Record of Prayer Service in MalakaPeace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
John 20:21-2220:21. So Jesus said to them again, "Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you."
20:22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit.
It tells us about the deputation. All of us are being sent by God in the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain or the edification of the perfect body of Christ. It begins from the marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding, until Israelites and the Gentiles become one perfect body of Christ or the heavenly bride.
God uses us in the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain. It is not to burden, torment, or make us in sufferings, but because of the following purposes:
- We are not used by Satan in edifying the body of Babylon or his bride who is perfect in evil and uncleanness and will be destroyed.
Not being used in the body of Christ, one will be used in the body of Babylon for sure.
- We are as perfect as Jesus is or become the heavenly bride who is ready to welcome His second coming and we are joyful with Him forever.
The atmosphere of the deputation is like a lamb among wolves. It means fear, impossibility, many shakings, and so on.
Therefore, God gives us Holy Spirit.
The requirement of receiving Holy Spirit is the peaceful heart [John 20:21].
Ephesians 4:30-324:30. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
4:31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.
4:32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ forgave you.
The ways to get the peaceful heart are as follows:
- We must throw away bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, evil speaking, and malice.
- We must be:
- Kind to one another. We always do good things; even we can repay good for evil.
- Tenderhearted. We are merciful so that we do not judge sinful people. We also do neither agree with them nor take part in sins, but bring them to God through the prayer or service and ministry to Him so that they can hear the Word and get His help.
- Confessing and forgiving one another to finish all sins.
Why does God give Holy Spirit? He gives us Holy Spirit because we face the shaking and challenge as follows:
- From outside, we face crises in all aspects.
- From inside, we face the flesh with all of its weaknesses as follows:
- Unfaithfulness in the marriage, shepherding, and fellowship.
Holy Spirit will make us always faithful and fervent in spirit in the service and ministry to God until the end line, namely our death or Jesus' second coming.
- Always committing sins up to the peak, namely the sins concerning eating-drinking such as smoking, getting drunk, and drugs abuse as well as the ones of marrying-being given in marriage. Such sins often happen to the servants of God like Hophni and Phinehas as well as Judas Iscariot. Consequently, they will enter the edification of Babylon.
All of them cannot be fought by fleshly power and intelligence, but only by the power of Holy Spirit so that we can keep on being used by God.
Titus 3: 53:5. not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
Holy Spirit is able to perform the greatest spiritual miracle in the midst of us, namely changing us from the fleshly men who are full of weaknesses to the spiritual ones like Jesus is. We only cry out "Abba, Father". It means honesty and obedience until the flesh does not speak anymore.
One who is used by God in the edification of the perfect body of Christ is His servant who is anointed by Holy Spirit, always honest, and obedient. As a result, we become the house of prayer. We lift up our prayer in honesty and obedience and Holy Spirit will perform the physical miracle. Moreover, the help of God will be true more and more in our life.
The examples of the honest and obedient as well as the results are as follows:
- Moses was used by God to bring Israelites out of Egypt to go to Canaan. It refers to the edification of the perfect body of Christ.
Exodus 14:15-16,21
14:15. And the LORD said to Moses, "Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward.
14:16 "But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.
14:21 Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east windall that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided.
The strong east wind refers to Holy Spirit.
Moses faced the Red Sea in front of him, Pharaoh and his army behind, and the wilderness which could not be passed on the right and the left side. Such things refer to the impossible and terrible problem. He cried. It means grumbling, murmuring, blaming God and others, and doubting God Himself or the true teaching Word and His power.
Moses refers to a father or pastor who often faces spiritual and physical dead-end.
Holy Spirit is able to change him to be honest and obedient as well as confess the powerlessness. We only lift up our hands to God and He stretches out the hands of Holy Spirit to divide the Red Sea. It means finishing all impossible problems and opening the way out even the door of heaven for us.
- The widow of Zarephath or the Gentile.
1 Kings 17:7,11-12,17
17:7. And it happened after a while that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.
17:11 And as she was going to get it, he called to her and said, "Please bring me a morsel of bread in your hand."
17:12 So she said, "As the LORD your God lives, I do not have bread, only a handful of flour in a bin, and a little oil in a jar; and see, I am gathering a couple of sticks that I may go in and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it, and die."
17:17 Now it happened after these things that the son of the woman who owned the house became sick. And his sickness was so serious that there was no breath left in him.
She refers to a mother who faces the following things:
- Economy crisis.
- Crisis in the marriage and children or the love crisis. Her son was dead.
- Impossibility, especially the disease.
She was disappointed and hopeless.
The crisis indeed happens in the time of deputation, but there is Holy Spirit who changes us from the fleshly man to the spiritual one like Jesus, namely we are honest and obedient.
The widow of Zarephath confessed that she had nothing and could do nothing. She was also obedient to make the bread for God first. It means prioritizing the service and ministry to God or loving Him more than anything.
As a result, God stretches out the hands of Holy Spirit to help us, the Gentiles. All impossible diseases are cured. The economy crisis is restored. The destruction in the marriage and children can be united and made joyful.
- Martha and Lazarus.
John 11: 39-40
11:39. Jesus said, "Take away the stone." Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, "Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days."
11:40 Jesus said to her, "Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?"
They refer to youth.
Lazarus has died four days. It means impossible problem, rottenness in sins up to the peak, failure, and broken future life.
The youth often keep the stone or the hard heart, rottenness, sins, and disobedience.
If it continues, they will be more rotten and perish.
We give thanks to God because Holy Spirit helps us. He changes the youth to be honest before God and other people, obedient, and believing. Do not be an unbeliever! For youth, it is not as easier as turning the palm of the hand, but for God, it is easier than turning the palm of the hand.
When we are honest and obedient, the rotten things will be fragrant like Lazarus who was roused. We will be used by God to bring the fragrance of Christ anywhere. The failure is changed into success and beauty right in His time. Impossible things will be made possible. All problems are finished. Every step of our life is in miracles until the last one when Jesus comes a second time that we are changed to be as perfect as He is. We only cry out "Alleluia" to welcome His second coming. We are with Him forever.
God blesses you.
