Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 1:17
1:17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.
John fell at Jesus’ feet means worshiping until the heart is broken; the flesh does not sound anymore as dead. John feels the touch of God’s right hand until he experiences the things as follows:
- “Do not be afraid”means the feeling renewal until there is no more fear but the confidence to believe in God.
- “I am the First and the Last”means receiving the love of God.
“I am the First”(the Altar of Burnt Offering) refers to the persona of Jesus as the Savior, the first coming of Jesus to the world to die on the cross to save the sinner, or the beginning of love.
“I am the Last”(the Ark of Covenant) refers to the persona of Jesus as the Bridegroom of Heaven. It refers to the second coming of Jesus to lift up us to the glorious clouds, the perfect love, or the love of the sun.
Falling at Jesus’ feet to worship God and experience the touch of His hand, we receive the beginning of love until the perfect love, or the love of the sun.
The functions of the love of the sun are as follows:
- Facing the spiritual winter.
John 10:22
10:22 Now it was the Feast of Dedication in Jerusalem, and it was winter.
The hatred without reason happens in marriage such as quarreling, infidelity, divorce, remarrying up to marrying - being given in marriage.
The spiritual winter also happens in shepherding, inter shepherding, the church, in the servants and children of God. For example, the brothers of Joseph have envy, hate without reason, and sell Joseph. It happens because Joseph is blessed by God. Envy means making blessing of God small until someday losing it.
Joseph also has the tunic of many colors; it means he is employed by God. Envy means making God’s employment to us small until someday losing it.
- Facing the cloudiness and rain, the temptation and impossible problems. When the sun shines through the cloudy sky and rain, there will be a rainbow.
Genesis 9:13-17
9:13 I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.
9:14 It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud;
9:15 and I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.
9:16 The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look on it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.”
9:17 And God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that is on the earth.”
In the Old Testament, the rainbow is the covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh on the earth. In the New Testament, it is replaced in the form of anointing of Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:16-18
2:16 But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
2:17 ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams.
2:18 And on My menservants and on My maidservantsI will pour out My Spirit in those days;and they shall prophesy.
The rainbow refers to the anointing oil, infilling, and overflows in Holy Spirit.
The functions of rainbow (the anointing oil of Holy Spirit) are as follows:
- The rainbow in the cloud, it means no punishment or perdition from God.
Genesis 9:15
9:15 and I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.
Romans 8:1-2, 13
8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
8:13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
Holy Spirit punishes the flesh (the deed of sin) so we can live in righteousness and holiness until eternal life, we do not enter the punishment.
- The rainbow on the head. It means the anointing oil of Holy Spirit controls our mind so we cannot be deceived by the evil through the false teaching.
Revelation 10:1
10:1 I saw still another mighty angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was on his head, his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.
2 Corinthians 11:2-3
11:2 For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
11:3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
Eve was deceived by the serpent so she ate the fruit that was forbidden by God and gave to her husband. Now, woman teaches and commands over man in service and household.
1 Timothy 2:11-14
2:11 Let a woman learn in silence with all submission.
2:12 And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence.
2:13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve.
2:14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression.
The head of man is Jesus, and the head of woman is man. If woman puts herself as the head, the serpent will be the head of service and household.
If mind is controlled by Holy Spirit, the woman will learn in silence with all submission. It means putting the man as the head or Jesus as the head of service and household so we can feel the presence of God.
- The rainbow around the throne.
Revelation 4:3
4:3 And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald.
Seeing the rainbow around the throne is falling at Jesus’ feet or worshiping with a broken heart.
John 11:3-5
11:3 Therefore the sisters sent to Him, saying, “Lord, behold, he whom You love is sick.”
11:4 When Jesus heard that, He said, “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.”
11:5 Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus.
God allows the impossible problem to happen so that we can fall at His feet.
John 11:31-32
31 Then the Jews who were with her in the house, and comforting her, when they saw that Mary rose up quickly and went out, followed her, saying, “She is going to the tomb to weep there.”
32 Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.”
We can worship God with a broken heart and confess that we are the unworthy mortar with a lot of sin and mistake, hoping only to His grace. We will see the glory of God and the miracle will happen.
John 11:39-40
11:39 Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.”
11:40 Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?”
The spiritual miracle is the renewal of life. The hard heart, counting on human logic, and the doubtful heart will be changed into heart that trusts and entrusts fully to God. It means stretching out our hands to God. He will stretch out His hands to do the physical miracle. The ruined becomes good and the impossible becomes possible.
Until Jesus comes a second time, we will be changed as glorious as He is.
God blesses us.
