Peace and grace in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew 28:16-20 is about the commandment to preach the gospel or to spread the light or shekinah glory. It means we are employed by God in the great revival according to the great commission of the Lord as follows.
- [ay 18-19] The revival of Holy Spirit at the early rain.
Matthew 28:19
28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
It is the revival in gospel word or the gospel of salvation. It is also called Good Tidings to bring the sinners to get the salvation through the water baptism. It is the revival of salvation.
- The revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain.
Matthew 28:20
28:20 "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.
It is the revival in the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ or the teaching Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword. It is called Bride Tidings to bring the people who have been saved to enter the building of Christ’s perfect body, be sanctified, and perfected to become the Bride of God who is ready to welcome Jesus’ second coming as Heavenly Bridegroom on glorious clouds. It is the revival of perfection.
Thus, we who have been saved must make efforts to reach the perfection. Actually, not all people who have been saved can reach the perfection.
Genesis19:15-17,2619:15 When the morning dawned, the angels urged Lot to hurry, saying, "Arise, take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in the punishment of the city."
19:16 And while he lingered, the men took hold of his hand, his wife's hand, and the hands of his two daughters, the LORD being merciful to him, and they brought him out and set him outside the city.
19:17 So it came to pass, when they had brought them outside, that he said, "Escape for your life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed."
19:26 But his wife looked backbehind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
For example, Lot and his family have been saved but they are commanded to run to the mountain in order not to perish. On their journey, Lot’s wife looks back and becomes the pillar of salt. Looking back means disobedience. Lot’s wife is disobedient in little thing. She looks back and becomes the pillar of salt or tasteless salt. It means there is no anointing of Holy Spirit but spiritual dryness and rottenness in sins up to perdition.
Let us become salty salt on our journey to reach the perfection. We must keep the anointing of Holy Spirit.
The process of being salty salt or keeping the anointing of Holy Spirit is as follows.
- Having peace with one another that is encouraged by the true teaching Word.
Mark 9:50
9:50 "Salt is good, but if the salt loses its flavor, how will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace with one another."
It means as follows.
- Finding sins in our life, we confess them to God and other people. Being forgiven, we should not repeat the sin.
- Finding no sin, we must forgive the sin of other people and forget it.
As a result, the sins are finished by the blood of Jesus and we experience the anointing of Holy Spirit.
- Being always in the sanctuary or Holy Place.
Leviticus 21:12
21:12 'nor shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the LORD.
It means we must be in the sheepfold or have the perseverance in doing three main services to God as follows.
- Golden Candlestick or perseverance in doing General Service.
- Table of Showbread or perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with Holy Communion.
- Golden Altar of Incense or perseverance in doing Prayer Service.
We will always have the anointing of Holy Spirit if we have the perseverance in doing three main services to God.
- Having obedience from little things.
Acts 5:32
5:32 "And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him."
It continues and we can be obedient until our flesh does not speak anymore.
The function of the anointing of Holy Spirit is as follows.
- Holy Spirit is able to preserve our physical life wonderfully.
Romans 8:11
8:11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
Holy Spirit is able to give us life and resurrect us when Jesus comes a second time if now we are allowed to die.
- Holy Spirit is the Comforter and Helper.
John 15:25-27, 16:1-2
15:25 "But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, ‘They hated Me without a cause.’
15:26 "But when the Helpercomes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.
15:27 "And you also will bear witness, because you have been with Me from the beginning.
16:1 "These things I have spoken to you, that you should not be made to stumble.
16:2 "They will put you out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service.
Holy Spirit gives us strength and comfort when we face problems, sufferings, difficulties, hatred without any reason, et cetera, so we do not become disappointed or hopeless. We do not leave the service and ministry but bear witness. The disappointed are same as tasteless salt that cannot endure facing the virus and worms of sin.
Holy Spirit also helps us to solve all problems, even the impossible one. Being helped, we must help other people and bear witness to them. It means we become the salt that dissolves to give delicious taste.
- Holy Spirit sanctifies the Gentiles from the virus, worms, and rottenness of sin, so they can live in righteousness and holiness.
Romans 15:16
15:16 that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
It continues until someday we become perfect as the Bride of God who is ready to welcome Jesus’ second coming on glorious clouds.
God blesses you.
