Delayed Broadcast from Prayer Service in MedanPeace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Luke 9: 28-299:28. Now it came to pass, about eight days after these sayings, that He took Peter, John, and James and went up on the mountain to pray.
9:29. As He prayed, the appearance of His face was altered, and His robe became white and glistening.
Eight days after the teaching, Jesus took His disciples to go up on the mountain to pray.
It means that the true worship is driven by the true teaching word in the anointing of Holy Spirit, so our prayer can ascend into God's presence and obtain favor before Him.
Revelation 19:619:6. And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
The true worship will culminate to the one on the glorious clouds by saying: '
Alleluia!' to greet Jesus when He comes a second time in the glory as the King of kings and the Heavenly Bridegroom, then we enter the Paradise and New Jerusalem or kingdom of heaven forever. We worship God forever.
It is the true worship that is exemplified by Jesus on the mountain.
But be careful! There is false worship.
Revelation 13: 11-1213:11. Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.
13:12. And he exercises all the authority of the first beastin his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
'
he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon'= false prophet.
'
the first beast'= antichrist.
The false worship is driven by false teaching and miracles, and also without purification and renewal of life.
The false worship will culminate to the one of the antichrist that will be destroyed in the hell forever.
Let our prayer be earnestly driven by the true teaching word in the anointing of Holy Spirit up to the peak, namely the perfection in heaven forever.
The results of the true worship are as follows:
- Establishing God's call and election to us.
Luke 9: 35
9:35. And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!"
It means as follows:
- Being stable in the true teaching word. We are not shaken by false teaching and gossips.
- Being stable in righteousness and holiness. We are not shaken and tempted by sins.
- Being stable in the ministry that God gives to us.
Do not be like Judas who leaved the ministry, so his ministry as taken by others. He became naked, burst open in the middle, and perished forever.
1 Timothy 1: 12
1:12. And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry,
The example of life who is stable in God's call and election, and ministry is Paul the apostle.
Being stable in the ministry means as follows:
- Being faithful and trustworthy.
- Being faithful and responsible.
- Ministering God faithfully and fervently according to the ministry that God gives to him until the finish line.
As a result, he will become the shining star that is used by God in the building of the perfect body of Christ, and he is worthy to greet Jesus when He comes a second time on the glorious clouds.
If we become a shining star, our life will be successful and beautiful until we are worthy to greet Jesus when He comes a second time and enter the kingdom of heaven forever.
Be watchful! There is the falling star.
Revelation 12:4a
12:4a. His tail drew a third of the stars of heavenand threw them to the earth.
That is why the priest must worship God, so he is stable in God's call and election. A third of the stars will be drawn by the dragon's tail.
It means as follows:
- Not being stable in the true teaching.
- Not being stable in righteousness and holiness, and starting sinning.
- Not being stable in the ministry. One does not minister to God faithfully and fervently anymore up to leaving the ministry like Judas.
The consequence is the darkness. It means that he experiences destruction and failure up to perdition forever.
- The happiness that is linked with Tabernacle(three tabernacles), namely the court, the holy place, and the most holy place. It is the same as heavenly bliss.
Luke 9:33
9:33. Then it happened, as they were parting from Him, that Peter said to Jesus, "Master, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah" --not knowing what he said.
We experience the heavenly bliss in the worship prayer as follows:
- The happiness that cannot be influenced by anything in the world. We are happy although we are sick or not rich.
Peter did not say: 'Master, it is good for us to be here' when he experienced the miracle of the five loaves and the two fish for five thousand men. But, he could say that on the high and cold mountain. It is the meaning of the happiness that cannot be influenced by anything in the world.
- The happiness in suffering because of Jesus, righteousness, and ministry.
Acts 5: 41
5:41. So they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name.
The heavenly bliss will culminate to the eternal one in heaven.
Luke 9: 32-33
9:32. But Peter and those with him were heavy with sleep; and when they were fully awake, they saw His glory and the two men who stood with Him.
9:33. Then it happened, as they were parting from Him, that Peter said to Jesus, "Master, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah" --not knowing what he said.
Be careful! Peter did not know what he said because he had slept in the worship prayer.
It means sleeping while worshiping God or being lazy in the worship prayer. He does not worship God fervently but tends to get bored, be tormented, or of necessity in prayer. We must be careful.
The consequences are as follows:
- He does not understand and experience the happiness, but loses the happiness, so he suffers much; even he suffers in the midst of happiness.
- Starting to be unstable in the calling and election, teaching, righteousness, and ministry.
- We experience the biggest spiritual miracle, namely the renewal of life from fleshly men to spiritual ones like Jesus.
Luke 9:29
9:29. As He prayed, the appearance of His face was altered, and His robe became white and glistening.
The renewal of life starts from face.
The face of Jesus shines as the sun.
The face refers to the heart. The renewal of face is the same as the one of heart from the hard heart to become the following hearts:
- The gentle heart.
- The heart that receives the love of God, so it just contains the love of God. The sun refers to the love of God.
- Peaceful heart. It means that we do not feel anything that flesh feels such as hatred, fear, envy, evil, et cetera, but we just feel the love of God.
- Obedient heart.
- The heart that believes and hopes God. There is no doubt, but we only stretch out our hands to Him. We trust and cry to God.
If we have the gentle heart, our face will beam.
Let us trust and cry to God no matter our condition is. Let God bear all things. Our face will beam.
Next, God will stretch out His merciful and powerful hands to us to perform physical miracle as follows:
- The preservation of our life abundantly until we give thanks to God and become blessing for others.
Approaching his death, Moses was sentenced by God that he might not enter Canaan.
But by the worship prayer, he could stand at Canaan, a land flowing with milk and honey. It refers to preservation.
- The power to take away the impossibility. It was impossible for Moses to enter Canaan, but he could be there through the worship prayer.
All impossible problems are finished by the power of God in the worship prayer, moreover when it is added with fasting prayer and all night-long prayer.
- The power of God that makes all things successful and beautiful in due time.
Actually, Moses had failed because he might not have entered Canaan, but his life became successful and beautiful through the worship prayer.
We experience miracle continuously until we are changed to become as glorious as God when He comes a second time. Our face shines as the sun to greet His second coming on the glorious clouds. We are with Him forever.
God blesses us.
