by Jesus on the cross.
God's power of resurrection is also able to finish all of impossible problems.
We also experience God's power of preservation in the midst of the big and impossible difficulties until the Antichrist reigns over the world for three and a half years.
- God's merciful hand guides us to the haven of peace, namely the New Jerusalem forever.
Psalm 107:28-30
107:28. Then they cry out to the LORD in their trouble, And He brings them out of their distresses.
107:29. He calms the storm, So that its waves are still.
107:30. Then they are glad because they are quiet; So He guides them to their desired haven.
Lord Jesus renews us up to being spotless. The sin is reconciled, the problem is finished, and the tears are wiped. We experience the heavenly kingdom in the midst of the sufferings of the world. We have beautiful and successful future.
If we lie, we will weep; even we have the total failure of the future.
When Jesus comes a second time, we will be changed to become as perfect as He is, so we are worthy to greet His second coming on the glorious clouds. We do not stumble in words. We just say, 'Alleluia'. We enter the One-Thousand-Year Kingdom of Peace (the upcoming Paradise)--the big peace--and the New Jerusalem--the eternal peace.
God waits for us crying out His name and stretching out our hand to Him.
God blesses us.
