Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 1:17-181:17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.
1:18 I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am aliveforevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.
John fell at Jesus’ feet means worshiping until the heart is broken; the flesh does not sound anymore as dead. John feels the touch of God’s right hand until he experiences the things as follows:
- “Do not be afraid”means the feeling renewal until there is no more fear but the confidence to believe in God.
- “I am the First and the Last”means receiving the love of God that is increasing from the first love until the perfect one.
- “I was dead, and am alive”means experiencing the power of victory over the death or receiving the key of kingdom of heaven.
Revelation 1:181:18 I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.
Matthew 16:18-1916:18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.
16:19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”Jesus died and rose to defeat the death so He held the key of Hades to close the door of Hades for us. Thus, we win from death and receive the key of kingdom of heaven.
Acts 14:2214:22 strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, “We must through many tribulationsenter the kingdom of God.”The key of kingdom of heaven is the cross. It means suffering in flesh with Jesus.
2 Corinthians 4:16-184:16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.
4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,
4:18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Why do we need experiencing the cross, suffering in flesh with Jesus? So we experience the life renewal from carnal men to spiritual ones like Jesus.
1 Corinthians 15:5015:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption.
Why do we need the renewal of life? Because the flesh men cannot enter the kingdom of heaven.
Romans 6:46:4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
The water baptism is the lightest of suffering flesh with Jesus so we are renewed and get the newness of life that is the heavenly life. After that, we enter the perseverance of three kinds of service in shepherding, fasting prayer, the sprinkling of blood,
et cetera.
What must be renewed? It starts from heart, the source of our spiritual life. If the heart is renewed, our whole life can be renewed.
James 3:11-123:11 Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening?
3:12 Can a fig tree, my brethren, bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh.
- The heart contains fresh water. It means losing heart, being disappointed and hopeless, leaving God, the proud of physical things. Those will be change to being strong and of good courage, always giving thanks to God.
- The heart contains bitter water. It means the bitterness of heart, envy, spite, hatred without reason, et cetera.
- The heart contains salt water. It means the conscience that is dead because of being controlled by the sin up to the peak of sin which is the eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage.
Let our heart be changed to become the good conscience, the obedient heart to the Word whatever the risk may come.
Acts 5:325:32 And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.”The obedient heart is able to contain the water of life from heaven, namely Holy Spirit.
The function of Holy Spirit is as follows:
- Giving heavenly satisfaction that cannot be affected by anything in this world.
John 7:37-39
7:37 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.
7:38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”
7:39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the HolySpirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
We will not look for satisfaction in this world that makes us fall in sin of Babylon, namely the sin of eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage.
The water of life flows to others who are in need, which is testifying, the good and right saying that becomes blessing for others. It is also giving and visiting which are the right and good deed for others who are in need.
- The water of life that is springing up encourages us to worship God.
John 4:14
4:14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”
Romans 8:26-28
8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
8:27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Holy Spirit helps us to worship God with groaning which cannot be uttered. It is like worshiping with other tongues or broken heart as baby crying out until God has mercy.
The result is Holy Spirit makes everything good, successful, and beautiful in time. Everything is solved in due time, the impossible become possible.
Luke 7:13-14
7:13 When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, “Do not weep.”
7:14 Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, “Young man, I say to you, arise.”
Especially the marriage and children that are in ruin can be recovered by God. There is joy in it.
- We are changed until perfect and there is no stumble in word.
James 3:2
3:2 For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.
Revelation 19:6-7
19:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.”
We can greet the second coming of Jesus on the glorious clouds, enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God, a thousand years Kingdom of Peace, until the New Jerusalem.
God blesses us.
