Peace in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The whole Matthew 27 refers to
seven sprinklings of blood upon the Ark of Covenant.
Now it means the suffering Jesus experiences up to His death on the cross to save, purify, and perfect us.
We are learning the fourth, namely
Jesus is crucified and dead[Matthew 27:32-50].
Verse 45-50 is about the crucifixion time.
There are some things that happen at the crucifixion time. The first thing is darkness.
Matthew 27:45
27:45 Now from the sixth hour until the ninth hour there was darkness over all the land.
There are three kinds of darkness that happen on the earth as follows.
- Darkness for three days in Egypt when the Israelites are going to go out of Egypt.
Exodus 10:22
10:22 So Moses stretched out his hand toward heaven, and there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days.
- Darkness for three hours when Jesus is crucified.
Matthew 27:45
27:45 Now from the sixth hour until the ninth hour there was darkness over all the land.
- Darkness for three years and half on the earth on the days of antichrist’s reigning over the world. It will happen for sure.
Matthew 24:29
24:29 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
Antichrist will torment and kill the sons of God who are left in the world in that time while the others will be fled on the wilderness to get the preservation and protection of God.
Revelation 12:17
12:17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
The target of antichrist is the son or servant of God who does not have the golden altar of incense, meaning as follows.
- Being unfaithful, even not worshiping God.
- Worshiping God but the flesh still speaks or fears of something until there is no fear to the Lord.
Consequently, one is left in the world when antichrist reigns over it. He is not fled to the wilderness but forced to worship antichrist.
There are two possibilities that happen to the people who are left on the days when antichrist reigns over the world as follows.
- They cannot endure the torment until they worship antichrist and deny Jesus. Consequently, they are stamped 666 and become same as antichrist who will perish when Jesus comes a second time.
- They do not worship antichrist but keep on worshiping Jesus, so they get the great torment until the cutting on their neck. As a result, they are resurrected in glorious body and lifted up on glorious clouds together with Jesus.
The second possibility will be difficult to happen because they cannot endure the torment, so it is better for us now to solemnly worship God until the flesh does not speak anymore.
The measurement of the worship prayer is as follows.
- The Word of God.
Revelation 11:1
11:1 Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, "Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there.
The reed refers to the rod of a shepherd or Shepherding Word, that is the true teaching Word God trusts to a pastor.
The practice of fulfilling the measurement of the Shepherding Word is as follows.
- Listening to the Shepherding Word solemnly as our need and not giving any opportunity to hear strange voice.
- Understanding it.
- Believing in it until we have faith in our heart.
- Practicing or obeying it until our flesh does not sound anymore.
- The love of God.
John 14:15
14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments.
The practice is as follows.
- Loving God more than anything, so we can choose Him when we have to choose between God and something in the world.
- Loving other people as we love ourselves, meaning we do not want to give disadvantage to other people but blessings to them. Moreover, we do not repay evil for evil and there is no hatred, revenge, envy, et cetera.
Thus, the measurement of worship prayer is the obedience and love. It is as we lift our hands to God and He will stretch His hands to us.
The result will be real as follows.
- The merciful hands of God are stretched to give us extra power. We can get peace for our soul although we have been disappointed, hopeless, and heavy laden.
Zephaniah 3:16-18
3:16 In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: "Do not fear; Zion, let not your hands be weak.
3:17 The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."
3:18 "I will gather those who sorrow over the appointed assembly, Who are among you, To whom its reproach is a burden.
The peace for our soul means we feel nothing about flesh matters. There is no worry, hatred, bitterness in heart, et cetera.
- The merciful hands of God are stretched to give us victory over enemies, meaning all problems are solved and we get victory over all failures. We win and all matters are finished and successful.
Zephaniah 3:17a
3:17 The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save;
- The merciful hands of God renew us from carnal men to spiritual ones as Jesus is.
Zephaniah 3: 17b
3:17b He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."
It begins from the renewal of our mouth that determines whether we will enter heaven or not. There must be no lie in our mouth but honesty and confession of our sins. There is nothing hidden but we can say "yes" if "yes" and "no" if "no". The honesty means spiritual miracle. Afterwards, the physical ones will happen for sure. If our mouth has been honest, all impossible things can be made possible and we have beauty and sweetness of life. We are renewed until we become as glorious as Jesus is when He comes a second time. We do not stumble in words but only say "Alleluia".
God blesses you.
