To Coincide with Fasting Prayer Service Session IIIPeace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 13:213:2. Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragongave him his power, his throne, and great authority.
The Antichrist is the combination of four beasts with the peculiarity as follows:
- He is like a leopard (it is explained in Bible Study Service in Malang, April 06, 2021 to General Service in Malang, April 11, 2021).
- His feet are like the feet of a bear (it is explained in Bible Study Service in Malang, April 13, 2021).
- The mouth is like the mouth of a lion.
- The dragon gives him his power, throne, and great authority.
ad. 2.
Bear.
The peculiarities of the feet of a bear are as follows
- The strong power of gripping, so the prey cannot easily set itself free.
- The strong power of tearing for destroying the prey.
What is the strong gripping or paw? It refers to
the love or lust of money.
1 Timothy 6:10
6:10.For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
The Antichrist grips the church with the love of money or the root of all kinds of evil, so God's servants become stingy and greedy or do not love God and others.
The stinginess and greediness are the same as worshiping the Antichrist, so one becomes the same as the Antichrist that will be destroyed forever.
Matthew 6:176:17."But you, when you fast, anoint your headand wash your face,
The two signs of the true fasting are as follows:
- 'wash your face' = the sanctification of the heart by the Word.
- 'anoint your head' = the mind is anointed by Holy Spirit.
Thus, the true fasting prayer means giving opportunity to the Word in the anointing of Holy Spirit or the true teaching Word as wide as possible for gripping us or sanctifying our heart and mind from the lust of money, so we are set free from the grip of the Antichrist and we can feel more blessed to give than to receive.
The ability to give does not depend on the riches or poverty, but the heart which is not bound by the lust of money or not. Likewise, if we are gripped by Holy Spirit, we can give our time for hearing the Word although maybe we have worked hard all day long. Being gripped by the Antichrist, one will be sleepy hearing the Word although he has slept all day long.
The examples are as follows:
- The church of the Macedonians could give although they were poor and in temptations.
- The poor widow could give in her poverty.
Mark 12:44
12:44."for they all put in out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all that she had, her whole livelihood."
The practices of giving are as follows:
- Returning the possession of God, namely the tithes and offerings.
- Giving to the work of God.
- Giving to others who are in need.
2 Corinthians 9:79:7.So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
The requirements of giving are as follows:
- Giving with faith or righteousness:
- It begins from returning the tithes, namely one over ten of the blessings we have received.
- Giving from the income which is right, not from the stolen money.
- Giving with a willing heart, not of necessity.
- Giving with joy and thanksgiving to God.
After fulfilling the practices and requirements of giving, we will feel more blessed to give than to receive. It is the same as the torn Veil or the flesh that has been fully torn, so we can surrender our whole life to God.
For example, the widow gave from her poverty, namely she gave her whole life to God.
Mark 12:4412:44."for they all put in out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all that she had, her whole livelihood."
The process of surrendering the whole life to God is as follows:
- Casting all cares upon God, we can trust and entrust our life to Him or totally have faith to God.
Psalm 37:5
37:5.Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.
The proof of casting all cares upon God is being shepherded well and correctly or always dwelling in the sheepfold. We place Jesus as the Great Shepherd.
1 Peter 5:7
5:7.casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
1 Peter 5 refers to the shepherding.
- Keeping silent before the Lord.
Psalm 37:6-7
37:6.He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday.
37:7.Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.
It means as follows:
- Doing the introspection in our life, so we can confess our physical and spiritual weakness. We only hope to the mercy of God.
- The full surrendering to God. It is the same as worshiping Him. We stretch out our hands to God and He stretches out His merciful hands. He will work with His miracle.
The results are as follows:
- The merciful hands of God protect and preserve us in the midst of shakings in the world on the last days until the time when the Antichrist reigns over the world. Mark 12 is about a widow giving in her poverty, and then Mark 13 is about the shaking.
Physically, we are preserved abundantly until we can give thanks and be peaceful.
Spiritually, we keep righteous and holy. We are not influenced by the false teachings and sins. We are peaceful and all things become easy and light until someday we are evacuated to the wilderness, far away from the presence of the Antichrist who reigns over the world. We are preserved by God directly through the true teaching Word and the Holy Communion.
- The merciful hands of God finish all impossible problems. Cast all things upon God!
- The merciful hands of God are able to give the beautiful and successful future life in time of need. The important thing is the patience in waiting for God's time through keeping silent and surrendering to Him.
- The merciful hands of God change us from the fleshly men to the spiritual ones, namely being honest.
Psalm 37:6
37:6.He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday.
If we are honest, our face will be cheerful regardless of anything we must face.
When Jesus comes a second time, we will be changed to be as perfect as He is for being worthy for welcoming His second coming on the glorious clouds. We enter the New Jerusalem.
Matthew 13:42-43
13:42."and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
13:43 "Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
Verse 42 = ones who are gripped by the Antichrist will be destroyed forever.
Verse 43 = we who are in the hands of God will be changed up to the perfection.
God blesses you.
