Matthew 14:14-2114:14 And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.
14:15 When it was evening, His disciples came to Him, saying, “This is a deserted place, and the hour is already late. Send the multitudes away, that they may go into the villages and buy themselves food.”
14:16 But Jesus said to them, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.”
14:17 And they said to Him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.”
14:18 He said, “Bring them here to Me.”
14:19 Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes.
14:20 So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained.
14:21 Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children.
Jesus feeds five thousand men with five loaves and two fish. In order to experience the miracle, we must follow God’s command that is sitting on the grass. It means we must be in the shepherding assuredly.
It starts from man. It refers to a shepherd must be in the shepherding assuredly and it is continued with all congregation. The man also refers to a husband be in the shepherding assuredly and it is continued with wife and children.
Being in the shepherding assuredly means as follows:
- Persevering in the three kinds of service assuredly.
Acts 2:42
2:42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.
- Being obedient assuredly.
Philippians 2:12
2:12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;
It is the proof that we already eat the shepherding Word.
In order to persevere and obey the Word, we must be purified from the things as follows:
- The deed of sin.
Romans 13:12-13
13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.
13:13 Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy.
- The deed of flesh.
Galatians 5:19-21
5:19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
5:20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
5:21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told youin time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
- The false teaching.
1 Timothy 4:1-2
4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,
4:2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,
Revelation 2:20
2:20 "Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.
The teaching of Jezebel allows woman to teach and give command over man.
Revelation 17:1-5
17:1 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, "Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters,
17:2 "with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication."
17:3 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
17:4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication.
17:5 And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
The teaching of Babylon offers the prosperity and physical entertain.
Revelation 2:14-15
2:14 "But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.
2:15 "Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.
The teaching of Balaam looks for physical wage. The teaching of Nicolaitans legalizes all ways to catch a lot of people in order to get a lot of money.
If we are sanctified, we can persevere in three kinds of service in shepherding. Our body, soul, and spirit become calm, cared, until perfect.
1 Thessalonians 5:235:23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Philippians 2:12, 142:12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; 2:14 Do all things without complaining and disputing, We can be assured in obedience, we are not afraid of something but fear to God, we do not grumble but give thanks in everything. We hope to God, not others.
1 Peter 3:53:5 For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands, We can live in righteousness and holiness whatever the risk may come.
Romans 8:138:3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, If we are assured in perseverance and obedience, we will able to worship God.
Romans 8:158:15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."
2 Corinthians 1:201:20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.
Genesis 28:1528:15 "Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you." The result is we experience all the promises of God that is the promise of companion, protection, abundance. God is able to make nothing become exist, the impossible becomes possible. He is able to protect us from any harm and He gives the beautiful future. We are perfected and enter the New Jerusalem.
Romans 4:19-214:19 And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.
4:20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, 4:21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.
God blesses us.
