Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 14 is about the seven sprinklings of blood in front of the Ark of Covenant. It refers to the suffering in the flesh of the church together with Jesus as the last sanctification for reachingthe quality of being flawless or perfect.
Revelation 14 can be divided into three parts as follows:
- Verse 1-5 = the church's following Jesus as the Lamb of God (it is explained inGeneral Service in Malang,August 15, 2021).
- Verse 6-13 = the judgment.
- Verse 14-20 = the reaping on the earth.
ad. 1.
Our following Jesus will decide whether we enter the judgement or the reaping. If it is wrong, we will enter the judgement. Otherwise, the true one will lead us to the reaping.
Revelation 14:114:1.Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father's name written on their foreheads.
There is the sprinkling of blood. Also, there is the following.
Thus, the church's following Jesus is signified by the sprinklings of blood, so there is the increasing sanctification up to the Mount Zion or the quality of perfection as the heavenly bride.
'
one hundred and forty-four thousand' = the core of the heavenly bride.
1 Peter2:6-72:6.Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture,"Behold, I lay in Ziona chief cornerstone, elect, precious, and he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame."
2:7.Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient,"
The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone, anda stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense."
The cornerstone is the foundation of the church's following Jesus as the Lamb of God up to the perfection.
The precious cornerstone refers to the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross.
The true attitude of the church of God is to respect the sacrifice of Christ, so we can be freed from sins up to the peak and become the living stone or the precious vessel to be used in building the perfect body of Christ up to reaching the quality of perfection.
Conversely, there is a bad attitude. When the church of God hardens the heart because of keeping sins up to the peak, they will become the stumbling block.
Matthew 18:618:6."Whoever causesone of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstonewere hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
'
causes ones who believe in Me to sin' = to make others stumble.
The stumbling block means to make others stumble or stumbling oneself easily.
The situations of the church of God who becomes the stumbling block are as follows:
- Always spinning to grind the wheat like a millstone.
It means as follows:
- Being in tiredness, heavy burden, and great difficulty because one is only looking for the physical matters in the service and ministry to God. Consequently, he is marked with the number triple six.
- Losing direction or not increasing up to the hill of Sion. It means that one cannot reach the quality of the bride.
- Being used in building the Babylon, the false church, or the bride of Antichrist who will be thrown down in this world up to the sea of fire and brimstone.
Revelation 18:21
18:21.Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstoneand threw it into the sea, saying, "Thus with violence the great city Babylonshall be thrown down, and shall not be found anymore.
What makes the church of God become the stumbling block? The wealth, the physical gold and silver.
Ezekiel 7:19-237:19.'They will throw their silver into the streets, and their gold will be like refuse;Their silver and their gold will not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord; They will not satisfy their souls, nor fill their stomachs, because it became their stumbling blockof iniquity.
7:20.'As for the beauty of his ornaments,He set it in majesty; But they made from itThe images of their abominations--their detestable things; Therefore I have made it like refuse to them.
7:21.I will give it as plunder into the hands of strangers, and to the wicked of the earth as spoil; And they shall defile it.
7:22.I will turn My face from them, and they will defile My secret place; For robbers shall enter it and defile it.
7:23.'Make a chain, for the land is filled with crimes of blood, and the city is full of violence.
The wealth becomes the stumbling block because one is falsely using God's blessings.
The facts found in it are as follows:
- It is only for beautifying oneself = being egoistic and arrogant, namely being too proud or relying on the gold and silver physically.
- It becomes idol as follows:
- Serving and ministering to God only to look for the physical gold and silver.
- Leaving the service and ministry to God only to look for the wealth physically.
- Looking for money in illegal ways.
- Stinginess and greediness.
Stinginess means that one cannot give.
Greediness means stealing the possession of others, especially God's, namely the tithes and offerings.
It is the same as turning the house of God into the den of thieves.
Therefore, the church of God must have the gold and silver spiritually to avoid their being the stumbling block.
How can we do that?
- We must become the priests and kings or the living stones, namely the servants of God who serve and minister to Him according to the ministry which He has entrusted to us.
- The sanctification to the outward and inward man.
Malachi 3: 1-3
3:1. "Behold, I send My messenger, and he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple, even the Messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight. Behold, He is coming," says the Lord of hosts.
3:2. "But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner's fireand like launderers' soap.
3:3. He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer to the Lord an offering in righteousness.
Those are as follows:
- The sanctification by the launderers' soap. It refers to the sanctification by the shepherding Word or the true teaching Word that is repeated which can sanctify the clothes of the servants of God from the stain of evil and laziness.
The stains of evil and laziness make the servant of God useless and live in the darkness or become the stumbling block.
Laziness means being unfaithful in the service and ministry.
Evil means that one likes to hit other servants of God through gossiping and slandering, or hurting fellow servants.
By being evil and lazy, one will also have the uncleanness and bitterness.
Those must be sanctified, so we become the faithful and kind servants of God, namely only doing good to fellow servants. It includes giving to others who are in need up to repaying evil with kindness.
As a result, we experience the happiness of Heaven and are trusted in the ministry of building the perfect body of Christ.
- The sanctification by refiner's fire. It refers to the sanctification through the sprinkling of blood which creates glory or the spiritual gold and silver.
1 Peter 4:12-13
4:12. Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trialwhich is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;
4:13. but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ's sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.
Proverbs 10:20
10:20.The tongue of the righteous is choice silver; the heart of the wicked is worth little.
The spiritual silver means being honest. We can never be the stumbling block.
Our honesty starts from the matter of God or the true teaching Word. When we are not honest about the true teaching Word, we can never be honest about other things.
When we are honest about God, we will be honest about His possessions, namely giving the tithes. And then, we are honest in marriage and financial things, confessing sins, up to everything.
The spiritual gold means being obedient.
By being honest and obedient, we become the house of prayer. These are the things we must have, and we will never stumble. But we receive the seal of the name of God and ascend to the hill of Zion.
Acts 3:6
3:6.Then Peter said, "Silver and goldI do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christof Nazareth, rise up and walk."
We can shout the name of Jesus, so we receive the power of His name.
The results are as follows:
- The power of healing from spiritual lameness or the power of renewal.
Acts 3:6-10
3:6.Then Peter said, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk."
3:7.And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
3:8.So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them--walking, leaping, and praising God.
3:9.And all the people saw him walking and praising God.
3:10.Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
The spiritual lameness means being unfaithful.
God is able to renew us from unfaithfulness to faithfulness in spirit in the service and ministry to God.
If we do not serve to God, we will weep.
The spiritual lameness also means the sin of uncleanness.
God renews it to become living in holiness.
Being holy, faithful, and fervent in spirit is the same as becoming the apple of God's eye. So, we receive protection and preservation from God in this difficult era up to the time when Antichrist rules over the world.
Being lame also means that one who once sat and begged or became the burden now becomes the testifier even the house of prayer. In the past, one relied on money, now he relies on God's mercy.
- The power of healing from spiritual lameness means being healed from physical illness, and the impossible problems are solved by God.
- The power of lifting. It means that our lives become successful and beautiful. The broken marriage can become true, holy, one, happy, even perfect.
When Jesus comes, we will be renewed to be perfect like Him to be worthy of welcoming His second coming on the glorious clouds. We enter the Paradise and the New Jerusalem forever.
God blesses us.
