Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 21:12-1321:12. Also she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
21:13. three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west. The New Jerusalem has twelve gates--four times three.
The number four refers to the four gospel or four corners of the world.
The number three refers to the Trinity of God.
So, the gate of the New Jerusalem is the invitation of the Trinity of God through the preaching of the Word of God to all sinners in the world, so they can become the perfect heavenly bride and enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God, Paradise, and the gate of the New Jerusalem or the heavenly kingdom.
Matthew 22:1-322:1. And Jesus answered and spoke to them again by parables and said:
22:2. "The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son,
22:3. "and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come. The invitation to enter the gate of the New Jerusalem is the same as the one of the marriage supper of the Lamb.
God sends out His servants to call those who are invited through the preaching of the Word of God or the Bride Tidings, so they can enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God, Paradise, and the New Jerusalem.
The three attitudes to the invitation are as follows:
- [verse 3] Not being willing to come. It means rejecting the Word because of the interest of the flesh.
- [verse 4-8] Being unworthy to come.
- [verse 9-13] Coming without a wedding garment.
ad.2.
Being unworthy to come.
Matthew 22:4-822:4. "Again, he sent out other servants, saying, 'Tell those who are invited, "See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding."'
22:5. "But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business.
22:6. "And the rest seized his servants, treated them spitefully, and killed them.
22:7. "But when the king heard about it, he was furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
22:8. "Then he said to his servants, 'The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. It means rejecting Christ's sacrifice or the cross of Christ. It is the same as rejecting to be justified, purified, and perfected. He keeps committing sins up to the peak, so he is destroyed forever in the hell.
The facts of rejecting Christ's sacrifice are as follows:
- Going to his own farm. Leaving God's farm will cause one to go to the swine cage.
- Going to his business. It means that one is busy to look for his daily need in the world, so he does not increase his talent.
- Seizing, threatening, and killing the servants of God. It refers to the atmosphere of hatred or without love.
Matthew 24:12
24:12. "And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
It is the same as having the atmosphere of the spiritual cold, so the lawlessness increases on the last days.
The three places of lawlessness are as follows:
- The lawlessness in the marriage or household.
Matthew 10:21
10:21. "Now brother will deliver up brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death.
Having bad feeling, we must finish it by making peace, namely we confess and forgive one another. As a result, Jesus' blood takes away our sins, so there is no hatred.
We must do our duty in the marriage according to the Word. A husband loves his wife as he loves himself. A wife submits to her husband. The child obeys his parents.
- The lawlessness in the ministry.
Hebrews 10:25-27
10:25. not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
10:26. For if we sin willfullyafter we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
10:27. but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.
The facts are as follows:
- Being unfaithful up to leaving the ministry. The two levels of not ministering to God willfully are as follows:
- The habitual sin. It means that one does not feel guilty when he does not minister to God.
- The intentional sin. It means that one has a chance but he does not want to minister to God. It continues until he cannot minister anymore.
- Ministering but grumbling because of demanding the right or the physical thing.
Numbers 16:8-11
16:8. Then Moses said to Korah, "Hear now, you sons of Levi:
16:9. "Is it a small thing to you that the God of Israel has separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to Himself, to do the work of the tabernacle of the LORD, and to stand before the congregation to serve them;
16:10. "and that He has brought you near to Himself, you and all your brethren, the sons of Levi, with you? And are you seeking the priesthood also?
16:11. "Therefore you and all your company are gathered together against the LORD. And what is Aaron that you complain against him?"
We must do our duty, namely we minister faithfully, and correctly, so we can satisfy and glorify God. As a result, we will be satisfied even glorified by God.
- The lawlessness in the company.
Ephesians 5:3-7
5:3. But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints;
5:4. neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks.
5:5. For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.
5:6. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.
5:7. Therefore do not be partakers with them.
The sinful company up to the peak causes the perdition.
That is why we must enter the true company, namely the one in the shepherding. We must be shepherded well and correctly. The requirements are as follows:
- We are always in the sheepfold, namely the perseverance in committing the three kinds of main service to God. In the sheepfold, our body, soul, and spirit attach to the trinity of God, so the trinity of Satan cannot touch us. We do not fall into sin. We cannot be deceived by the false teaching. We are purified until we are grieved like Peter [John 21:17]. It means that we realize the things that have not been fixed yet in our life. We can regret and confess our sin. It means repenting and living in holiness, so God's love is poured out for us. We can love God and others; even we can be used by Him.
Ephesians 4:11-12
4:11. And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12. for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
We are equipped with the ministry and gift to be used in the ministry of the building of the body of Christ, starting from marriage, shepherding, inter shepherding, until the Israelites and Gentiles become one perfect body of Christ.
- Obeying the voice of the Shepherd.
It is the same as stretching out our hands to God, so Jesus, the Great Shepherd stretches out His merciful hand.
Isaiah 40:11
40:11. He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, And carry them in His bosom, And gently lead those who are with young.
The results are as follows:
- God's merciful hand gathers. It means hugging, protecting, and taking care of our life who is powerless in the midst of the difficulties in the world.
God unifies the marriage and shepherding.
- Carrying. It means that God bears all of our weariness, heavy burdens, and labor, so we experience peace. All things become easy and light. We are patient in waiting the time of God. We keep dwelling in the will of God until His merciful hand finishes all of impossible problems in our life.
- God's merciful hand leads us to the New Jerusalem, the last sheepfold. It means that He renews us to become honest. We become the house of prayer, so our prayer is answered by God. The impossible thing becomes possible. It continues until we are changed to become as perfect as Him.
God blesses us.
